Benigno & Edwin were very professional. They did a great job cleaning up the exterior of the house and painted the outsides. They finished the job in shorter time than they anticipated and were very reasonable in price. Very reliable service !!

This is the second time we've used Loayes Painting. We were so pleased with their work the first time that we had them return to do additional work. We were once again pleased with the quality and attention to detail in their work. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Scheduling the appointment was easy enough - I'd reached someone's cell phone and was booked almost immediately. The employee that arrived to provide the estimate was ~30 minutes late, though he did call at his scheduled time to let me know. He was done with the quote fairly quickly, asked me to print my email address at which to send the quote, and I never heard back from him, or the company.

They guy who came to give the estimate was about 20 minutes late. When he arrived, he was very polite, answered all my questions and was very knowledgable. The only problem was that he gave me a sky high estimate! It was more than the next estimate by $800. So, even though they seemed like a great company, I couldn't justify paying that kind of money when other people were offering the same service for a lot less money.

We had some serious damage from one of the blizzards that created an ice dam in our gutter leading to some melting of ice in through cracks, damaging dry wall, insulation and our basement rug. We received 3 bids and Loayes was the best, and they did a good job. The final payment came in about 10% above the original quote, but essentially for understandable reasons, including our adding painting of a section or two, so my only quibble is not much of a quibble at all, they still were probably more affordable and were more convenient (worked Saturday, and were prompt, friendly and easy to work with) than the other options. They did a great job, my wife and I are happy with the results: new basement carpet and padding installed, drywall and insulation replaced in kitchen, freshly painted kitchen.

Great - Benigno was very prompt every time I contacted him (answered emails in minutes sometimes), came out right on time to provide the estimate, provided the estimate quickly, picked up the paints, started promptly and ended the project ahead of schedule. I had just had my floors redone, and so was paranoid about getting paint on them - I didn't have to worry. He's very neat and straightened up at the end of each day. Very pleasant. I would definately recommend him to friends and will use him again.

Loaye's Painting came quickly, gave us an estimate immediately, and did the work shortly thereafter. They were efficient, polite, and responsive. Plus, they charged us half of what another company estimated.

I spent about $2500 on this job. They did an excellent job. They cleaned up after themselves, were very neat, showed up on time and got right to work.

At first, we couldn't have been happier. Benigno and his crew showed up every day and showed up on time. The one time he was late he called to let me know. We thought he was doing a great job and kept finding more and more projects. One issue we noticed was that the work got sloppier over time. The first project, the drywall job was excellent. By the time that he finished all the projects, I just wanted him gone. After we contracted with him for the larger projects, not only did his work get sloppier but he also started to nickel and dime us for every little thing... for example, he charged extra to caulk around our new bathroom vanity or extra for a washer for the plumbing or extra for mortar the tiling and various other surprise 'extras' that added up to a lot of money. The worst part of this entire experience is that now, 13 months later, both bathrooms are leaking, we have mold growing in the bathrooms due to incorrectly installed bath fans, we've had to re-do all of the plumbing that he put in and the drywall is terribly wavy and we've had to rip it out. We've had to tear out nearly all of the work that he did for us and pay to have it redone correctly. I would never, ever recommend using this guy for anything. Come to think about it, I wouldn't let this guy anywhere near my house if I could do it all over again!!! Don't walk away from this guy, RUN!!!

I cannot express how impressed I am with Benigno and the other workers from Loayes Painting. When Benigno was creating the estimate I asked him not to paint the laundry room because it was a very small area and he would have had to move the washer and dryer in order to do so. When I went to pay Benigno after the work had been completed, he showed me that he painted the laundry room for free. The quality of his work is absolutely amazing and I wish that I did not have a renter already lined up for the unit or I would have considered moving into the unit. Benigno arrived on time to provide me with an estimate and he and his workers arrived on time in order to begin the work.

It went great from beginning to end. They do wonderful work..everything looks terrific. Cooperative, helpful and just a pleasure to work with.

