We have been using A & G Tree Service for about 15 years. They are always timely and do a great job! As soon as I send Mike an email heâ s usually out the next day assessing the project. A few years ago a tree was struck by lightning during the night at a rental property. They were out first thing the next morning and everything was cleared away by the afternoon. I highly recommend them!

WOW - Mike was great. Searched on HomeAdvisor and read a bunch of reviews. Contacted a bunch of companies to ask for an estimate to remove a 40 foot, dead tree in the back of the yard. Later that afternoon, Mike calls -- he'd already been to the house, gave me an astoundingly excellent price, and then said he could do it the same day...again...WOW. Of course I had him do it, and he did a great job, exactly what we requested. Done and Done. Search no further, Mike is the man for your job.

The contractor removed my shrub but did not remove the roots or cleanup the debris. He was also very argumentative when asked to trim my crate myrtle branches shorter.

"From what I can recall we topped the Crepe Myrtle as we agreed and when you asked us to bring it down several more inches we complied with your request without acrimony. We removed the shrub and dug up the stump. We filled in the hole with some dirt and mulch that was within the bed. We would've gladly hauled that small amount of material off if you had wished. The stump and material from the shrub were hauled off. You had an underliner/weed block under the mulch, we tried to remove the small shrub without damaging it more than we had to. if you had asked us to pull up the weed block to get a few more spindly roots we would have gladly done that. We showed up at the specified time. The job was only for $200.00, its as low as we can charge for any job. Many companies that are licensed and insured will not do a job for less than five hundred. I'm sorry you were not happy with the work, I'm also not sure why we are hearing about this now, two months after the job was completed and why you made no attempt to contact us and work something out before you posted this review."

We were very pleased. Actually they removed two very large pine trees. Mike showed up at my requested time after 4 for the estimate. It was very reasonable, we requested to see his insurance papers which he had his insurer email us in a reasonable time. Mike called to schedule a start time & they showed up & really worked hard. It took longer than anticipated, but he always called to keep us in the loop. Bottom line we were very pleased w/ his service.🙂
