After having two complete HVAC units replaced, adding UV light sanitizers, and using them for non warranty service, they would not upgrade a technician recommended AC coil drain which should have been installed originally without an additional $200 charge (spent $30k on the services above). Since their in-house warranty expired, I will be using a more customer oriented company for service, repairs to all and replacement of my water heater later this year.

Clarence was truly professional in all aspects, along with his assistant, Salah. His diagnosis was spot on and repair was efficiently done.

Do not hire ARS Manassas for anything they quote one price over the phone and the technician comes up with almost double of the quoted phone price.

Fall maintenance service on our furnace was performed by Richard who did an excellent job. He was courteous, knowledgeable and on time. We have had ARS do our HVAC maintenance for over 20 years and they to do an outstanding job.

This was for semiannual maintenance under contract. Danny performed an excellent job, he has many years of experience. I have used ARS for the heating/air conditioning maintenance for about 35 years. They replaced the equipment about six years ago. It has not failed since replacement.

My personal experience with ARS and Tim Griffin had been very positive (5 stars) until after the installation when there was a small water leak in the newly installed furnace. After nearly a month of repeatedly promising to send someone out to correct the problem I finally gave up hope. So now I have to change my previous high rating to a much lower one because I believe that honoring a warranty in a timely manner is critical to the overall service, and to not honor it at all is simply unacceptable. It is a shame that ARS and Mr. Griffin chose to ignore the problem because I feel that it is a minor water leak that could be easily corrected. But I also feel that minor problems can turn into major problems if ignored. Anyhow, unfortunately I cannot recommend ARS and I will not be using their services in the future and I willl advise my friends and family to also stay clear of them.

AC Tech Aaron was highly knowledgeable, amicable and was able to solve an issue that previously caused ARS to replace a newly installed HVC system with another new system, however, Aaron was the one to solve the ongoing issue I had with both current and previous systems. The issue was, the AC simply was not efficient enough to cool my house, reason, the air filters were severely clogged. Solution: Aaron applied a commercial degreaser, then washed both filters, this dissolved an accumulation of over 10 years worth of gunk and soot like dirt. Thanks to Aaron, my AC now is finally running to its full capacity without compromising its efficiency or causing it to overheat or worse, break down. I would recommend ARS to at a minimum inspect and equally clean all AC filters as that would go a long way towards resulting in a far better AC/HVC performance with better efficiency.
