We are very happy with H&H Asphalt and their services. A highly professional company that answered all our questions. They took the time to clean sidewalks and to hose down other areas as machinery applied gravel and asphalt. They regraded as they proceeded to make sure there was proper drainage of water away from the house. We are delighted with the result.

First class job, professionally completed in remarkable time. After receiving estimates from three paving companies in the DC-Northern Va area for our home and our neighbors, I called H&H Paving. They were prompt to schedule an on-site estimate. On the day of the estimate, the individual who provided the estimate called as a courtesy to inform my wife and me that he would be on-time. There was no guessing about when (or whether) he would be there. His estimate was competitive, but what really convinced me to select H&H was his confidence that the H&H team would address a unique problem that we had and their commitment to schedule to complete the work within a week. On the day of the repaving project, the H&H office staff called to tell us their paving team would be on time. The team started the project within 5 minutes of the scheduled appointment. The H&H was led by a foreman who has 30 years with the company. Other employees had 25 years with the company. The team worked together in a choreography that was efficient and professional. After they completed the repaving project, they cleaned up any residual material. Impressive from start (scheduling) to finish.

I contacted H&H Paving about the job. They came out and looked at my driveway and gave an estimate to remove the old asphalt and replace it while adding a a few inches near the sidewalk. We scheduled the work while I was away. H&H came out and did exactly what they promised. The new asphalt driveway looks terrific and I am completely satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone needing similar work done. They have done several other homes in my neighborhood.

The team was professional and meticulous. The work was performed as scheduled and the outcome was excellent. I brought them back after one year to perform an asphalt reseal. Most recently they repaired a damaged section of the driveway and resealed the surface for a second time.

Better than clockwork. The crew arrived on time, worked for some eight hours straight, and left me with a beautiful new asphalt-paved driveway. The supervisor gave me instructions for when it could be put back into use and how to take care of it until they saw me next year for maintenance, if needed. Thoroughly professional, efficient work.

A different contractor started the job and when I asked him for his business licence he vanished and never came back. Yes we should have done that before any work was started. I called around and realized a lot of paving contractors are unlicensed, even the ones on Angie's list. most contractors were only going to add gravel as needed. I called H&H who are fully licences professionals. They were very informative and helpful. They added a good amount of gravel over the entire driveway before paving. The driveway looks great.

I received a follow-up email about an estimate we got last summer and it just so happened my wife and I were ready to have our driveway repaved. I worked with Sarah and she was able to schedule a visit with an estimator right away. After confirming the work with the estimator, we scheduled the job for the next day. My wife said the crew was very professional and one gentleman even brought our mail to the door. Driveway looks better than ever and I will be recommending them in the future.

Everything was great. The sales guy (Rob) was very nice and low key. He met with me and provided the estimate, background info on the company, and lots of local references (every job within a couple of miles, not just select ones). The references were street addresses organized by year, dating back 9 years. So, I could easily tour around and see jobs that were done at different times to see how they're aging. All looked great. The site supervisor was also great --- Todd was our project's lead. He brought a large team (all H&H employees) and they worked quickly, which is important working with asphalt in cooler temperatures. Todd was careful to thoroughly answer any questions I had. They peeled off all of the old asphalt to examine the existing base. Given that the base looked really solid, they recommended not to add stone and instead go with a thicker application of asphalt --- which, by the way, costs the company more than the stone. They only took about 3 hours start-to-finish. The resulting driveway looks fantastic. The edges that they shape make the project look very nice. They're also careful not to leave a mess around the work site (garage, grass, lip of driveway, street). Everything looked really good immediately afterwards, despite asphalt being a messy business. Highly recommend H&H.

Extremely well. Entire crew behaved very professionally and were very proud of their work and their company. Entire experience, from the first phone call to the sweeping up upon completion, was very positive. Absolutely no complaints.

All contact with H&H personnel were very positive, from Sarah at the office, to the estimator, to the crew under Jeff that performed the work. The crew arrived at the appointed time of 8:30 am with all equipment and materials needed to start work on arrival. All the old broken asphalt was quickly removed and taken away. Then quality crushed stone was rolled for a good foundation, and the repaving was done by a paver and smoothed with rollers and expert skill. All edges were at about a 60 degree slant and firmly tamped for best edge support. All paving, replaced & resurfaced, evenly matched both garages, the road, and sidewalks. Jeff and select members of his team evaluated the problem presented by an exposed ground drain along part of my parking area and came up with a great paving solution. The members of the crew were all obviously well versed in their job and worked as a well coordinated team. By 4 pm the same day, they presented my neighbor and me with a beautiful, solidly done drive and parking area. They truly are asphalt specialists!

The" team "arrived at 8 am. There were at least 10 guys with their specific job. They dug it up cleared the debris, checked the rock layer, and proceeded with the asphalt. Roller came in did their job, meanwhile the other workers were pounding down the sides of the driveway. They had to cut the ceramic tile walk to be flush with the driveway. They did a great job with that. It was all done within 3 hrs. clean up and all. And they were off they had two more job on the schedule. My husband and I were extremely happy with the job. And we HIGHLY recommend H & H Paving.

They did a great job -- top quality pavement. We had one surprise though -- after they removed our current asphalt and laid down the sand and gravel there were soft wet spots. They would not lay the asphalt on top and warranty the job. They said we had to wait a week for it to dry before laying the asphalt. They charged an additional $500 to leave and return.

Arrived on time. Very professional crew of about 10. Completed driveway tear-out and replacement in 3.5hrs. Foreman personally briefed me on what he intended to do after they had torn out the old asphalt and inspected the existing base layer. Cleaned up completely - no mess on sidewalk or lawn.

The estimator was punctual, polite and explained the process that would best suit my needs. He suggested filling all cracks, removing portions of the existing driveway at the transition points and laying new asphalt over top. The crew completed the job very satisfactorily. All transition points are even and the edges were hand tampered beautifully. The office staff is excellent. I was contacted quickly after accepting the estimate to set a date for the work, contacted again the day before to confirm as well as the day of to let me know the crew would arrive early.
