Yvette was great to work with! She was thoughtful, careful and respected the wishes of the entire family. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was always on time and stayed until the job was completed. She made suggestions and brought extra shelving and time saving items to better organize a particular space. She took before and after photos and kept careful account of where everything was located. I will definately use Yvette again!

Yvette helped me purge, separate and organize my closet, freestanding wardrobe, linen closet, dresser top, drawers, bathroom medicine cabinet and space beneath the bathroom sink/My closets were not functional and the available space was not properly maximized/Yvette is non judgmental and very matter of fact when it comes to communicating one�s organizational needs and their solutions/I used the tools she gave me to totally revamp the kitchen and other closets/Now it�s almost effortless to keep things in order because everything has a place and things with no purpose are discarded, no emotions attached/Now I have the momentum and direction to execute the strategy provided and to keep things in check.

Yvette is a wonderful organizer. I was essentially hands off and told her to go for it. She took a laundry room that was completely cluttered with overflow thanksgiving dinner cookware, plates and utensils, barbeque equipment, outdoor games and toys, bulk toilet paper and paper towels, etc. and made it into a large organized space. I didn't think it was possible. The only thing I had to do was buy some storage bins, decide what was trash and what could be donated. She did everything else. She was a pure joy to work with and I plan to have her organize my basement next!

Yvette with Lighten Up has been fantastic to work work with. I was very embarrassed at the amount of clutter I had in my home and she immediately put me at ease during our 1st phone conversation. She has worked tirelessly (and good naturedly) with me and the results are amazing. If you are a fellow procrastinator and/or self-conscious about your clutter, let those issues go and contact her. I appreciate the respect I have received for my physical limitations (back prob), adherence to my budget plan and the fact that donatable items are delivered directly to charity, which makes me feel even better that I finally made the decision to get help!

I was amazed at how quickly the organizer understood my piles of paper and started sorting through the papers. It took only four visits averaging about 5 hours each to go through years of personal papers and get me to initiate a review of my own clipping file. The project is ongoing but I have a good idea now of what to do and how to approach it. She also took into consideration the fact that I don't drive and took the items for shredding to Office Depot for me (of course I covered the shredding cost). All in all, a good experience, and it left me feeling less burdened and more in control.

She is a whirlwind of action, has an amazing ability to see (and create) order where there was none, and is pleasant and nice to be around to boot. We asked for her help in getting ready for a remodeling of our present office space, and she has, and still is doing a marvelous job on that task. But she has also taken the initiative when I was not here to organize a utility closet, set up a daily system for me so that I can get more done myself, volunteered to find someone to repair an antique magazine rack which we love, and in general continues to provide supportive and efficient help. I have been so pleased with her work and personality that I have already recommended her to others. My �rating� is a strong five stars. It would be six, were that possible.

After recently relocating to Reston, I found myself completely encircled by boxes, books, and furniture. There was barely a path to walk from one room to the next. It was then that Yvette from Lighten Up Organizers came to the rescue. She analyzed the space � and the stuff I was trying to cram into it � and figured out the most efficient way to make everything work. Then without delay she unpacked and organized nonstop. I helped while we chatted pleasantly about the Reston area and about the many things we realized we had in common. What a great way to ease the stress of moving!
