They did very good work all the way through and the painting job was excellent. We had one problem with a bad product, which they replaced with no questions asked. They came and re-painted the area at no extra cost. They very responsive, came here early, did the job well and cleaned up very well after the work was done. They took good care of the interiors while the work was going on. I have already hired them for another job.

Brian came out and gave me an estimate for removing the wallpaper from two bedrooms and a bathroom, painting those rooms (celings, woodwork, and a closet) , and applying a border to the bathroom after walls were painted. Previously I had an estimate from another company that had painted for me, and felt the estimate was too high, plus they would not apply the border. After checking Angie's list, I found All American Painting Co. which was close to where I live. I prefer to do business with local companies. Brian came out within a few days and gave me an estimate. It was about $1,500 lower than the other comapny, and All American would apply the border. Based on recommendations from Angie's list, I went with All American Painting. I am thrilled with the painting job. The crew arrived every morning promptly at 7 a.m. and went right to work. The job took 2 1/2 days. They covered all the furniture, removed window coverings, and two heavy mirrors. Everything was put back in place after they finished, even all my heavy furniture. The entire crew was fantastic and excellent painters. You would never have guessed there had been wallpaper on the walls for about 35 years. ?

Incredible. Brian came out and provided a detailed room by room written estimate. Came back to walk the home and mark stop and start points for various colors. Was on time and professional. Rod and his team of 4 showed up on time were all curteous and professional. Rod paid attention to detail by drop clothing the entire home, closing all my vents to ensure dust or dirt didn't get in the vents. He went above and beyond by accepting multiple interuptions for deliveries I was expecting and notified us of an issue with the builders workers using our electricity and ran them off the property! Master bath was 8" custom stripes in 2 colors. Perfectly straight lines no issues. One room done in Red and was primed and took 4 coats. No streaks or roller marks and crisp clean lines. Any area's I pointed out for touch up were done willingly without complaint but there were very few of those. What else can I say, use these guys! A pleasure to work with. All work completed on schedule except the custom striping. That was due to a medical emergency and they spoke to me about it in advanced and ask if it could be completed the next day which I agreed to. It was done as they said and looks amazing.

Work done well, very clean, professional job. Careful about wallpaper removal so that no extra wall prep was required for painting. Question from painter about whether painting doors (4) was included in estimate was resolved quickly (and favorably) with a call to company owner. Wallpaper replacement (small job) was done later by a different worker, who did a perfect job. We would definitely use this company again.

I negotiated with Brian McCracken for a job that would fit my budget. I selected a limited "must do" set of exterior surfaces that required painting before winter. Brian met my needs more than half way and provided a flexible schedule. The job was done efficiently and quickly with little disruption to my normal flow of life. I would use All American Painting again.

The wallpaper in several rooms was about 20 years old, and it was very hard to take down. Their pricing is reasonable for the quality of their work. They have the same crew come out every time, and they are a loyal crew.

They have been by far the best company to paint my house. The pricing was in the middle of other quotes but the quality of their work is excellent. The owner came out when the work was done to see if we still liked the work.

I have hired painters to do exterior work before, but Rod and Ron did the most complete and quality work of any. Rod went above and beyond by fixing a number of things not on the estimate. His attitude is: he paints like he is painting his own home and if he sees something he can address he will just do it, no questions asked. A couple of examples include pulling vinyl siding together that pulled apart over time, hammering in gutter pins that have loosened and letting me know of any problems or potential problems they saw. I feel confident that I hired the right company and got lucky enough to get a quality team to do the job. Rod and Ron have been working together for 17 years and enjoy what they do. The finished product reflects this.

It went well. The biggest thing was laying down enough tarps to keep the the scrapings contained. They did come back and make it right. There was the Foreman and a crew of several guys who were all personable and willing to take direction if needed.

Project took some time in that I had to wait until the doors were installed and then there were delays caused by inclement weather. In one instance Brian sent a painter over for a day to take advantage of of a break in the weather to paint and protect an area which was particularly susceptible to water damage. When the weather cleared, there were painters there every day until the job was finished. As the job progressed we uncovered additional work that had to be done as well as over-estimations in the work required. These change orders were meticulously noted and at the end of the job the total cost was revised downward.

The painter did an excellent job. He thoroughly prepped the surfaces, sanding as needed, before putting fresh coats of paint on the doors. The garage door needed two coats. He was careful, neat and very efficient - and the doors both look great. It was a pleasure working with Brian, the owner of the company. He sent his estimate promptly on line & was flexible in setting up a painting date. He gave clear advice on guiding me in paint selection & came in with a very reasonable cost and had an efficient system in place for paying online.

This is a professional company. From first contact we were impressed. Brian quickly scheduled a time to give us an estimate. The work was started and finished on schedule, and the painters did an excellent job. For the fence painting, the fence company did not deliver on time, and All American was understanding and flexible. They scheduled the painting work as soon as the fence sections were installed.

