After having a terrible experience with a contractor installing roofing, siding, and window materials - we were leary of hiring another contractor to come in and fix the job. Sam at Summitt Roofing was very patient with us, understanding our situation. He was out at the site several times a day to make sure the job was being done right and to address any questions or concerns we had along the way. The end result is the beautiful new roof and siding that was repaired at a responsable cost.

Crew came out to complete the work 1 day after we approved the estimate. We were very satisfied with the quality of the workmanship and all excess materials were removed and the the job site left as the crew found it. They were flexible on the pricing and used some extra flooring plywood I had from another project rather than charge extra for the material. The only bad thing I could say about the experience was that they came out to the site unexpectedly quick. When we sent in the signed estimate we didn't receive any call to schedule the job. I was heading out to work the next day and they showed up to complete the work. Not a big deal but I would have rather known they were coming in advance so I could have planned to be home.

The process was seamless and painless. I called and got an estimate that arrived in my mailbox -very thorough. All I had to do was pick style and color. Then the materials showed up and I scheduled the labor with the estimator. The schedule never changed: Windows were installed in 2 days - roofing was done in a day - siding and gutters took 2 days. I received the bill when the work was completed and Summit allowed me to spread the cost over 6 months - no added fee for this. I can't say enough nice things about this company.

The estimator arrived the day after I called the company for an estimate. I did not have to be home which was nice becuase I did not want to be intimidated in to signing something right away. The proposal arrived in my mail box about 3 days later I think. It was in a package that had a copy of their license and insurance, list of houses they have worked on, letters of recomendation, and product information - very complete. The other 3 companies I called insisted on me being there and this took up additional time out of my already busy days. After comparing I decided to call Summit with additional questions that were answered by the estimator either by phone or email. The materials showed up when I was told they would and the crews were shceduled but had to be delayed becasue of a possibility of rain later in the day. The next day the roofing crew satrted and finished in one day!! The clean up was great. The siding/gutter crew showed up 3 days later and finished their work in 2 days. Again the clean up was perfect. I received my bill about 4 days after all the work was completed. I was really impressed that I did not have to give a deposit up front - very comforting.

Good-estimate, certifications, product, like and similar installations. Poor-scheduling, notification, cancellation etc. Good-installation, roof looked good in appearance. Average- cleanup, some debris left behind, burned grass with compressor Poor-did not repair roof as stated in contract, left unrepaired damage area(s) Bad-followup on repairs, warranties, etc.

I had several estimates and this company was willing to use architectural shingles. They had a low price. They showed up on time and did the work in one day. The clean up was thorough. I have used them on other occasions and found their work top-notch. I like that they are a family run business. They are always professional.

They gave us an accurate estimate. The workers themselves were very nice but the supervisor didn't know anything about a post & beam house. We had one problem after another. They ordered more material than they needed. It was a mess.
