Provided Firewood

I have used Robert Alexander twice to obtain firewood. On both occasions the quantity of wood delivered was less than advertised and paid for. The first time this happened he returned with additional wood to make up for the short fall. The second time he committed to making up the short fall but did not. He claims to sell cords which are actually about 3/4 of a cord.

Firewood delivery

Requested firewood delivery. After texting and quickly agreeing on price, scheduling resulted in extensive and frustrating back and forth. At the beginning of every text conversation I was asked for my address despite providing it on multiple occassions. Tonight, I received a series of vulgar, incoherently written, highly unprofessional, text messages from the business owner's cell phone. This person (or those working for him/her with access to the listed cell phone number) appears to be highly unstable and I would never do business with them. Plenty of other reputable companies in the area to buy firewood from.

It went just fine. We went back and forth via text and set up a mutually agreeable date for the delivery. The wood is good-quality and the quantity seems honest.

Robert Alexander advertised in Craig's list, that he would deliver one cord of seasoned firewood for the above price. The delivered wood was on time, and very nicely seasoned but a little less than a cord. Mr. Alexander promptly made up the difference with resistance. Overall it was a pleasure to do business with him.

Mr Alexander advertised in CL that he would deliver one cord of seasoned oak for 175$. He was on time, and the wood was nicely seasoned oak as promised, but it was a little under a cord. He quickly made another trip to make up the difference. I found his responsiveness to be quite refreshing, and the transaction was very professional. I recommend him and would do business with him again.