Told us it was no problem to do the job originally - could get the work done based on our dimensions and theirs. We got on the schedule. Came out 2 weeks later, and the men that showed up had no idea how to start the job. Called the office and the office said that they needed architectural plans. They never told us this originally and then they said they did not want to do the job. This now puts me behind schedule by 3 weeks as I have to find another contractor.
Response from All American Painting Plus Inc

"WE WERE HIRED TO DO AN ELABORATE FIREPLACE SURROUND WITH SIDE SEATING. THE DAY THE JOB STARTED THE MEMBER WAS ASKED FOR EXACT DIMENSIONS AND OR PLANS. SHE COULD NOT PRODUCE THEM. WHEN SHE WAIVERED BACK AND FORTH ON DIMENSIONS, MY CARPENTERS DID NOT WANT TO PROCEED WITHOUT ANYTHING ON PAPER FOR THEY DID NOT WANT TO BE ACCOUNTABLE IF SHE CHANGED HER MIND LATER. ALSO, THE GAS FIREPLACE WAS NOT EVEN INSTALLED YET, WHICH COULD HAVE LED TO FUTURE PROBLEMS. I TOLD HER WE WERE USED TO WORKING FROM PLANS AND IF SHE WOULD PRODUCE SOME WE WOULD BE MORE THEN HAPPY TO CONTINUE WITH THE WORK. THIS WORK WAS IN CONJUNCTION WITH AN ENTIRE REMODEL OF THE MAIN FLOOR OF HER PARENTS' HOUSE. THE MEMBER WAS BEING HER OWN GENERAL CONTRACTOR, AND I THINK SHE WAS A LITTLE IN OVER HER OWN HEAD."

The job was supposed to take one day (Friday), but the replacement lumber did not arrive until the following Monday. The work was completed on Monday. Brian kept me informed of progress and the reason for the delay. The work was excellent. Cleanup was complete.

I chose this company because their estimate seemed very reasonable. The entire project lasted three days and we were very disappointed with the work. The employees, although always on time, were unprofessional, napping in the front yard, and leaving trash and nails in our yard and driveway and the neighbor's yard. Since, so little prep work was done, the painting looked sloppy, the deck staining was inadequate, and the painted railing at the front of the house, looks horrible. We informed Mr. McCracken, who responded promptly, about these concerns and he sent his employees out twice to fix the problems. Most of the problems were fixed, however they left our deck a muddy mess, and our railing still needs to be sanded and re-painted. They have not returned to fix these problems. The only silver lining is that Mr. McCracken, did reduce the price slightly and was apologetic. While, the owner was helpful and did at least attempt to correct our concerns, I would not use this company, again.

The process took a little over a week due to two days of rain. Mr. McCracken didn't want to take any chances with bad weather. They cleaned up everyday and used care with the plants growing around the house. He was able to return my calls everyday by 6:00 p.m. whenever I had a question about things. The two men working were very polite and well spoken. When I found an area that had been missed on the underside of the patio, they came out within three days to take care of the problem. We were very please with the work done and would use them again.

We initially called an Angie's List-recommended handyman, Carlos Morales, who quoted us $950. For a competing offer we called All American Painting Plus, and the owner, Brian McCracken, performed the estimate himself. He quoted us $740, and promised that the work would be done by insured, English-speaking painters. We accepted his offer. After this, though, we found it difficult to get back in touch with Brian to schedule a time for the work to be done. Only by pestering him did we succeed. I'm glad we didn't call someone else, though: Once Brian set up the work, everything went like clockwork. The painters arrived on schedule, did the work well, and were courteous. But especially good, and the reason we will call All American Painting Plus again, is that one of the painters, Colin Miller, took the time to listen to our concerns, to make sure everything went perfectly, and to ensure all our needs were met. That exceptional service won our trust and our repeat business.

The price was a little bit high, but the quality of the work is great. They did redo some work after i changed my mind and had a good attitude and are willing to work with the customer to their satisfaction. The clean up was really good as well.

Our initial meeting went well with Brian. He was slow getting us a quote (due to family reasons) and to respond to our questions/requests via email. It was difficult getting everything we wanted in writing, as it seemed signed contracts were not a big deal except to us. Brian notified us via email that the guys could start a day early (we weren't sure what the expectations were about finishing early but they also finished one day earlier than originally quoted since they started early.) Mark and his painters were early each day (4 days initially, then one to fix a few things). They were extremely friendly, cooperative, accommodating, and professional. In the end, we were not happy with some things that had paint splashes on them that shouldn't, the lack of attention to detail on straight lines, good coverage, no streaks, etc. He did send Mark back to fix some of our concerns, and Mark was professional. It was a fair job, but not as good as expected.

Brian came out to do an estimate and arrived on time. The estimate underwent several revisions as we changed what work we wanted him to do. He was always easy to work with. The painters came out and did the work. They had a question about one thing and called me about it rather than guessing. Brian kept me well-informed of scheduling and progress. They did an excellent job of cleaning up and even brought our trash cans in from the street and placed them nicely against the house.

They came and measured and took care of ordering the door from another company since it was an odd size. When it took longer than expected for the door to come in, the company called and kept us informed of the time frame. The work was done to our satisfaction, and they even called later to see if we were happy.

I'd had two bids on this job, ranging from $2K-$3K; something I judged to be way off the mark. Brian McCracken was a little late showing up but was prompt in providing a professional proposal that was very acceptable. He told me up front that there would be a 3-4 week delay in getting started and required a 50% deposit. He got back to me in three weeks, but several days of rain precluded starting. During that period Brian called me regularly to give updates and sent someone out to scope out the job. When the job started it went like clockwork, the workman was professional and answered all my questions. Given the extra work done, the job was only extended by about three hours. I am well pleased with this contract. The only drawback with the company is that it is sometimes hard to get a live voice to talk to.
