It found out it wasn't after we had a big rain storm. I called Roofer 911 and they got back to me in minutes. Within an hour Steve was at my house and quickly diagnosed the problem which was bad lumber under the vent cap on the roof and a inefficient sealing of the joints near it. . He had his crew out to my house within two hours and after a few hours the job was completed. Just in time because within two hours we had a bad storm. Everything seems fine now. I'd highly recommend Roofer 911 and will most definitively use them again if I need a roofing repair.

He was responsive and called me the same day I purchased the deal. It was useful and gave me some answers. I was looking for the source of 2 roof leaks. He gave me a surprising answer to one of them and then the other leak, he was not able to trace the source to. He was also able to help me get a better idea/status of insulation and air leakage from a wall in my kitchen. Some observations around the technology that he used... he mentioned that it's more effective inside. Outside the sun degrees could change the temperature to the infrared devise; it overwhelms it.

I called Roofer911 on a Saturday morning and my call was answered immediately. Steven was at my house with in an hour. He had a written proposal and cost estimate (with photos) emailed to me within 20 minutes of inspecting the roof and siding on my house. I was able to agree to the work, pay for it on the spot and I had the work repaired that day (a Saturday). This was a siding repair from improper installation years ago that was causing problems with a new roof. Roofer911 was so responsive that I cannot say enough positive things regarding his assistance.
Steve is one of the best customer service tradesmen I've dealt with in a long time. I wish I had met him several years ago he would have saved me a lot of stress. :).

Steve repaired my roof a year ago and did a great job explaining what the issue was and doing the repairs. I had several repairs to my roof before Steve fixed it and the repairs by the previous contractors failed because shingles continued to become loose. Once Steve repaired the shingles, I have not had a loose one since! Recently, I needed a copy of the receipt for the repair because I am selling the townhouse. I couldn't find the copy and I contacted Steve who provided a copy to me the same day! I would definitely use this company again for future service if needed. Thanks again Steve!

He fixed the leak. It has rained since then and the leak is definitely fixed. Considering the age of my house and the condition of my roof, I'll probably be calling him back in the future. If you are looking for a roofer, you should give this one a try.

Steve was extremely responsive, successfully found our leak, and went above and beyond to investigate some non-roofing issues for us.
We discovered our roof was leaking into our kitchen during a heavy storm on a Thursday. Steve offered to come out that Sunday, so we bought the Angies List Big Deal. He used the infrared camera to thoroughly inspect our kitchen ceiling, noting wet spots above the drywall that we couldn't see. Steve correctly identified that the flashing around one of our dormers was the source of the leak. We subsequently used Roofer 911 to fix the flashing and have had no problems since (this work is covered under a separate review).
As part of the inspection, Steve also went around the rest of the house to identify any other leaks. He found a few more signs of dampness, and after inspecting our exterior, diagnosed that our gutters needed to be adjusted (their pitch was off, and they probably needed cleaning). I mentioned our basement had also been leaking. He used the IR camera to inspect our basement walls, and concluded that the leakage was related to the gutter issue. We had Roofer 911 fix this issue too, and yes, our basement stopped leaking.
While inspecting the house, Steve pointed out that the attic above our third floor (which is inaccessible) appeared to be missing large swaths of insulation. As a result, I had a separate company conduct an energy audit, which found that insufficient attic insulation was the source of wild temperature swings and high humidity in the house.
The Big Deal ended up being invaluable. We really liked working with Steve, who is clearly skilled in interpreting IR images, and knowledgeable about roofing, gutter, and home construction issues. He is clearly passionate about his job and very customer focused.

Steven was prompt in keeping me informed. When he couldn't make the first appointment, he called me ahead of time to reschedule it. He reached a bit early on the day of the appointment and I was not at home at that time. He was on his way back after conducting inspection, but came back when I expressed my desire to be there while he was going over the issues and proposed work.
I have had the leaking issue addressed twice by other roofers and the roof kept leaking, so this time based on reviews on Angie's List I reached out to Roofer 911. Steven seems very knowledgeable in diagonising issue, and his staff was very attentive and polite. They arrived promptly and finished their work efficiently as well. They seem to have done a very good job. Given my concerns about the issue not being permanently addressed in the past, Steven also agreed to extend the warranty for his job. I am very hopeful that that all my roof leaking issues are resolved, and I can provide Roofer 911's reference to others in the future.

