I think it was worth it. I don't know what it should cost but it was better than me trying to climb up there and fix it, that's for sure. I would use them again in a heartbeat. They're really good.

The heating and A/C work turned out beautiful. Fire & Ice HVAC, Inc did a good job. I'm very happy. They were reasonable priced and they were nearby. The local company was a good price. I intend to use them again when the furnace needs it.

Kal was a pleasure to work with. I discovered my furnace wasn't working when I got home from work yesterday and needed help ASAP, considering the temps were in the teens. After calling several other companies (who were just trying to make easy money), I contacted Fire & Ice and spoke with Kal. After telling him my issue and the type of system I have, he was able to diagnose the problem. He was honest and told me that he could come out for an emergency call, but he didn't have the part. Instead he recommended he come the next day. I was the first customer on his schedule for the next day and my problem was fixed in a matter of minutes. I am so grateful and I will continue to use them for any HVAC issues!

There was a mix up on the start time but once the installers arrived they began right away. The entire process took about 7 hours. They answered all my questions and took great care laying down runners and carrying the blower & hot water heater through the house. We had the unit installed on July 25, the hottest day of the year. The unit worked great. All summer the difference between the old unit and the new unit was much appreciated. I did not turn on the heater until October 11. Upon turning on the heater, we had some smoke come out of our vents and called Fire & Ice right away. They called back shortly and discussed the possible reasons for the smoke. They explained it was most likely a coating on the inside of the heater and was normal for the first time using the unit and should not continue for more than a few minutes. They had me turn on the heater again. Everything went fine. From scheduling the initial appointment, to the house call to go over possible units, to the installation, to the follow-up call about the heater, they did everything great!

I have had no less than a dozen different contractors doing work at my house over the past few months. I have had many bad expereiences, but I cannot say enough about how these guys treated me. Cal came out for a $59 winter "tune-up" and ended up going way out of his way to help me fix an issue I already knew about for way less than anyone else would have done it for. Not to mention the time he spent, and the things he showed me so that I knew what I should expect out of my unit in the future and why. I really could go on. Trust is the #1 thing when it comes to hiring tradesmen to work at your home, and they have earned mine. I will use this company for every service they offer that I may need in the future, from now on. Hire these guys with confidence!

Shawn Hatton from Fire and Ice did a great job with our tune up. He checked to make sure everything was in proper condition , answered all of the questions I had, and even had suggestions for how I could maintain the system and alleviate some of the issues we'd been having. Super professional, and considerate, I will definitely be contacting them the next time we need any HVAC work done.

I used the Angie's List Big Deal for the $59 maintenance check. Shawn was the technician who came out and performed the service. He was very thorough and explained everything he was doing. This was actually the second time Shawn had been out to the house. He had been out to the house in the fall for my humidifier yearly maintenance. Both times he has been extremely friendly and professional, and certainly knowledgeable. I highly recommend Fire & Ice and Shawn in particular.

They had to come out and fix us, but they did come out and fixed it. One of the guys was drinking, but all the other guys were good. I have the furnace to prove that, but they fixed it. It was good. I did not have to go back and forth. They immediately corrected the situation so that was good.

Perfect, My time window was tight because I was on lunch from work and had to get back. Shawn was awesome he showed up on time and was very respectful of my time. Shawn was very knowledgeable and took the time to teach me and my roommates a couple things on how to utilize our AC system better. He unclogged the water run off pipe for the ac system. Shawn was A+ All the way will definitely keep his card if I need something else on the unit. Thanks again Shawn

Air conditioner was not working. I made an appointment and they showed up on time. As they began troubleshooting procedures, they feared it would be an expensive repair, but continued to correctly diagnose the issue and did not just swing parts into the unit.
