We recently had Modern Remodeling out to replace our roof and siding due to storm damage and couldn’t be happier. From beginning to end, every person from office staff, to project managers to the crew themselves were incredibly knowledgeable, respectful and supportive. We will continue to recommend Modern Remodeling to anyone who needs work done!

I've worked with Modern Remodeling on a couple related issues, and they have been wonderful. Their administrative side worked with my insurance company directly (minimizing the stress of that process), while their onsite team were on time, prepared and extremely thorough with their work. They worked long days (when necessary) to complete the job on schedule, and their attention to detail was phenomenal. Top that off, everybody from admins, to estimators, to project managers, to supervisors, to the workers themselves were consistently kind, professional and thoughtful. They answered a curious/worry wort homeowner far too many questions asked lol. They also were flexible in work flow, able to pivot on occassion when I came to them with unexpected requests. I recently had my roof replaced by Modern due to wind damages. From start to finish, Adam and the team was knowledgeable and provided great service, professionalism, and craftsmanship. Adam inspected my roof, met with my adjuster, and navigated the claim process, leading to approval for the full roof replacement. I would recommend using Modern for your home improvement needs.

Modern Remodeling is a great company. Over the past few years they have done many projects for us including a new roof, new siding, new windows and repair of the front portico. They have been phenomenal each time. Each job has been reasonably priced, completed on time, and done correctly. They do excellent work and there have never been any problems. Jonathan Ballard is extremely professional and personable. It’s a pleasure to work with him.

Modern Remodeling was extremely easy to work with, very professional. It was very important to them to honor any agreements made. They always delivered what they said they would, when they said they would and the workmanship was Outstanding! I wish I had them perform the work the first time I had issues with my roof. I don't believe their would have been a second issue if I had. They were aware of the high winds in my area and were able to work with the insurance company to validate the risks using a lower grade shingle. The roof looks great and has already gone through two major storms and is holding very well.

Modern Remodeling is one of the best companies we have engaged over the 61 years we have been home owners. This is also the 4th time we have used them in our current home. Their work has always been exceptional with the added bonus of leaving our house in better condition than it was when we first moved into it. Outstanding! Our house was over 40 years old! This made it difficult to match building materials: color, size or non-existent. Modern Remodeling did a great job! Our salesman was more than a salesman, he was a Project Officer. he was vey knowledgeable of building materials (colors) and their installation. This helped us a lot in selecting roofing and siding materials. It was also helpful in explaining necessary changes to us and the insurance adjuster. The main office scheduled materials and workers. Everything came together at the right time. I was concerned about the load on my driveway. When necessary materials were carried and stacked carefully. Very professional work! Unused materials and litter were removed and damage to the lawn/bushes were minimal. Thank you Modern Remodeling for an Outstanding job!

Modern Remodeling undertook an almost 2 year battle with our insurance company for hail damage to our roof, siding and window wrappings. During the entire time, Modern Remodeling never wavered in their commitment to us. The end result was a new roof, siding and window wrapping replacement that our insurance company finally covered. Modern Remodeling's work is impeccable, largely due to the over-seeing eyes of its president Jonathan Ballard. Look no further if you want honest, dependable and outstanding work. Seriously, we cannot say enough good things about this company.

It is never a good idea to sign any paper with a first Roofing Company that comes after the storm hitting your home. Do not trust the verbal commitment or promise that were brought up by the Sale Representative and always read through the Contract (or Binding Agreement) because that would limit the right in terms of the scope of service, service period, Insurance claim, etc. There were some discrepancies between what services I would receive in during the conversations and what I actually received in many areas as to the dates and scope of service. I am not happy with the company and will not hire them again for home improvement projects.

It's hard to fully express how happy we are with the final result of Modern Remodeling's re-roof and re-siding on our home. What was denied 4 years ago as a roofing job became an insurance-paid combined roofing AND siding job. Ben from Modern worked with the insurance company to get the wind-damaged siding redone as well. All leaks resolved. And it looks fantastic to boot. Big recommend !

Just wanted to say what a great experience it has been with Modern Remodeling. We had a lot of bad weather and there was damage to the roof and some water damage to the inside of our home. My initial contact was with Alena Meyer. Alena explained what would happen if any damage was found. She also made me feel comfortable by saying please google us (which I did). Nathan has been very responsive, was present when the insurance inspector came to the house and explained the paperwork and came back to make sure I was happy with everything. Alena Meyer and Nathan Rowitz have been spectacular in their professionalism and a pleasure to work with. Modern Remodeling made dealing with the insurance company a breeze. Our roof looks amazing! We also paid to have some new skylights installed as well because of their age. They also look awesome! Lastly, the roofing crew was extremely hard working and cleaned up their work area very well.

Great work with no problems. They look out for the best for the customer. Prompt attention to project and details and scheduling work. Very knowledgeable about what you need and they always look at the big picture beyond just the job. Great customer service. Most important - honest and dependable

Alena Meyer came to my house and said she noticed that my roof looked a little damaged, since there was high winds the previous night, and offered to perform a no-cost review. She assigned Adam for the review and he told me that there were quite a few missing shingles and overall the roof was in bad shape. He highly recommended that I file a claim with my insurer as he was sure that they will replace the roof. He not only guided me through the claim process but also worked with the claim adjuster when he came out to inspect the roof. My insurance company agreed and gave me a check for the replacement. I then sat down with Nathan, from Modern Remodeling, who went through my options and guided me to choose the color and upgraded shingle that I loved. The installation crew came promptly at 0730 and was done at 4pm and took 30 mins to ensure all the nails and debris were completely taken up. I am totally satisfied with the installation and workmanship and my new roof looks great.

Having never had to do my roof before, this was a new experience. Ben (Adler) and his team were fantastic. Very professional, proactive, explained to me the issues with my roof, assisted me in working with the insurance company to get the work covered, the roof itself was completed in a single day, and the work (and clean up) was great. Have had zero issues ever since, all insurance claims paid, pleased with the warranty, and Ben himself followed up to make sure everything was good. Could not be happier.

Great! On time. Very friendly. Finished in one day and cleaned up after themselves.

After scheduling issues and logistical problems, modern sent out there staff to fix the problem and expedite the project. One week later The work was done in a professional manner, and expertly installed. After being so frustrated, they made the effort and fixed the problem.

Adam responded out to the house to handle an insurance claim. He was responsive until such time as the claim was approved and the work needed to be done. September 2019 the claim was approved. I did not hear from him, he did not return calls, until I contacted the office and requested contact from him. In November 2019, he said he did not have to get the work done now, he could take a year to get it done. To date, I have not heard from him.

I first used Modern Remodeling two years ago for replacement of my roof due to hail damage. Johnathon and his team did such a professional job that I decided to use them again for remodeling my master bath that had leaked into the kitchen ceiling. It was such a relief to deal with a team that knew exactly what they were doing and thoroughly communicated each step of the repair. It was the best experience I have had with a contractor in my house in the last 20 years. I highly recommend them, and will immediately call Johnathon with any future needs in my home!!! A++++ service!!!
