Big Dog Concrete Construction is a small company; however, we found their business process considerably better & their professional ethics higher than the larger firms with whom we have previously contracted.  Shelby provided extraordinary customer service, which exceeded our expectations. She replied to emails, within hours, with a level of detail that not only answered our questions, but kept us informed during every step of the process. Because we were so impressed with their customer service, we opted not to obtain any other estimates, which is the rationale for a "B" in price.  However, we believe they are competitive.  Ramos was reliable & arrived on time; he called approximately 15 minutes prior to his arrival for the estimate, as well as the day when he & his crew performed the work. He is quite knowledgeable & demonstrated quality craftsmanship. Both Ramos & Shelby demonstrated superior professionalism & courtesy. The original bricks were 17 years old; while those Ramos used in the replacement wall were not a perfect match, they blended well. He made the effort to minimize any unnecessary changes to the perimeter area; he & his crew were careful not to damage plants & electrical cables. They hauled away the old bricks, mortar, etc. during the job & thoroughly cleaned up the work site upon completion. Ramos also took the initiative to purchase & replace landscape stones that were removed.
