"We never like to see a review like this. Beacon Electrical Services strives to do the best we can on each and every job we encounter. It is upsetting that you would choose to not use our services again and it would be nice if that could change. Unfortunately, in this business, we do rely on others to help us get to the completion of a job. It really is a team effort from all ends, starting with us, to the county inspector, all the way to Pepco. Getting all of these people on the same page, usually works out just fine. On occasion,we may hit a bump in the road. We do apologize if your experience as a whole was not up to your expectations, but hope you will judge Beacon Electrical Services on our performance alone. Again, I understand stuff happens and the technician is ok. For those reading this review, please take it with a grain of salt as it is based on my experience and no services were performed for me due to emergency cancellation of the appointment by Beacon. Please judge their performance based on the quality of their service.
"[member name removed] So sorry to hear that we had to cancel your scheduled appointment. I called the technician who was scheduled to service your job, and found out that he had called you that day and cancelled as he was not feeling well. He actually ended up in the emergency room later that day, and needed a few days afterwards as well to recover. I believe you spoke to Dee, she does our scheduling, and tried to work something out, but couldn't find a convenient time to reschedule. We would definately love to reschedule with you when possible, like Dee offered before, weekends too, if it better accomodates your work schedule. We understand that your time is valuable!!! I have forwarded this review to Bob, he's the owner of Beacon Electrical Services, he is aware of the scheduling conflict we are having, and will be giving you a call to see if we can work out. Again, my apologies we weren't able to keep our first scheduled service and hope to find the best time for you that we can come out again and complete the work."
It would be handy if the company also could do drywall repair for this type of job, but we had to do that separately.

Cutting the drywall is necessary for us to access your electrical wires, but as we are electricians, not drywall specialist, we are not skilled in that area of construction.
