They are excellent. They mow every week, but I'm usually at work when they work.

Walter the owner is great guy.  They always do a great job.  This is an outstanding company.

So Far they have been great.

We have had Nueva Vista's lawn service for a few years now and are very pleased with their work. If there is ever a problem (rarely), we call Walter and the issue is resolved right away. We can depend on them to keep our lawn looking great each week.

Walter and his crew arrived a little later than expected due to traffic.  Very professional.  Cleared/removed weeds, grass, etc from stone patio, flower beds.
Weeds had grown between the stone pavers and they remove all of it.  The patio area looked like new when they had finished the job.
I would highly recommend this company.  I will definetly use them in the future.

Walter Hernandez was prompt in coming out to give an estimate for the job, which I thought was reasonable.  He showed up a week later as we had agreed upon with his four man crew.  They trimmed, mulched, planted and cleaned up the yard. They did an excellent job. Yes, I would hire them again.

It was a difficult decision to give up doing my lawn myself but I could not be happier I did. In my best days I did not do as good a job as Nueva Vista does week in and week out. We have a hill and lots of flower beds to work around and both look great every week.

They have done a variety of garden services for my wife like edging and brush removal and have always done a great job. My lawn is in good hands.

It was hard finding someone to mow our lawn before we moved out of our rental. It was the start of the summer season and other providers either didn't return my calls or said it wasn't worth it to service our property since it was small and a one-time job. These guys were professional. They returned my call, for one. And they did good work in a short amount of time. I'm pretty sure it was just one guy who came out to do it and he was done in like 30 minutes or less. It was great work, too.

Promptly responded to call requesting estimate for routine yard and garden maintenance. Walter was on time, very pleasant.  He looked around and we discussed what I was interested in.  He provided tips on watering and some information on an edging products that I was potentially interested in.  Took my email address and stated he would send an estimate. I thought I had found the service I have been looking for.  Unfortunately, I did not hear back from him and after a week I called and he said he was in the field but would get back to me that evening. I never did hear back from him.  Very disappointed in the lack of response.  If his lack of response was due to the fact he wasn't interested in doing the work, then he should have just stated so.  Just can't understand the lack of professionalism to ignore a potential customer.  Would not recommend for this reason.

I have used Walter @ Nueva Vista many times over the last years.  I am always happy with his work, and the fact that he takes on such a small job.  On time, pleasant, reasonably priced - Walter and Nueva Vista are the way to go.

The work this company provided was excellent! They came out yesterday and provided an estimate to me then returned today and performed the services in little under an hour.  Very professional and I am very pleased with the results.  They didn't rush to finished and took pride in their job.  They had a dumpster on site to collect all excess waste.

Relying both on my own previous experience with Nueva Vista as well as many Angie's List reviews, I called Walter at NV to lay down a considerable amount of mulch before the end of the week.  Walter came over to survey the landscaping and gave me some great advice regarding the types of mulch to use and why.  Nueva Vista arrived early in the morning.  I was not home, but Walter called me to let me know they were getting busy.  Later that afternoon, Walter called to say he was done, and we arranged a time later that day for him to come over for a joint inspection.  
The job was superb.  Walter and his crew exceeded my expectations and took many extra steps that were outside the scope of the job.  For example, they trimmed a few of my bushes, cleaned out a low hanging gutter, cleaned up a pile of brush that I have been putting off, and cleaned my driveway.  The mulching was top notch, they didn't just lay mulch around, they dug down to clearly delineate where the beds start and the lawn ends.  
Overall, the job was great.  Walter is a true professional and personally ensured I was happy with the job.  I highly recommend Nueva Vista!

I called the company on Friday requesting a gutter cleaning. The gentleman said he could come on Saturday around noon. This was great because all of the other places I called said they were booked for several weeks. He said he would call one hour before they came. On Saturday, at 12:30, I called to see what time they thought they were coming. The gentleman said 1:30pm. They didn't come until 3:30pm. It only took about 10-15 minutes which was good. And the price was very reasonable. However, I failed to check the work before they left. When I went out an hour later, I saw that they did not nail down our gutter net. I called back and told the gentleman, and he said they would return to fix it. They did and I was grateful.

Another year and another fully satisfied customer.  Walter and his crew are our only selection when it comes to spring cleaning for our flower beds.  They do excellent work for an excellent price.  Bewarned though - they book up fast when spring hits.  For any members that are concerned with their mulch; the leaf mulch is actually better for your plants and shrubs, and it holds color longer. 
Walter's crew is expeditious so I would recommend writing down the exact things you want to be performed.  Sadly Angie's List won't allow me to add additional pictures to my review.  I will upload at a later date if it happens to work.

Excellent..  They did an excellent job of mowing our lawn each week.

They did a high quality job with a crew of 5.  They were very professional in every way.  The carbonized leaf mulch they use looks much better that hardwood mulch and does a better job at suppressing weeds.   This is the second time I have used them and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

I thought I was getting a great deal for the mulch and edging. The workers worked hard and it looked great when they were done. But over time I started realizing that the mulch was just shredded leaves! They were disintegrating and by seasons end it was almost as if I didn't mulch my beds. When my husband came home from work to see the work he was livid. I thought at the time it was great so never complained and did not call them back. By winter the beds were pretty much clear of any mulch (leaves) they added.

The work he does is absolutely quality but he is not very responsive as far as responding to my inquiries and stuff like that. Once he gets his money he kind of forgets about you so you have to keep calling him. The quality of his work is outstanding, there is no question in my mind but to be honest kind of like if he needs you you keep asking your mind to clean your room.

How do you give a grade better than an A?  They answered the phone right away and were able to get me into the schedule the same day.  He arrived on time and was willing to let me watch so I could understand what was being done and ask questions about issues we had this summer.  Once warm weather returns, we will definitely be calling to have minor issues with the system addressed.