I called Roofer911 and spoke with Steve; he was very friendly and professional. After hearing my problem with the roof, Steve stated he would personally work me into his schedule to examine the problem. He arrived as promised, inspected the roof and determined what was needed. I quickly received an estimate and was able to approve the work to begin online/via email. Within an hour or so, workers arrived onsite and began the repair. The work was completed fast and efficiently. I was able to submit my payment via the estimate form. In a matter of hours I was able to address an issue I had been dealing with for months!!! I had been dealing with the leaks for over 5 years with no company being able to identify or rectify the cause, I was at the end of my rope by the time Roofer911 was contacted. Roofer911 came out in the morning (around 7:30am) to do an assessment. They were able to have a repair person out later that morning to install new flashing (which had been installed improperly, it was to short), reposition all gutters (they were slanting in toward the chimney), and a few other areas of flashing repair around chimney. I have not had a leak since.

The owner was extremely professional, but friendly in that he explained his camera and how it worked in layman's terms. For 10 years we have lived in this house and the rain would always come in our french doors. 10 years of suggestions, a new door, patch jobs by other roofers, all to no avail. WELL, since 911 ROOFERS repaired our roof, we have not had a any water leak. The owner diagnosed the problem, and he suggested what his company would do to fix the problem. I waited till we had a few torrential rain storms to be sure and all is DRY. I don't have to get out 1000 towels to put near the door every time it is suppose to rain ... I would definitely use 911 Roofers again, but I really don't think I will have to .... they did a GREAT JOB.

Using infrared technology is a good foolproof way of detecting small leaks. The roofer came was professional and friendly, explained the process. He checked my whole house for leaks using infrared.

Steve, the owner and his crew were on time , very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done to stop a leak in my roof. They were honest and up front. Even though it cost a little more than I expected I felt it was worth the money and value. I would recommend them to anyone and I would personally use them again.

There was a bad storm on 7/2/2014 and we noticed water coming down the fireplace(s) in two spots. We called Roofer 911 and they were out the next morning at 8:00 am and had a crew at our home within about an hour or so to repair the flashing and fix all spots that appeared to be problem areas. Storms were expected that evening again, and they were done just in time to keep us from getting any more damage that afternoon/evening.
The crew was quick, courteous and very punctual and informative. I would recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs and would use them again.

We have 2 dormer windows in our master bedroom, and our master bedroom is above our garage. With the rainy spring we had noticed some wet carpet in the bedroom around the cutouts of the dormer windows and some discoloration of the baseboards. About a week later we had a couple of torrential rain storms back to back in the same week. During these storms, on June 11 and12, we noticed water dripping from the ceiling in our garage and a lot of wet carpet in our master bedroom.
On June 12 we called several roofers, including leaving a message with Roofer 911, but no one was available to give us an immediate estimate. I called Roofer 911 again at 8 in the morning on June 13 and talked to Steve. He came out that afternoon to evaluate the problem and give us an estimate. The thermal pictures he took and shared with us really showed the magnitude of the problem, and proved that it had certainly been going on longer than we thought. The pictures will also be extremely useful in our home owners insurance claim. Steve told us that he could have a crew out the next day, June 14, to complete the necessary roof repairs to stop the leak. All related paperwork was done electronically in a prompt fashion.

They replaced the flashing around the dormer windows. After they were finished they cleaned up after themselves very well. Steven Briesemeister the owner of Roofer911 came out to our home. He, assessed the problem with his infrared equipment, inspected our stained ceiling, windows, gutters, and roof. Steven, sent us a quote with all of the work that needed to be done within 30 minutes. The next day, his employees (German, Mario) came out to our home. These, guys were professional, polite, and they did a great JOB!! Antonio, was a great help too. Both, Steven and Antonio returned calls promptly. We, were only supposed to get our existing gutter re-pitched. Steven, decided to remove the old gutter and install a new gutter to insure it was properly pitched so the water flow would flow out correctly through the drain. Steven, guarantees that we won't have any water leakage or water stains from now on. It, was a pleasure to work with Roofer911.
