On Christmas Eve, with 8 degrees, a pipe burst in my son's house, flooding the wall and floors. I called Sullivan Plumbing and left a message. Knowing that every plumber in town would be swamped, I had to have faith I'd hear back. At 9 PM I got a call from Will, who explained they had been going full bore all day, but said he would try to get there that night. I told him no, because he and the other techs were exhausted and cold. He made arrangements with my son to have a tech come at 9 AM on Christmas morning. Liam was there on time and ready to work, fixed the pipe, wrapped it to make sure it did not freeze again, and was an absolute lifesaver! I was so surprised that someone would come out on Christmas morning!! I recommend them highly! From now on I will use Sullivan Plumbing for ALL my plumbing needs. Their phone number is 434-846-4466. This company is HORRIBLE!!! First thing they do is charge you $95.00 for coming into your home, before the work is even estimated, they actually tell you this when they arrive, so you do no know you are going to be CHARGED!! When you ask why are you being charged this, the response I was given is "it costs to send a man out to look at a job, gas,and etc). Then when the man looked at the job, he gave us a quote of 850.00 + the 95.00 fee and then had the nerve to say "if you don't pay the 95.00, then dont call us anymore"!! Sounds like a good reliable company to me, what about you? Would you use them? I say NO!!! Absolutely NOT!

Had to come back to redo the toilet, but they came quickly.

Sullivan plumbing responded quickly, and did highly reliable, expert work for us. They installed new gas lines for the gas stove, and ran plumbing for relocating the washer/dryer. They also repaired a problem in the bathroom. Every time they come, they are quick, reliable, and the work is done right the first time. Highly recommend.

Excellent! I came home on 9/11/19 to find my daughter & a gentleman from the Amherst County Service Authority standing in my yard by my water meter. My meter reading was much higher than usual so he came to check it out & determined that there was a leak. Using Angie's List I found Sullivan Plumbing, I told them the problem and they had someone here the next morning. The two technicians were professional, knowledgeable & personable. They determined where the leak was, gave me a very reasonable estimate for the repair and went right to work. They did a great job! I will definitely use their service again!

I called Sullivan Plumbing from an Angie's List referral. They were busy but knew I was without hot water. Colton Hudson called back and said he could come came out the same day. Within a couple of hours he had diagnosed and repaired everything! Very polite and trustworthy. I was especially pleased because a winter storm is predicted for the weekend and he came out on Friday afternoon.

Great job. We called for service in the afternoon and Devon and his crew we here the next day. We were given an estimate and approximate time frame right up front. The work was completed exactly as promised and we were back in good working order. I have used Sullivan Plumping in the past and I will continue to rely on them.

Mr Sullivan responded very promptly to my inquiry and scheduled a visit for a couple of days out. He arrived on time (actually called to say he would be early). The job and clean up including disposal of the unit components was completed efficiently and professionally. Mr. Sullivan was personable, polite and customer oriented. I will definitely use again and recommend to other homeowners.

Generally it went very smoothly, timely, and the few small issues were addressed promptly.

Thomas provided us with a detailed estimate on-site, and promptly executed the work precisely according to that estimate. He took a very professional, businesslike approach to the job, and impressed us as being an expert at his craft. We appreciated having his "to-the-point" guidance in the midst of all the variables involved in our project.

Fine except for a small piece was missing when the refrigerator came we had to have the plumber back out. He was very receptive to come and make it right.

Great! Sullivan gave me the details of what would be done and the option to do parts (that I could handle) myself to save on cost. He and his co-worker got there and got straight to work. With the "pre-work" I was able to do they were done and the water was back on by 4:00 pm the same day.
