Roofing
Made an appointment for them to come to home for an estimate. They never showed up. I gave them about 1 1/2 hours to arrive because traffic can be really awful. After 1 1/2 hours I called their office. No one answered so I left a message asking them where they were and to please call me. It's been over a week and I haven't heard from them; obviously I won't.

, Husband and wife team.  Husband showed for estimate on repairs, seemed professional, nice.  When I decided to replace the roof I had to call and email 3x before getting a call back, but he gave me a fair and reasonably detailed proposal, on a one-sided contract form.  I asked to change a couple of the terms, was told by wife she handles contracts, she spent half an hour telling me how wonderful her company was, finished by refusing to change a dot in the terms.  I yielded on one term, still wanted one small change, which I explained -- again, absolutely not, no changes.  I figured, too rigid, bad omen, I don't need to deal with a company like that.
