Highly over priced and poor quality. Left an exposed outlet dangling by wires as temporary power. The fix was a partly mounted outlet that would pull out of the box and trip the circuit breaker. Used lower rated wiring not best suited for outdoors. Improperly mounted ceiling boxes caused me to fail inspection. I have to pay another electrician to correct the issues and replace a breaker with a lower rating.

Very happy with the service. Mr. Hart figured out how to install the new service without tearing up any walls as had been suggested by other contractors. Highly recommended.

Very professional and hard working. Kept us informed every step of the way. Started on time, finished on time though there were some unexpected surprises. All fixed better than we expected.

I would love to be able to rate this local company higher but... We really enjoyed having the owner over. Very nice and knowledgeable. The workers doing the work did a very good job as well! Very happy with the work and the workers. The communication with whomever was supposed to answer the phone was horrible. It took call after call to get somebody to return my call. I almost hired another company (although I didn't want to start the whole process again). After several calls and many days later, I did receive a call. After work was done we gave Hart Electric a check and they gave us a receipt for the work done. A few weeks later we receive a bill in the mail for the work that was already paid. I immediately called the company (during the weekday during normal business hours), then called again leaving two messages. It's now been several days and I'm still waiting for a call. This company could really be great with better communication.

Electrician arrived on time, solved the two problems I had and was out in less than an hour. Only complaint is that company charges 3% for credit/debit card use. Cards are the norm now, this is just a cost of doing business.

Repaired all of the items specified in the home inspection.

They were very prompt, they have been following up with me, we have kept in touch, so I've been very happy with what I've asked for and the quote they have given me. I'm still holding on the project until I know where I want to go with it and when I want to go. I just got a new job and I want to make sure that I'm into the job a little bit before I start thinking about additions and changing my electric on a whim. It's nothing that is not a requirement for me. It's basically updating my electrical box and adding outlets outside of my house to support my Christmas decorations. The way my layout of my house is the front of my house is in conjunction with the outside of my room. During the holidays when you have the Christmas lights on the inside of the house and Christmas lights on the outside of the house, and the next thing you know, I turn on my TV and blow a circuit breaker on my house. They came out right on time and promptly responded to my call and inquiry. I had no problems with them at all. Everything's been top-notch and they've responded just like they said they would, and they got everything to my email account everything that I asked for with the price quote, and they've followed up with me. I would possibly use them again, but I can't guarantee it because there is always competitive pricing out there, but there's nothing wrong with them. They're very professional.

There was some issues with the installation; miscommunication or misunderstanding I am not sure. The technician had to come out two times to get the installation in correctly. The company was understanding and wanted us satisfied, I am just not sure why or how it was a difficult task.

It was great - I will definitely be calling them again for any electrical work I will need done in the future. The gentleman who came out were very professional and respectful. After they completed their work, they cleaned up completely.

I live in California but wanted the work performed on my son's home in Virginia Beach - he was deploying and I offered to help him and his family out by taking care of this work and paying for it. I found Hart Electric through Angie's list, and contacted Mr. Hart. He replied immediately, answered all of my questions, followed my request for how and when to get in touch with my daughter-in-law, showed up and did the estimate and then once contracted, did the work by the deadline I had requested. The work was well done, he was very professional, prompt and all is well. I would definitely recommend him for any of your electrical needs. And we really appreciated the military discount!

The workers helped out on everything I had a question on very good work ethic , happy with the results .definitely hiring in the near future.

Hart Electric was recommended by another electrician who was unable to fix the problem.  They came out the same day and determined the problem very quickly.  They spent at least two hours crawling underneath the house to re-wire/re-connect old wires.  I thought for sure it was going to cost a fortune but the price was reasonable.  The technicians were very knowledgeable and friendly.  I highly recommend them!

had to fish a new line through a tiled wall without damaging any tiles, reconnectef GFI and light switch,rehung ceiling fan and light then  cleaned up. Would highly recommend particularly with home that have knob and tube wireing

I contacted Hart Electric based on a friend's recommendation.  Kingsley told me in advance that they had work scheduled for the next couple of weeks, and made sure that it was not a problem before coming out to build the quote.
He arrived on time, and reviewed all of the work that I wanted which included 2 new circuits, and a lightpost repair.  He had a quote to me a little later in the day and I scheduled the work with him.
Two of his electricians came out exactly at the time scheduled, and began working.  Shortly after they started, they told me that the outlet I had though was not on it's own circuit actually was, and that I would not need to spend money to have that done since it was complete.
The technicians finished work, made sure that everything was as they found it, and billed the agreed on amount for one circuit, and the lightpost.  
I will definitely be hiring them again.

Mr. Hart was very professional.  He provided excellent advice and didn't try to push for more than what I needed.  His estimate was very reasonable and well within what I expected.  Would definately use his services in the future and recommend him to others.

The GFI switch in my main bathroom tripped and could not be reset. The outlet in the second bathroom did not work, either.  I chose Hart Electric from Angie's List and was very pleased that they could come out the same day; in fact, the technician called to let me know he could come earlier.  He spent a great deal of time trying to get to the root of the problem, because just changing out the switch with an updated GFI didn't work.  He even checked out the attic.  Finally, he determined that it was the double outlet on my deck, which must have gotten wet after the last storm.  He corrected that and very neatly caulked it to keep out the rain.  Scott was very patient and diligent in finding the problem.  I also appreciated the generous Angie's List discount.  Would certainly hire them for any future electrical problems.

They have done work for me on several occasions, always calls first to let you know he is coming and does good work.
