RVA Lawn Care has provided our home with an array of services. We have continuous lawn maintenance from RVA LC, and we continue to see great results from their work. We most often use their lawn cutting service, however they have also removed trees and leaves from the property, and have also cleaned out our gutters.

Justin and the RVA Lawncare Company came to our rescue!!! With a last minute request on service for 5 weeks, while I had to attend a military school out of state. Management was courteous and professional on the email traffic, phone conversation and during the meet and greet at the property. Price was friendly to our pocket as I was shopping around with many other lawn companies. RVA Lawncare went above and beyond what I had expected of just mowing, edging, weed trimming and blowing. They actually removed most of the leaves and debris that was laying all over the property from the winter months. I live in Woodlake and if you are from this area, you know exactly how much the leaves fall into the ground and on your property in this community. Bottom line, my family and I are extremely satisfy with the company and the service provided. If I can give them more than 5 out of 5 Stars, I would. It's hard to find good business these days and yet I have found one.

The crew works together efficiently. I've used this company three times now. When they were less familiar with the yard, they missed mowing a section. I let the owner know and he sent them back promptly to finish the job. My yard has a steep hill and has always been problematic, so it's nice to know I have reliable people to take care of it for me at a reasonable cost.

Justin came out to my property a week ahead of time to do a walkthrough with me and give me an estimate. His price was far better than the competitors, and you could tell that he was knowledgeable and understood the job. He also communicated it well to his crew, as I was away from the house when they started, but I came back to a fantastic job (they were still working). They asked for me to check through the work they had done already to make sure that it was up to my standards (there was so much poison ivy to begin with). Throughout each communication, they were friendly, courteous, kind (especially to my kids who were so enthralled with their work), and hard-working. Afterwards, I was able to talk to them for a few minutes about an idea for our yard to make it more kid-friendly and manageable. The entire experience made it seem like I was talking to friends, as they gave me advice for what they would do if it was their property, and it was obvious that they weren't trying to sell me on anything. This is a company that does good, hard work in a timely manner and takes pride in their work. We will absolutely be calling them again.

I have a yard guy that I use that I get from Angie's List.  His name is Justin.  The name of the company is RVA Lawn Care.  I've actually used him about three times now because they do a good job.  The last time they were here was the beginning of March 2016. 

I'm a single , retired 69 yr old woman who relies on my SS to cover expenses and I'm not in the best health. I need quality services to take care of many things. RVA does a great job of making my front and back yards look really good at, by today's standards, a really reasonable price...and I get the feeling that Justin and his guys care just as much about how my property looks as they do about bigger properties they take care of!

I am very pleased with the way my yard looks now! The owner and his crew do a much better job than the company I had been using and they do it for the same price. One less thing to worry about:)

Our initial contact with RVA was pleasant.  The owner was very responsive to our request for an estimate.  He arrived on time and we walked him around the property explaining our expectations. (He even took several pictures, which was very impressive) We were looking for someone to clean leaves and debris (pine cones, gumballs, twigs, sticks, etc.) off our yard and surrounding areas on a weekly basis. We have woods that surround our property that all of it could easily be blown into, so we thought it a reasonable request. A big concern of ours was that the gravel should not be blown into the yard or wooded area, and if they did to please blow it back where it belongs (we certainly understand we're all human).  RVA provided service for us a total of 5 times (3 clean up only-$60 and 2 clean up and lawn mowing-$90).  After each time we pointed out missed areas - nothing major, but details we didn't want overlooked on future visits. Examples: Gravel in the yard/wooded area, blowing off front and back deck/patio, leaves piled in our monkey grass, and gumballs and sticks in the ditch

After the 4th time a phone conversation was had with the owner.  We asked that he come back so we could walk him around the property again so that expectations were clear and all parties were on the same page. During the visit he implied that he would be on the job with the crew the following week.  He acknowledged that the 3-man crew should be able to deliver the results we were looking for.  It was also pointed out that his employees were smoking on the job, and they rode over a gravel pile with the mower...in an area where he shouldn't have had the mower...slinging gravel where it should not be. (They did not return to correct this, we had to)

As a side note: the 47 year old man of the house is a retired professional landscaper for 10+ years. He has performed the task within a shorter period of time, than what 3 employees and the owner could do, and made it look better.  The owner commented "I'm sure you did to a better job". We didn't expect anything more from he or his crew that we could not deliver ourselves (and have).

The 5th service date was today, and not only did the owner NOT show up while the crew was here or stop by afterwards (there was someone home all day), one of the employees was seen urinating in the back wooded area of our property (not exactly professional).  Furthermore, the crew must not have been clear on the expectations laid out to the owner, as they didn't really seem to care about being here.  Midway through the visit the foreman was approached and made aware of some missed areas/items.  He replied with "we're not done yet".  That would have been acceptable however, within 5 minutes they were in the truck leaving.

We are not pleased with the service level provided.  We spent a great deal amount of time explaining our expectations.  However, after each visit there were things we still had to take care of.  It grieves us to pay for service then have to clean up after the company you hire to perform that service.  If the job was too much to handle, that was a conversation we should have had.

Justin and his team were fantastic.  After coming a few weeks before to provide an estimate, they arrived early on the date of service so they could park their equipment.  Afterwards the team got right to work.  All I had to do was do a quick check when they were finished and write the check.  The cost was the same as the estimate and they cut the lawn without charge (which wasn't in the scope of the work).  The lawn looks fantastic and I will likely use their services in the future.

My wife and I were EXTREMELY pleased with the work that Justin and his crew did on our yard.  We hired them to remove the leaves.  They did a Very thorough job, and left the yard looking better than it has in quite some time. We will certainly plan on hiring them next year for the same service and may proceed with additional yard services with them too.
