Good. The owner told me how much it would be to repair the second TV and also provided his "rule of thumb" on if it was worth repairing or just replacing. That was very helpful and appreciated instead of just taking my money.

I called Video Services of Virginia to schedule a service call for my broken TV and they were able to come to my home the very next day. Michael arrived at my home exactly on time for the service call. He spent approximately 30 minutes disassembling the TV and evaluating potential causes of the problem. I thought the amount of time he spent was reasonable to do a thorough and complete job of diagnostics. Michael determined that the main board in the TV was faulty and would need to be replaced. He searched for a replacement part both in nearby parts warehouses and on e-bay, and provided me with a credible estimate for performing the repair. Michael also gave me some good and honest advice in consideration of the repair costs on whether it was better to repair or replace the TV. I very much appreciated his advice. Ultimately I decided to not repair the TV and will be replacing it. Michael reassembled the TV and left the work area clean. Michael was very friendly and professional throughout the visit. I would definitely do business with him again.

Michael the owner of Video Services of Virginia was contacted by Mitsubishi (Extended Warrenty) to repair our 65and quot; TV. He called and set up an appointment to evaluate the problem, he came on time found the problem and reported it back to Mitsubishi, ordered the part and called when it came in. Came out to replace the part which was defective. Some thing didn't sit right with Mike so he did some checking with some of his associates and found out it was a different problem. He contacted Mitsubishi and ordered other parts. When they arrived he came out and did the repair. Great job! He took the time to research the problem. It was great to have a tech who acted on our behalf as the go between with the Mitsubishi Extended Warrenty people. If you want an honest, capable and reliable TV service use Video Servive Of Virginia. Call Mike

. The owner, Michael, arrived in the time window he identified, As often happens, the symptoms did not express themselves initially when the doctor was watching, however he did some troubleshooting based on our description of the issue. The set eventually did display the problem, and he indicated the repair would be 2X an new set the same size from LG, Samsung or Visio.
Suggested a call to Sony, which was done, but to no avail.
He indicated he would do a new TV set up for $119, applying the service call as a credit to the set up cost. Pretty good deal.
A new LG has been ordered, and Michael will be asked to do the set up.

video service came out to my home fit my toshiba tv and about three weeks stop working and i came call them back and didnot come back
Response from VIDEO SERVICES OF VIRGINIA
"Service for this customer was completed October 2012 for a no power issue. There was no cost to the customer since this unit was covered by an extended warranty policy. Three weeks after the completed service, the customer called with a different problem (no video signal) and it was explained to them that they must call the administrator of their extended warranty to generate a new service request. We finally received a new service request for a January 25, 2013 appointment. Spoke with the customer and after confirming the problem explained that we would be ordering a part for their unit and once the part arrived we would call to schedule the installation of the part. This second service event is still in an open status and will be resolved once the part arrive and is installed. Not sure why this negative review has been posted, but the facts stated by the customer are inaccurate and could be considered slanderous."

My Vizio TV lost its video, but the audio still worked. I thought it was feasible to repair the TV, and called this company, leaving a voicemail. I didn't hear back for a day or two and called again, this time getting a prompt call back after a voicemail. I provided the TV's make and model over the phone, and the company owner, Michael Gorbett, explained his house call charge ($89, which would be applied to the final cost if he did any repair work). Michael came over at the agreed date and time, and troubleshot the problem to a defective main PCB assembly. He was very meticulous in his work, and careful to lay a pad on the floor before he laid the tv down to work on it. He told me what the part would cost, and I agreed to it. Michael ordered the part, and came over on Sept 22 to install it. Once again, he was very careful and got the part installed quickly. I wrote him a check for the remainder of his work, and he asked if we needed any help transferring a TV we'd brought downstairs back up the stairs. I thanked him for his offer but declined. The warranty on his repair is 90 days, parts and labor. Overall I'm satisfied with the service, but thought the labor charges ($249 of the $464)were a tad high. Still, I was glad to find someone who would come and repair my TV in my home, as the TV is too big for me to take somewhere for service.
