This was a difficult job for our team because there were so many areas within each room that you requested that we not clean. Because you opted to have only partial parts of the rooms cleaned as apposed to a complete cleaning room by room, you would have still seen dust in areas. Thank you for taking the time to review your experience during your recent Spring Cleaning. April left a voicemail message for you yesterday to make arrangements to drop off a replacement piece of glass for your picture frame. Our Cleaning Associates make every effort to take care when cleaning the items in your home. Because we hand -dust with a cloth, sometimes these things happen. But when they do, we make every effort to replace or repair items as mentioned above. I apologize that the picture was left askew. Cathy (your lead Cleaning Associate) mentioned that you had told her your Grandson would be coming to fix that because it had been askew for some time now. That's why she didnot attempt to straighten it herself. Please return April's call (804-330-0270) when you get a chance so she can discuss these items as well as answer any questions you may have regarding the cleaning time. The second Cleaning Associate had to leave because she had only arranged to stay for the agreed 4 hour cleaning and was unable to work over. The total cleaning time for your appointment was 8.78 man hours. You were not charged for the additional time the team worked over the purchased 8 man hours. They made every effort to get through as much of your home as they could; but as explained during the walk-through; a home of your size usually takes up to 10 - 16 man hours to complete a Spring Cleaning. We would be happy to scheduled a second appointment to clean the area that was not covered by your Big Deal certificate. Thank you again for trusting us to care for your home cleaning. Dear [member name removed], We are very dismayed to hear that you were unhappy with your spring cleaning. Our office manager did mentioned that she spoke to you today and that you declined accept our 100% guarantee offer to come back to view and re-clean the areas of your concern. I understand that it may be inconvenient to take the time to have us visit again. It is very difficult to address these concerns without seeing the areas, however I will share with you the feedback from our Manager, Michelle. We were aware that 1 of the cleaners was a little slow, however her work is usually very good. We did try to compensate for her lack of speed by having our Field Manager (and most efficient, thorough cleaner) lead the team. We also went over the cleaning time you were charged for and did not charge you for the overage. Regarding the shower area: Michelle said that you had requested to use the shower while we were still working in that room. Were your comments about the shower from observations before we returned to complete that room? Michelle confirmed that she checked the entire bathroom before leaving that afternoon and did not observe any unfinished work in the shower area. Regarding the bookshelves; we do promise to "pickup and move" when we dust with the exception of books on a bookshelf. Michelle cleaned the built in bookshelves in the upstairs hallway herself; she reported removing all items and even washing & drying the bookshelf before putting the items back. There is also a bookshelf in your office that was brought to my attention. She confirmed that she did remove all trophies and pictures to dust. They also hand-washed the wood floors in that room and the dining room to be sure there was no dust or pet hair left. We normally only mop these areas. We thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We do make it our top priority to always "over-deliver" on our promises and I'm sorry you feel that we under-delivered. It would be very helpful if you find the time to share with us where you found these "untouched" areas. Michelle was very confident that she checked behind all areas of the house and she was very surprised that you were displeased; especially because [member name removed] told them they did an "excellent job". Although Michelle has never received a complaint and guarantees her work; I know that your perception of the service is what matters. Any additional information you could share to help us understand why you feel the service you received deserved a "D" rating would be very much appreciated. We would like to still extend the offer to visit your home again this week to correct any work that you feel wasn't done well. Lastly, you mentioned that you did not receive a followup call. April did call and leave a message Monday (2 business days after the cleaning). She normally calls the next day, so I apologize if she called later than you expected.
