Bath Planet RIC

They have not yet completed our project, but thus far Matt and Mike have been very attentive to our every need. Bath Planet was not the cheapest quote, nor the most expensive we received, but they did fit our needs perfectly. Matt has gone above and beyond to get me exactly what I want for our custom shower (it's really big) and has made sure to be in constant contact as it's taking a bit to get the materials (it's a custom job and I told him from the start we weren't in a great hurry to complete it). Only reason for less than a 5 star review at this point is the project is not yet complete. Once it is, I plan to revise this review.

First, I would like you to know that this was a VERY small master bath with the older Fiberglass shower unit in it off the master bedroom. If you subtracted the floor space of the shower, the remainder of the bath was approximately 4' x 4.' The installer had to saw out the fiberglass to get it out, which nicked my sheet rock in three places - which he tried to spackle the best he could. The bottom and sides of the new shower as well as the new flooring looked very nice when he finished on his 2nd day here. A few other small things came up but he fixed those as well before he left. After thinking about the whole job, I feel I paid way too much for what I got ($7500) plus I still had to buy the vanity, mirror, all hardware, light fixture, & paint, etc., which was an additional $500+ - and I'm being conservative. If I had to do it over, I would definitely get more estimates!!!

Awesome Job! Tub converted to Shower was completed in less than 8 hours. Very neat and clean job.

Unless you have a predetermined and undisclosed (by them) credit rating find another contractor. They are just a contractor not a lender for financing.

Ones the tile arrived work started very quickly. The worker was very skilled and could Handel the job by himself. The work area was cleaned every evening and floor covering was used to protect the floors. The quality of the remodel was worth the price in the end. Bath Planet is a company that I would recommend to family or friends.

I felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman when reviewing the product. After agreeing to make the purchase and the order was placed, there was no customer service. It took almost two weeks to get the shower installed. The installer was well mannered and it appears to be a good installation and he cleaned up any mess. There has been no follow up to see if I am pleased with the installation.

It took longer than I originally anticipated, but it was well worth waiting for. I learned several lessons in patience.

Job was not started/completed as promised. The quality of work performed by the first person that did the work was sloppy and poor, however, it was finished very good by an outside, non employee, sub contractor. He did a nice job correcting the mess that the first employee of Bath Plantet had done. The General Manager of the firm was very rude and had an attitude problem when we wanted answers and advice from him as to when and what to expect in getting the job done. The Vice President was very concerned and helpful at the end of the job as well as for the nice lady who is in charge of things moving as expected. Overall, at the end of the job, it was very nice and completed as we were expected. To give the benefit of what was finally completed the job turned out very nicely. (Thanks to the help of higher management who made sure it was finally completed to our satisfaction)

You do not want to use these people. I signed their contract on 2/27/18 and was told that the job would start on week of March, 19 and it is now April 20 and it was just finished yesterday 4/19/18. The person that they sent to do the work seemed to have an attitude problem and the work that he performed was terrible with no attention to detail at all Very sloppy work. (Bath Planet finally had to send out an outside sub-contractor to fix the mistakes that the first person made). We have been jerked around from the beginning of this job. All but a couple of their employees had a very bad attitude and were rude and uncaring. I do have to say that the project manager lady and the estimator IE; The / quality control/problem solver could not have been any nicer. The main person, I guess maybe the owner or what ever his title was with the company was the worst of all. Never again will I use them or recommend them even to my worst enemy. Don't get burnt like I did. My opinion.

The crew worked very hard with attention to detail.

They worked around our schedule to set up an appointment for the consultation. They were patient while we decided and did not pressure us to purchase the most expensive things. They installed a new shower quickly and it looked beautiful. They were professional and polite.

Arrived on time. Kept work space clean. I provided toilet and vanity that contractor picked up for me. Work finished in timeline promised. Very satisfied.

Very poor communication with me and with each other. Great work but poor communicators. I had to bug them to get a start date. They are a division of Aapco.

Overall, the work was done to my satisfaction. There were several small issues that needed to be tweaked. Bath Planet was quick to respond by sending the appropriate workmen out to make sure I was happy with the final results.

unprofessional and expensive, the clean up was very poor and I would not recommend. they left 2 holes in my walls that they did not patch up. they may be good for standard remodels but their custom work did not meet my expectations.

The installers were professional and did a great job. Their clean up was flawless .

Extremely pleased with the product, time installing and cleanliness of contractor. Very professional and always kept us informed through the process. Would definitely recommend to others seeking to install a shower stall.

Work was accomplished on time with excellent results. Follow up was outstanding.

After been unsatisfied and angered by finished product, and not getting any type of solution, APPCO, Bath Planet main company VP Mike Brexler has helped us getting fixing our problems. He has worked with us getting our tile shower into an acceptable finish product. If you select this company and somethimg does not look right at all, get with Mr. Brexler and he will the problem before the product gets out of hand and prevent poor workmanship.

Worked fast and cleaned everything at the end of the job.

The bathroom needed renovation. And I could not have done the work myself. So, it was worth paying someone to do it.

Excellent product.
