George was very punctual and performed his inspection in a very professional manner. He was able to explain aspects of the home I was unsure of and was very patient. He was extremely knowledgeable and glad to share that knowledge. I was very pleased and felt confident that he pointed out any deficiencies. I felt it was money well spent.

Great - gave us a descriptive booklet on how to care for the house. Detailed what needed to be fixed. Showed my husband little pointers around the house on things that we could fix up if we purchased it.

After the inspection portion was completed, George spent a lot of time going over the report and all of the areas of concern. I give George and his company my highest recommendation. He will be the inspector we use when we need a home inspection for our new home.

Mine is a house built in the mid-60's. I have lived in it for 32 years and it has never been inspected. While I thought we had done a fairly good job in maintenance, I felt as if at 40+ years the house needed a check up as would a human of the same age. George and I played telephone tag for several days, but he persevered and once we connected I was able to schedule the inspection for two days later. George is pleasant and professional. He wanted me present while he looked over the HVAC, water heater, and electrical units. He provided tips on ways to improve their performance and cut down on the chance of mold in the ducts. He even wrapped my water heater with wrapping I had recently purchased, but had not put on, awaiting the inspection! Fortunately he did not find many major problems, but for those he found he explained why they were a problem and what would be needed to rectify them. In the end he gave me two copies of his report, one for me and one for any service people I might hire for repairs. In addition I received a "My Home Inspection Report" that covers the minor and major problems by type and location in the house. It includes much reference material pertaining to possible house problems. I feel a now have a handle on what needs to be done and schedule repairs by necessity and cost over the coming months and years.

George returned my call promptly. He came the next day. His inspection was much more thorough than the previous inspector, examining both inside the house and outside. He identified for me the source of the water damage. Several of the solutions were very simple. His suggestions for some other work were also extremely helpful. I would definitely call him again and recommend him to others.

I found Georges number from another listing company (before I signed up for Angie's List). He called me about 30 minutes after I left a message for him. I asked him a few questions. "Will you check out my roof? Will you tell me the life expectancy of our major appliances?".etc. George said yes to it all, was easy to talk to from the beginning and seemed to know what he was talking about! I set up an appointment with him to inspect our potential home in 2 days, he said it wasn't a problem. Because the home we were trying to purchase was "bank owned," time was of the essence and were given just 7 days to get our inspection done. I double checked with George to make sure that he would for certain be able to make it and to please call me ASAP if he felt for any reason he may not be able to make it. He assured me that in 7 years he's never missed an inspection and that for the future, I should know that he would be available for any of my questions from 10 am to 10 pm, 7 days a week, 365 ( can't remember if it was exactly 10 am to 10 pm, but was some ridiculous amount of availability)! From that moment on, I was like "this guy is serious about his business!" I met George at the townhouse at the time we planned to on the day we planned to. He was even more genuine in person! I brought my whole "crew" with me ( mother, father, father-in-law to be and real estate agent). He greeted them each politely and honored all of their questions throughout the entire inspection! The main things I found pleasing about my experience with George was that it was apparent that he enjoyed what he did, knew what he was talking about, and was going to be honest. I definitely felt that he was on my team. I learned that I was lucky enough to have found a home with no major problems but several minor problems. George even gave feedback on what things he thought should be taken care of first, pointers on where to go to get the services needed (Angie's List), but was sad to hear that I could not use his contracting company due to a conflict of interest (which he honestly shared with me). I would definitely use Georges building company for an upgrade on a bathroom or in the kitchen... When we get house and money!

If you are a real estate investor or someone who just wants to add value to his/her house, you must work with Home Trust Inspections. This company was highly recommended to me by my real estate agent. The owner of the company, George Pembleton, is phenomenal. As a home inspector, he is very thorough, reliable and he knows his stuff. Plus, he is there for you when you have follow up questions and explains things in layman terms. Now for those of you who are investors, you really get a bang for your buck with HTI because not only do you get a great home inspection, but you also essentially get a FREE consultant to help you with your flip. George is a licensed contractor and an experience real estate investor himself so he really knows how to add value to your house. I'm as unhandy as they come but George helped me with my first investment and I had it up and under contract in under a month and I made a very healthy profit. I'm working on my second investment now and I would never consider doing it without an inspection and consult from George.

George did a very nice job for us. He was on time, explained everything very clearly, walked up through each phase of the inspection and left us with a very handy book to use. He was polite and friendly.

It was great! George Pembleton spent two hours with us, going over everything in the house with a fine-toothed comb. He explained how all the systems worked (HVAC, air filter, etc.) and showed us the good, the bad and the ugly of the house. He wrote everything down in a book which serves as a homeowners' manual and in general made us feel very comfortable about the deal we were about to enter into. He told us to call him any time - day or night - and we did follow up with one phone call. He is very friendly, professional, was completely on time and frankly gave us the least expensive quote on the home inspection. I would definitely recommend him again - and I already have!
