After having a bad experience with two different companies I tried to have clean my dryer vent (both companies canceled on me at the last minute) I finally caved and joined Angieslist. Atlantic Duct Cleaning had a deal on dryer vent cleaning so I bought it and scheduled an appointment with them. The technician was about an hour or so late, but they did a very good and thorough job with the cleaning. My dryer hadn't been working for a month because it was so blocked up, so ever since my dryer vent cleaning appointment, my dryer has been working wonderfully.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were excellent. They came out on time and they were on the day they were supposed to. They did an excellent job. They didn't disrupt the whole house. They were very efficient.

Price was for two systems. The showed up when promised and were very professional. I had a specific request to fog a special disinfectant that I had and they did that at no additional charge.
I did have a small issue but Atlantic took care of it right away.
I didn't catch everyone's names but on the first crew, Santo was a big help.
I would definitely use them again and would recommend them.
One thing I noticed about most airduct cleaning companies is that they try to get you in the door for some crazy low price like $59 and then try to up sell you additional services once they are there. I appreciate Atlantic's upfront pricing and felt it was a fair deal.

Spent 4 hours and provided thorough cleaning and mold preventive measures. Updated me frequently during 4 hour process. Returned next day free of charge to install difficult air filter.

This was my first experience with duct cleaning. They were polite, efficient, knowledgeable, It was very noisy and I wish I had notified my neighbors befforehand. It is less dusty.

Brian and Eric had to overcome several obstacles to complete the job, but they were up to the challenge. We have an old house, 3 1/2 stories, with the air handler in the crawlspace so access was an issue. They were very courteous and professional. They worked well together and were skilled with their equipment. It was 4 hours from start to finish and they worked the entire time. What impressed me was their willingness to diagnose issues with air flow, explain their process, and make helpful suggestions. These are a couple of hard working fellows who did a great job.

I wish they could have called earlier that they were going to be late 2hrs, so I could have gone to the gym, but with traffic as it is I understand.

It started off well, they came in and introduced themselves and started to get to work. They put down a tarp but it did not cover all of their work area.They did a decent job of clean-up but we did find some dust on our bed that was not covered as well as my sons items in the basement where they were working. They also did not replace one of the ducts.

My appt window was 8:00-9:00AM. They arrived at 8:15. It was two men, Randy and Robert. We walked through the job and they explained the procedure and we discussed everything prior to their beginning. They did a good job of not damaging anything in the house, including the vent removal process. They also cleaned up all areas after the work was completed. The price was in line with most of the other companies I called. I chose them based on their Angie's list reports. I had never had my vents cleaned before and had asked if they could bring a camera so I could see inside the ducts before and after cleaning. They didn't have the camera with them so I was not able to see anything but as far as I could tell they did a good job on the vents. The men were knowledgeable and well spoken. Based on price, performance, office staff, punctuality and the men who actually did the job. All in all a positive experience. I would use this company again.

I made the appointment by phone, and thanks to Angie's List, I got a $100 discount for my 2 units. They gentlemen showed up on time, were professional and courteous. They were clean and methodical in the way they do this. They started upstairs and worked their way down. They let me know how dirty my ducts were, which was not too bad considering I have 4 pets. :) They were done in about 2 hours (probably less). I will use them again in 4-6 years when I'm due for the next service.

This was my first big deal purchase. I remain uncertain if the deal was really a deal, but that is my fault as I should have spent more time researching the average cost of duct cleaning including dryer vent cleaning.

We were very impress with the work performed by this company. We just bought a house and it definitely needed the air ducts cleaned. After much searching, we came upon this company on Angie's List. The service professionals that worked on our home were Roger and Luther. They were wonderful! They explained the entire process up front and took all the proper measures to make sure that they didn't track dirt into the house as they came and went. They kept me informed about the progress of the job and why they were taking longer than they had anticipated (my house has a LOT of vents and they took great care when unscrewing the vent covers which had been painted in place.
The clean up was exemplary and they were polite, courteous and friendly, making sure I was completely satisfied and had no further questions before they left.

The two technicians arrived at our house within the time frame they said they were. The main tech explained who they were and what services they were going to perform that day. He also explained the process as they went along. They laid down floor coverings before moving their equipment into the house. They hooked up a giant vacuum machine the the A/C unit in the basement. While that was running, the techs went around the house vaccuuming depris out of the A/C registers. They also vaccuumed the two large A/C intakes (one upstairs, one downstairs). There was a lot of carpet depris, nails, and drywall dust that they were pulling out of the vents. The technicians were polite and professional. The whole process took about 90 minutes.
I was hestitate about having the air ducts cleaned after reading on government websites saying that it may be unnecessary, and checking with other sources. However, after seeing all the depris that was pulled from the air ducts, I was satisfied that we had done the right thing. The estimate from the company was the exact price we paid, with no hidden costs or services charges.

When I called to schedule an appointment, the lady on the phone was extremely nice and helpful. I was able to schedule it for the following week. Two technicians came to do the cleaning. They both looked really young, but were very professional and cleaned after themselves.
My only problem is that I have not notice any improvement in the air quality. Our place is still quite dusty and I was definitely expecting better results.

The two technicians arrived on time, were courteous, and explained how they would approach the job. They accommodated my two dogs who were curious but stayed out of their way most of the time. The job took around three hours and I periodically monitored the progress. The two return ducts were the dirtiest and looked very good upon completion. They mentioned using a brush to loosen the dirt, but I only observed a compressed air hose. Results seemed fine nevertheless. I was happy to have a good experience after noting several horror stories about this type of business.
I would have given them an "A" for quality except for one thing. On the second floor, all ductwork vents from the ceiling. When removing the registers, a small amount of dust and paint chips fell to the floor. They made no attempt to vacuum this up after they re-attached the registers. I didn't notice this until after they left, or I would have mentioned it. Other than that, the work was very good.

The team arrived as scheduled. The work took exactly as long as they said it would. They cleaned up everything and put all everything back where it was. In addition, we had new, unused vent covers and where they fit, the team installed the new ones and disposed of the old ones.
