Bold Moving and Storage

The team made my moving day stress-free. They worked efficiently and kept a great attitude throughout the day. They packed everything neatly, transported it safely, and even helped me set up a few things at my new place.

Worst possible moving experience. Our valuable crystal and china (from our wedding, and 80+ year old items and family heirlooms were packed unwrapped and without proper protection, placed in boxes to break against other unprotected glass, metal, etc. Our fina artwork was packed without any protection, not individually wrapped, not wrapped at all, no packing materials, just 8-10 pieces of expensive framed art placed into a wardrobe box with no protection, resulting in chips, scuffs, and scratches in both glass facing and frames of original and 50+ year old artist-framed pictures. Their truck drove over multiple lawns on our street leaving tire tracks, they promised to fix it and did nothing. Offered $16.50 in total to compensate us for their negligent damage of $5000+ of damaged items not including priceless items of sentimental value. Absolutely shameful handling of a grossly negligent pack job, adding insult to injury with zero empathy or responsibility taken. AVOID!

Did a long distance move with these guys, great attitudes and really strong. Was really stressed out before the move, however we had nothing damaged, customer service was top notch. Highly recommended!

Great experience with Bold Moving! We moved my 80 year old mother from FL to NC to live with us. We decided on Bold after talking with several other moving companies. Our Sales Rep was so patient with us and she even taught mom how to use Zoom to do an accurate inventory. The crew came and did a full pack-out. We could not believe how quickly and efficiently they worked as a team. They were a pleasure and my mother felt they packed with care and that she was in good hands. That was the most important thing for us. Her belongings were delivered within two days of her requested move in date and the crew set everything up in the house for her. It was amazing! We were very concerned about her large china cabinet and curio cabinet (lots of glass) and were overjoyed when they were unwrapped unscathed! The crew put so much bubble wrap and card board on them for protection. Great job and thank you! We could not have asked for a better moving experience for mom and will use Bold again should the need arise.

Moved from Central Pa to Central FL. Pick up and packing was on time, professional and for the quoted price. Storage was a bit longer than we expected, therefor a little more expensive. Delivery, unpacking and set up was on time and professional. Four broken pottery items out of hundreds of pieces. More our fault than theirs. Overall we were very happy with the experience.

We moved our household from 2 storage units by Albany NY to Charlotte NC. I was very pleased with both the process to get a quote, schedule the move, and the communications from quoting to follow up after the move. The crew how loaded and unloaded were all very polite and professional. Each one introduced themselves then went right to work. I have heard and read so many horror stories from others I did have concerns. I spoke to and got quotes from 5 companies from the industry standard to smaller outfits. Bold was not the cheapest but were well under most quotes. They earned their money. There was some minor damage but not from abuse . Typical moving and nothing of significance.
