J & K Property Management

I've been a renter most my life. I've lived in PA, VA, FL,Tx and OR. J&K Property Management is by far the worse management co. I've ever dealt with. My payments have never been late in 3 years now. The building is infested with termites, the siding is falling off, the roof is leaking IN the kitchen and varmints are living in the walls.The city did an inspection documenting multiply violations and nothing is being done. Jackie has my phone number blocked and won't answer my e-mails. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANY.

We hired Jackie to manage our rental property in May of 2012.
When the tenant's one year lease was up, she "could not find a renter" for two months. We drove from NH to VA to see what was up with the property. It was trashed. Below is an excerpt from her termination letter.

"You made little effort to attract and retrain tenants. I have emails
from two prospective tenants stating that you were rude, uncommunicative, and
unresponsive. They stated they would not rent from us because they did not want
to deal with you.
You advertised the property in only two places (your website and
Craigslist), causing me to place advertisements in four websites (one at my own
cost) to generate inquiries. You were slow to reply to me, unwilling to show
the property to a potential client, and discouraged one other from renting
because you told her she could not paint (and you never asked me about
it). 
You failed to keep our property up to the standard it was when we signed
the contract. I have photos of what the yard looked like when we left and what
it looked like today when Marshell arrived.  
The yard is completely destroyed, sticks not picked up, grass overgrown
in the gravel driveway and in the gardens. The house is filthy, full of
cobwebs, dirt, sticks and grime. You did not follow through with the lawn
mowing and weeding as I repeatedly requested both via text and via email. I
requested it to be mowed in early August and you did not comply. You told me
this past Friday the lawn was mowed and it was not; the lawn was mowed Saturday
as witnessed by my neighbors.
Furthermore, your employee mowed my flower beds to the ground, which he
or she did not have authorization to do. You are liable for damages to the
property as a result. It is no wonder no one rented the house because, despite
my repeated requests for you to manage the property, you did not and it looks
awful. This is not best efforts or proper management and upkeep. "

You get what you pay for. This woman is lazy and has no concern for your property. Don't hire her.
