The sale's rep was Chris. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, but what I liked most of all is the fact that he didn't pressure me to make a purchase.
After agreeing to go with WN, almost less than a month later, I have my windows and they make the home look great. The installation, to my surprise, was very quick but very efficient. The workers were friendly as well.

I should also note that the financing department is top-notch. They seemingly went out of their way to find an APR that suited my needs and I would say they impressed me the most.
I plan to use the company for roofing and siding in the very near future. I will post again after that work is complete.

I was not impressed with the salesperson in the Lorton store, but I was very happy with the service and quality I received.  People coming to my home to measure and install were prompt and professional.  They did exactly what they said they would when they said they would do it.  Rare in the home improvement business.

We requested a quote, which was competitive, once quote was accepted a week later, measurements were made. Three weeks later installation took place. Two days for installation.

Very good experience.   Sales rep came out initially for window replacements.  He was very friendly and down to earth.  He had a 30% off Independence Day coupon that he said would apply to siding as well.  Was planning on doing that later but the price with 30% off was too good to pass up.    Workers came as scheduled and did an excellant job, even putting in some features we hadn't planned on.  WHole job took about a week. 

The woman I worked with was Ms. Bridgett. They are very accommodating, allowing me to pay in installments. I have used them in the past and they have been wonderful. They are very, very informative and will educate you on all the products they carry.? Before you can even ask a question, they already have it answered. They are family-owned, very honest and up-front. I would highly recommend them!

This was a major project for us and we couldn't be happier with Window Nation's performance and product.
The professional, knowledgeable and experienced crew (led by Paul) arrived early and immediately made us feel that the project was in good hands by explaining what to expect  from them in the window removal and installation process. Paul encouraged and invited me to ask any questions I had throughout the completion of the work.
The crew carefully removed the windows after laying dropcloths in our home and vacuumed the area immediately after each replacement window was in place. I was impressed how efficiently and precisely the new windows went in. 
I really appreciated the systematic approach, attention to detail and time that was spent on insulating, installing trim and caulking around the new windows. It was this completely finished look and high-quality workmanship that really makes the new windows stand out and also leaves us with a lasting impression that this was a very good investment and a good company to do business with.
My wife arrived home to find our home as clean as before the project started. AND she almost didn't want to hang the window treatments that she had used to "hide our ugly old windows" back up because of the beauty of the replacement windows.

I called several companies in  August to set up appointments to get an
estimate to replace windows in my home. While two local companies made
it difficult to set up a meeting it was a breeze with Window Nation. Was
able to schedule meeting within a few days of initial call.

Klutz was the salesperson for the meeting. He showed up on time and was
very nice and professional. He took the time to explain all the
different options available to me as I knew very little about the
different kind of windows available. He also made sure that I knew the
prices of the different options and did not push me towards one option
or another.
The price I received was outstanding and I signed contract with Window Nation.
Just a few days later I received a call to set up appointment to have Windows installed.
On
the installation date the workers showed up on time and proceeded to
get to work. They were extremely courteous and professional throughout
the entire day seemingly  without taking a break.
They finished installing all 13 windows well within the estimated time frame and did a terrific job cleaning up.
Finally I was given a thorough walkthru including instructions for the windows.
At
this date there have been absolutely no problems and we can definitely
tell a difference both with noise reduction as well as the consistent temperature
and energy savings.
All in all this was an extremely positive experience from start to finish and I recommend Window Nation without any hesitation.

The material used to form a molding above the glass and seal the space between the window and the brick of the house is made of a vinyl and it was too narrow and flimsy to fill the opening. The installer used a lot of caulk to fill that space. The caulk began to fail early, within onw month, and has since given up completely. There is a rather large gap between the window and the house which is by now, full on mold and mildew. I have called Window Nation several time since the start of this failure, they have returned my calls sometimes but no one has come and fixed the problem. Recently I have contacted them again. At first I got positive response from their service department. I spoke to Lewis who seem interested. Dan came out and took pictures. My initial contact was 10/16/2012. I called them today, 11/06/2012, left a voice mail with my information and situation.
For me, they have not completed their responsibilities. I will not use them again or recommend them until the problem is resolved.

About 1 1/2 years ago, WindowNation installed new windows throughout our home and we were so pleased with the result that we asked them to come back when we decided to replace the siding. It was a great decision:  the siding is beautiful, the workmanship was top notch (the crew was meticulous in their work and their clean-up), and the whole WindowNation staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. The sales staff was very helpful when we were selecting our siding, which was an uncommon style in our area.  We had several technical questions so they invited us to meet with a representative of the siding supplier.  They also directed us to a new housing development some distance away, but that had several different colors and textures of our chosen siding which greatly helped us make up our minds.  A few weeks before the installation, a senior project manager came out to double check all measurements, explain the procedures and answer any new questions.  Also during this period we decided to paint wood trim that would not be covered or replaced.  WindowNation had no problem rescheduling our installation when our painter needed extra time to finish his work.  Several days of heavy rain delayed the revised start date, but the following week had beautiful weather.  Unfortunately, the day after the project began we needed to leave town for a few days and the installation would proceed without our being home.  The project manager assured us he'd be supervising and we texted back and forth during my absence.  Every request we made before we left and after we returned  was graciously attended to.  The first day during the tear-off of the old siding, an error by the original builder was uncovered:  sections of heating duct had been left uninsulated, left virtually unprotected from the cold and heat all these years.  The project manager went and got fiberglass insulation which the crew wrapped around the ducts before proceeding further.  Based on our previous experience with WindowNation we had high expectations.  This job exceeded our expectations and we certainly would use them again and recommend them.