Excellent work. Cleaned up well. Went above and beyond in some cases. We hired them to paint the trim and where necessary, to make it match, they painted entire doors. As for the ceilings and patch in the stairwell, you can't even tell there were any repairs. Seamless. Will totally use them again!

Edwin came out and gave us an estimate the morning after we called him. I thought the price was fair. He and his team of 2 others came out within a week. The work took 2 days which was exactly what he quoted. The work was well done and we are very pleased. I was in my home most of the time and they were courteous and respectful. They even touched up some areas that i had not asked them to do.

Edwin originally calculated the job might take four days. However, given the condition of the walls and the shambles left from the previous "painter," it took six days. However, Edwin stuck to the original price quoted. The only up-charges resulted from discovery that some of the walls needed extra patching. I highly recommend this company.

Mr. Benigno came by the day after I called him to see the job and give me an estimate. He was very clean and professional. I showed him the shower and told him I wanted all of the grout removed and regrouted correctly to correct the problem. He emailed me an estimate that evening and started the job the following week. His people were neat and curtious. I feel they did an excellent job and would reccomend them to others. In fact, I plan to have him paint the kitchen ceiling where the water leaked along with a couple of other ceilings in my house as soon as I can find the time. He gave me an estimate for that job and I am very satisfied with that estimate and the work they performed.

punctual, polite, courteous, reliable, finished on time. Beningo and his partner cleaned up after themselves and did the job well. The only glitch was that I was charged an extra $150 unexpectedly when they encountered plaster they needed to remove and haul out.

A previous contractor did a terrible job replacing trim around some doors in our basement as part of a mold remediation job, so we hired Beningo to replace the trim and repaint it. Beningo and one other worker arrived on time and did a great job replacing the trim. They also went around and recaulked and repainted many of the other interior doors in the basement, which I considered above and beyond what they were asked to do. They worked diligently for almost an entire day. Well worth the price!

We found LOAYES PAINTING on Angies List and he was rated as one of the top painting contractors in our area. I met with Edwin Loayes about two weeks ago for an estimate (I obtained estimates from two other contractors as well). Edwin was very professional (even removed his shoes without prompting from me upon entering our home), reviewed the work and provided a detailed written estimate. His estimate included the 10% discount from Angies List without my even having to ask for it! After reviewing all three bids, we choose to go with LOAYES PAINTING. I contacted Edwin last week and he told me he could start on Monday. They arrived on time, covered our hardwood floors with drop cloths, sanded all the walls, removed old caulk and replaced with new, and masked everything that needed to be protected. Edwin estimated 2 days for the work and they completed on time, and did an excellent job of cleaning up. Total price for the work was exactly what he estimated. I would highly recommend LOAYES PAINTING. We plan on using his service again in the very near future.

Called for an estimate. Very prompt getting back to me. Scheduled estimate for Saturday, but due to snow they called and rescheduled for the following week. Very impressed that they were able to start work day after estimate and that they were willing to take on a smaller job. Showed up on time, very polite. Patched, sanded, and painted stairway going to second floor and second floor hallway. Stairway has extremely high ceilings and they did a very good job dealing with the height. Completed job in a day. Did a pretty good job protecting our new wood floors. Would hire again. The only thing I would change is how they do contracts. Ours was written on the back of a business card. I was a little nervous about this, but they followed through on everything included in contract.

The project went exactly as estimated by Mr. Loayes. I added several things along the way as well has changing paint color midway but none of this was problem. Loayes Painting adjusted the price based on my changes to the original estimate. There were no hidden or added charges that were not agreed to first before the work commenced. A good portion of time was spent prepping the surfaces--old filler was taken out and redone, walls were sanded and filled if needed. The holes left by the electrician and plumber (many) were drywalled. The carpentry work was beautifully done. The crown, chair, and under chair molding was finished expertly. Mr. Loayes employees arrive early and work a full day. They work fast but not sloppy. Every day their work space was swept, vacuumed and tidied up.

They came when they said they would come and did a good job. I have no complaints against them.

Timely estimate day after contact thru Angie's list, agreed to terms and paint colors, started and finished the job on schedule, did a great job cleaning up afterwards.
