Installation took about 2 weeks due to incompetence of crew. Ordered wrong size, hooked it up wrong, etc etc. Had to request a window unit put in while parts were supposedly on order. Promised free annual maintenance but never showed up or contacted me. The duct work they did was literally falling apart and the filter was not installed properly. It was in general, a mess. Therefore, I called twice for service in Fall, 2014, scheduled TWO appointments (leaving work early both times) and they did not show up nor did they call to say they could not make the appointment. Check their BBB rating as well. Wish I did. I went with their lower price and have regretted it since day one. I feel like I have given them multiple chances to "make good" on their product and service. I am DONE with this company and am now paying a 2nd company to fix their problems.

Said he would come on certain day/time. Never showed, never called. I had to call & hound him. Took advantage of my insurance company saying he did things I know he DID NOT. Horrible experience. Shoddy workmanship.

Alliance Air and Duct was contracted by a warranty company that I have to replace our AC unit that was leaking. This company is horrible with communication and does not return your calls. I was without AC for 3 weeks in June waiting for the new unit to come in and have it installed. Once they finally installed the new unit, it was done poorly and inefficiently. They tightened the evap coil so much that they crimped it 80% shut, preventing a smooth refrigerant flow. One week later, our AC stopped working. The company again did not return our calls and was okay with leaving us for another weekend without AC. At this point I called a different company to come fix what Alliance Air and Duct had done. It cost $1100 to have the new unit installed correctly by a different company. I would not trust Alliance Air and Duct for any work needing to be done!

we are so sorry for what you went through. we are a small company with only a few crews. We were over worked at that time ( which i know is not an excuse) and that would be why the lack of communication was there. We have hired another office person to help in the office and have a new crew again. I know this is no reason for this and we are truly sorry for the experience you had with us.

They NEVER fixed anything but kept saying they were coming. Worst service I have encountered in my life-----and I am 50. Horrid.

They have promised everything and done nothing! I have been dealing with them for 8 days now----July 2--July 8. They inspected my unit and it frozen and low on coolant. They turned it off overnight and said they would come back in the am to charge it and fill it with coolant. No one came. They they said they had to do a leak test and found leaks (mine is an older R-22) so they recommended a new unit. I agreed and they promised I would have it Monday. Sunday they left a voice mail saying it would be Tuesday. Four times today I have called them and each time they were coming. It is now 4: 23 and my home still has no AC. These people need to be put out of business as they are scam artists. I will let the BBB know all of this.

This is closely related to an issue I have with All About Appliances & More which was purchased by this company. Last April (2013), the technician came to look at my dishwasher because it wasn't cleaning the dishes properly. It was decided that there was a pump motor (more specifically the capacitor). I was told the capacitor was not sold separately, but part of the whole pump motor assembly. I was told by the technician that he might be able to buy just the capacitor & could install it saving me money. The dishwasher would still work as long as I spun the motor manually to get it started, so the technician left witht the promise of getting back to me about the part in question. he even advised he would return free of another service fee to install the part. the following week I called to see if he was able to find the part separate from the pump motor assembly; I never got a return call. I waited a month & called again with no response. I called periodically since then, but never got a call back. 10 mos later, my wife & I decide we'll just buy a new dishwasher since we were told the cost of repairing the one we have is as costly as replacing it. Out of curiosity, I checked to see how much the part would cost; less than $150. I called the number from my receipt to find out that this company bought the previous company. The technician came out again (same guy) to install the new part I ordered. He spent 30-45 mins trying to see if he could get it to work without installing the new part; again, trying to save me money. i advised him that I appreciated the effort to save me money, but at this point i just wanted it fixed. He installed the part, but unfortunately found a leak in my intake line. He said he would have to have someone else fix the leak. One week later, & I still don't have installed a working dishwasher. We had snow on the day they were scheduled to install. It was rescheduled 2 days later. I recieved a call on that day advising that they had people out sick, but they would try to work me in that day because I had company coming in a few days. I was told they would stay in touch with me throughout the day. My wife & I never received a call from them that day & we still don't have the appliance installed. I am furious! When I called to discuss this with the scheduler/owner(?), I heard the other owner/technician saying I should just call someone else. My first issue is with the fact that the first technician I met never got back with me about the part. My next issue is with the fact that the company that bought the previous one has made little effort to fix the situation. I am not upset about having to wait a few days for the intake line replacement & install. I am upset because I get an excuse everytime I call them as to why my dishwasher still has not been installed. I can understand weather playing a role although I myself had to report to work that day. I can understand staff getting sick, too; however, rescheduling jobs due to sick staff points towards poor management & inadequate staffing for the workload this company has taken on. Obviously, my issue is not a priority for them as they have advised they have people on other jobs at the moment. My suspicion is that these other jobs come with a bigger payoff. i am deeply disappointed with these guys & very upset that they have continued to fail in meeting my expectations; expectations based on what they have advised me about their schedule.

We were experiencing plumbing issues in our house on 2/2/14 and we contacted our home owners insurance and they contacted Alliance Air and Duct. They came out to the house that afternoon because as we explained to them on the phone, all of our plumbing in the house was backing up into our downstairs bath tub. We could not flush or run water without it backing up into the house. When they arrived they looked under the crawl space of the house and tried to find the outside cleanout pipe. They couldn't find the clean out pipe after about 15 minutes of looking and digging. After about 25 minutes at the house they said we had a busted water main due to tree roots. They came to this conclusion without snaking the pipe BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. They told us it would cost $3,300.00 to fix it on top of the $75.00 fee to give us the estimate. We spent several hours talking to our credit card companies trying to figure out how to pay this since it wasn't covered under our insurance. We told Larry, who was the owner of Alliance, that we could only come up with $2,000.00. He was very nice and told us that he would finance the rest and we could just pay him as we were able to, which was really very nice of him. Friends and relatives convinced us to get another company to do a second estimate. We called Mr. Rooter who came out a few hours later. THIS company found our external cleanout pipe immediately and he snaked the pipe right away. As he was doing this I asked what was wrong with the plumbing. He said he wouldn't know anything until he snaked the pipe. I watched him put a 20 foot snake down the main water pipe and as he pulled it out he explained that there was grease all over the snake which means there is a grease clog. He said there was no way it was a busted water main due to trees because when he pulled the snake out there was no tree roots on there. There was also no sewage in the yard and no excess water. He billed us $250.00. We contacted our insurance and explained this whole thing to them and as it turns out the grease clog was covered under "normal wear and tear" whereas the misdiagnosed busted water main would not have been. We are so glad we called Mr. Rooter!!

We had contacted the AC company with whom we had a service contract when our AC stopped working on the hottest days of the summer so far (temps in the low 100's), the soonest they could come out to check our units was three days. We called Arctic Air who informed us that it was a busy day but they would fit us in that evening. TJ Dean did come out that evening--arriving initially around 8:30 pm on a Friday night to inspect our units. On finding the capacitors were not working, he then left to retrieve parts--AND RETURNED AT 10 PM THAT EVENING TO FIX OUR UNITS!!!! We unfortunately lost power around that time so he was unable to finish the job--so TJ came back on SATURDAY NIGHT when we called to tell him power was restored to finish fixing the units. All of this took place on a weekend at and all times we were able to reach someone on the phone. And the service charge for THREE visits to our home on TWO weekend nights was eighty five dollars--unbelievably reasonable! We are so thankful to Arctic Air for keeping our home livable for our family in extreme heat and will be customers for life!
