Very well. I received an e-mail two days prior to the service. On the day of the service they were running late and didn't arrive until about 5:30 pm, but they had three machines and four guys and the work went quickly. I will have them come back and aerate again in the spring.

"It is extremely unfortunate to receive a review like this when great care was taken to explain to this member exactly why we did not provide a quote. We explained that our business/marketing model is to send flyers to specific types of neighborhoods in specific ZIP Codes. This member does not live in a neighborhood we target but did request a quote. Our flyer-delivery service was supposed to deliver to this member's ZIP Code (but not to his neighborhood) but ended up not doing so. We initially agreed to provide a quote because we had planned to pick-up product within this member's ZIP Code. The product was delivered to us instead and our flyer-delivery service ended-up not going to this ZIP Code after all. At this point, The operations of our sister company were in full motion and we did not have work scheduled anywhere near this ZIP Code; for this reason, we respectfully declined submitting the proposal. Rather than accept the truth that our business model is not like that of the typical landscape company, this member decided that we were being dishonest with him. Our business model has been the same since our inception and we did our best to politely explain that to this member."

It went very well.  We paid for 2 applications.  Aeration Corp came out a few months apart and put down fertilizer and weed control.  They gave me detailed instruction on what I needed to do to have the best results.  We were very pleased.  Our yard looks great!

I never saw the crew do its work, even though I was home during at least one visit.  But I saw the tracks of their applicator in my grass, so I know they had been there.  I would get an email after the visit, telling me that the treatment had been provided.  Unfortunately, my yard is in as bad a shape as it was before the treatments. I expected fewer weeds, but it may be that my yard was too far gone for The Aeration Corps' work to have made a difference.  I believe they did what The Big Deal called for, but, in my case, my yard did not show a marked improvement.  I suspect that it can't be laid at the feet of this business.  I suspect that I need more attention than I bought in The Big Deal, probably a more personalized/customized and sustained program of fertilization and weed control to make a visible difference in my yard.

"This Customer emailed a brief, impolite message communicating that he was dissatisfied. We promptly responded with information explaining how Lawn Fertilization Programs work and how to reap the best benefit from them. We also reminded this Customer that we included this information in both of our emails after each service was performed and that we would be very happy to answer any further quetions he had; he did not reply to our message but posted his review instead. It is important to us to give our Customers all the tools necessary to maximize the benefits of our services. We do this because all we have the power to do is perform the proper services at the proper times of the year - the results are then necessarily contingent upon the environmental factors at play and the Customer's willingness to follow directions. As we mentioned to this Customer, lawns do not fall into disrepair overnight and it may, therefore, take significant tme while consistently following proper watering, mowing and other instructions before the overall condition is improved. We truly desire the best results from our services for each Customer and endeavor to communicate clearly all important information while remaining available to field questions."

Things have gone fantastically with them. We've used them three times, the first time about five years ago. We've used them for two different homes. I received a flyer in the mail. 
I went to their website and signed up for the service
I got an email saying that my service was scheduled for 2 days later.
They showed up with their equipment and performed the lawn service even under torrential rain.
The aeration was thorough and they included a strip of lawn belonging to our community in the back yard.

I purchased the $89 for Two Applications of Fertilizer with Pre-emergent Crabgrass and Broadleaf Weed Control  from The Aeration Corps. They came and applied both treatments and did exactly where I wanted them to with no issues. David was extremely thorough and professional, easily reachable via email and answered any  questions I had. I would HIGHLY recommend The Aeration Corps if you're looking for a quality job with a fair price. They are great!

I chose The Aeration Corps because their prices were straightforward and listed on their website and because they offer online scheduling. This was much easier than having to call different places, and the price of $95 for up to 1/4 acre seemed fair. As soon as I scheduled, I received a confirmation email that my service date would be emailed to me shortly. I followed up via email with further instructions (in addition to what I left via their website) and they promptly responded. They also notified me two days before the service and again when it rained to reschedule. My first service date was within a week of scheduling. They completed the work while I was at work and promptly billed me via email, and I paid online via a secure website. It couldn't have been easier. They also did a good job -- exactly what I expected. They were careful not to aerate the neighbor's yard and paid special attention to the areas I had noted in the instructions. I plan to use them again.

I had a lot of questions that I emailed and David answered promptly. I purchased the service and The Aeration Corps arrived the next day. David spent a great deal of time answering my questions and offering advice for ways to improve my lawn. He advised me against a core aeration and over-seeding at the time when he could have done the work and easily accepted my money. Will definitely use them again!

It was fine. My yard is a little bit larger than the standard that they offer so I paid a few bucks more. He came out the very next day, applied it, cleaned up a little bit of dust of fertilizer that was out there in the driveway and the walkways and left and it looked great. We have a nice green lawn so I was very happy with the service. He was very polite and very cordial. He explained everything. We had several communications and he was very forthright and honest. I'm very satisfied with what I was seeing under that contract. He was very easy to deal with. He did a very good job. He was quick to respond and he cleaned up after himself which I think is unusual in this industry. I'm very happy with the price. It was about half the price than my usual lawn care provider offered. The quality was great. He didn't miss any spots. He did exactly what he contracted for. In 2 days, he was out. We agreed upon time and he was there actually 5 minutes early so he was not a problem at all. He came ready to work. He was very punctual. Not only was he professional in his attitude and appearance but he was very polite and very informative. He explained to me what he was going to do, how he was gonna do it, how long it would take and he told me that he'd be cleaning up afterwards and he did exactly what he said he would do. We handled the finances through email through Angie's List and I'm very happy with the experience. I would highly recommend him.

They did the work, but they did not provide any top cover to help protect and germinate the grass. Other providers did. Very legalistic. Read terms thoroughly. You pay first via the web to book services.

I purchased a Big Deal on the 14th of March, and I received an email notification from the service provider on th 15th saying that they didn't service my area. They told me that if I could get three of my neighbors to purchase the deal as well, then they would consider coming out to my neighborhood. I emailed them back saying that I was not interested in this and would just prefer a refund, and I have not heard back from them since.

"We promptly replied to this member twice the day after we received her email alerting us that her account had been debited. We explained that all billing is done via Angie's List and that we had not received any payment. Furthermore, we contacted our Angie's List representative and asked him how this member could receive a refund. We promptly emailed her and gave her the toll-free number to the Angie's List Help Desk. Finally, we have never serviced Stafford County and are not sure why she even received our promotion. Rather than simply telling her we could not perform her service, we extended the offer to her neighbors as well in an effort to justify driving out of our service area to her home. We are assuming this member did not check her Angie's List email and have since replied to her, encouraging her to view the thread where we did, in fact, respond. ~The Aeration Corps"
