I went to the new Bombshell location in Midlothian off of Hull street at Commonwealth Twenty.
The hair specialist met with me prior to my appointment to determine what was the best course of action for my hair. I was not sure if I needed to do an all over frost again or . . . The specialist decided we needed to bring my natural color back up and then color my hair blonde. It took two specialist to work on my hair for the coloring portions and of course they have another specialist that shampoos. The shampoo alone was glorious and I would recommend them based on the shampoo alone!! My color job took a total of five hours. Seems excessive but when taking into account all that was involved to get my hair the color it is today, I am surprised that it only took the five hours.

Tiffany was very accommodating and personable and loved the décor and music (as a '50's "baby")! I felt like she really listened and understood what my concerns were and tried to achieve my desired results. It's still a "work in progress" as my hair is not the easiest to deal with. That said, I have scheduled another appointment and look forward to the experience.

They are just friendly. I like my stylist a lot. They do nails and other things as well. I would use them again in the future.

They're amazing. I've never had my hair cut so well - I'd go so far to say they changed my life! They're very professional. There are actually few stylists that specialize in curly hair. They're "Curly Girl" Certified - per the the Curly Girl Book which they also make available in the store. They educate on products and on care and demonstrate ways to take of unruly curls. I always go to Audrey.

My father recently passed away and my 80 year old mother had been his caretaker 24/7 for the last 2+ years. As most people know who have been in this situation, the caretaker has a tendency to put the needs of the one they are caring for above everything else including themselves. My mother is dealing well with the passing of her husband of 62 + years taking one day at a time. She has been staying with us in Virginia while she grieves and heals. To help pep her up and as part of her Mother's Day present, I wanted to take her to get her haircut. Her hair had not been cut for at least two years if not longer. I was looking for a place that would give her and her hair a little TLC. Many of my friends have been saying great things about the Bombshell location in Short Pump so I called them up and explained the situation. My mother had an appointment on Friday with Natalya for her hair and I had an appointment at the same time with Tracy for a shellac manicure. When we walked in the door the look on my mother's face was priceless. What kind of place are you taking me to? This looks like no hair salon I have ever seen. She was a bit hesitant having her main experience with hair being inside a friends home or at a mall salon. Natalya was a doll. She took such good care of my mom and it was nice to hear my mom laughing and see her smiling. By the end of her appointment I was wondering if I was going to have a new adopted sister named Natalya. Natalya did an amazing job on my mom's hair. She took the untreated hair and turned it into a cute soft bob cut which easily took 10 years off my mom's face. As for me, Tracy was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the shellac manicure and the time zipped by as we had such a great conversation. I have had shellac manicures at several locations in the Short Pump area to mixed results but Tracy really knows what she is doing to make sure you get the most our of the shellac finish. I only wish they would be able to do pedicures at this location. Bombshell is a great salon with wonderful professional personnel. My mother can't wait to go back and get her new haircut freshened up and a manicure and I will definitely be back for a manicure as well as seriously considering switching my own hair stylist to one at Bombshell. Thank you Natalya and Bombshell for giving my mom a great experience!!!!!

I went to Bombshell to have some waxing done. They were excellent. Very kind, and curteous. One of the best experiences i've ever had. I would recommend them to anyone. The only issue I had was it took a while to get an appointment, but that is just because they are so popular.

I really liked the theme of the salon, which had a glam rockabilly style. The waiting room was comfortable and chic with lots of accessories and products to browse while I waited. The staff were all very friendly and my waxer Amanda was awesome. She made me feel comfortable and was very professional. I was very happy with the experience as well as the result, so I made a follow-up appointment for the next month.

- I dropped into the salon on a moments notice for a bang trim. An adorable receptionist quickly asked the stylists if they could handle me as my regular stylist (Carol) was not in. Casey trimmed me right up and I bought some hairspray. They have a great product line in the salon. They also have makeup and novelties that are lots of fun. I zipped out the door and the whole event took less than 30 minutes. Yaaay! I will go back soon for overall color because they have done my color in the past and it is awesome. I am a risk taker with hair and these ladies have the confidence to truly cut and style hair....

Scheduled an appointment with fairly short notice and they accommodated my needs.Had my first appointment for a haircut with a curly hair specialist and she addressed what I wanted to do very well. Cut turned out great and would go back again.Accustomed to going to a salon that used strictly the Brazilian hard wax as opposed to strip wax and Bombshell uses the Brazilian hard wax as well. This was a deciding factor in going here for the service. They did not disappoint and were experienced using it.Waxing was as expected and the results were great.

Bombshell is advertised as a Brazilian waxing and skincare studio but I went there because Casey does Curly Girl haircuts. I was lamenting the lack of professionals who cut curly hair properly and a customer of mine said "You need to go see Casey at Bombshell--she trained with the woman who wrote the Curly Girl book!". Casey did a great job, answered all my questions and even gave me a cheat sheet about proper care of curly hair. She took her time and was very professional. The studio is cute and stresses the pinup girl culture with accessories and decorations to look at while you wait; my wait was about ten minutes. The staff was pleasant and called before and after my visit. The price was fair and they will trim my bangs for free in between haircuts if I need it. I have only two minor complaints--if you call directory assistance for their number you have to know that it is a waxing salon because it is not listed as a beauty or hair place at all. Second, you have to go around the back of the building to get into the studio--the address is on South Crenshaw but the door is NOT on the street. Overall, it was a great experience, even for someone in her fifties who is certainly not a pinup girl!