We were impressed with Window Nation from start to finish.  We sat through many different window companies' sales presentation.  Window Nation's was concise and clear without a high pressure sales pitch - that was completely refreshing.  Bob explained the options and gave us a quote (without taking 4 hours to do so).  The follow-up was impressive and the installers came when scheduled on time.  Our installers, Pawel and Philipe, were fantastic - hard working, friendly, knowledgeable - and Pawel made sure we understood how the windows worked before leaving.  Bob stopped by during the installation to check on our satisfaction and we also received a phone call during the installation to ensure everything was to our liking.  We will definitely work with Window Nation again in the future.

It went great starting from the sales presentation through installation.  Joe's presentation was fantastic and his follow-up was exceptional.  After the initial quote he quickly found additional promotions that lowered our cost.  We brought in six companies to bid and Joe's thorough presentation and follow-up stood apart from all the rest.  And when he worked so fast and so hard (without pressure...he just quickly gave us more options) to get us a price within our budget it became a very easy decision.  Other companies simply measured our windows and gave us a quote.  Joe did so much more.  His description of the installation process was outstanding with an excellent overview of EPA procedures to contain dust and debris from removing old windows and installing the new ones.  He also outlined how Window Nation installers insulate windows to ensure maximum efficiency.  The installation crew was prompt, friendly and did an outstanding job. The windows make our house look brand new.  The curb appeal difference is that dramatic.  We are very pleased.  We highly recommend Window Nation.

Ordered 7 windows and was amazed with service.  The salesperson showed up during installation which was not expected.  He just wanted to check to see everything was going smoothly.  It was a nice added touch.  The installers made a small hole in my wall on accident but came back promptly the next day to fix it.  It was the same installer which was great.  I was worried about the trim on my windowsills being disturbed, but the installers were meticulous with installation and I didn' t even have to do any touch ups with paint. 
The whole process was excellent.  The windows are great.  Lower electric bill and it is much more quiet with the new windows in. 
I would highly recommend the team at Window Nation.

This is the second time we have used Window Nation. A few years ago we hired Window Nation (after having a few other local window companies visit our home) to replace 27 windows in our old 1918 farm house in Silver Spring, MD. The ownership, and all other Window Nation representatives, are and have been very easy to work with. Everyone my wife and I have come in contact with have been very professional, sincere and responsive. This is the reason we hired Window Nation again to replace our large sliding glass door in the back of our current home here in Bowie, MD. Our new door is much better,?safer?and easier to operate. The installers?showed up on-time, were courteous and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Lastly,?Window Nation has followed-up, in a timely fashion,?making sure we are completely satisfied with?the process, the product and overall experience; YES we are. One of the best companies we have dealt with in the past several years.

I was introduced to Window Nation by a door-to-door canvasser offering appointments for free estimates.  I definitely needed new windows, so I made an appointment with a sales representative. I was told the appointment would take appx. 60-90 minutes.
The sales rep (Bob Klutz, I think his name was) arrived on time and was courteous.  However, I thought I was being sold a time share.  I got a LONG, HARD sell as he described how great their company was, how their windows are the best, and how the company has special deals that are only available for a very limited time, so I'd better act quickly.  The  demo was complete with a heat lamp and other props to show the quality of the windows. Three hours into the sales pitch, I finally had to tell Bob it was time for him to go.  I told Bob I was going to get another estimate, and he warned me that the special offers would might not be valid if I hesitated.
Well, after getting another estimate, I learned that the quality window Window Nation was offering was excellent, and it was $2,000 less than I was quoted elsewhere.  In addition, Window Nation offered me 2 years interest-free financing, which was significantly better than the other company offered.  In fact, when I told the second company I was going with Window Nation, the sales rep said if he really couldn't blame me because I was getting a great product.
I called Bob and asked him what the best deal he could offer me was.  He quoted me appx. $8,600 for 8 windows, 5 casement windows, and a sliding glass door.  When I told him I was ready to sign a contract, he was at my house within an hour, even though it was Saturday.  Bob realized when he got to my house that he neglected to include the extra cost of tempered glass for the casement windows, but he did not change the estimate he gave me.  He was very clear about what the installers would do and answered all my questions.
The only reason I gave Window Nation a rating of B was because the hard sell was way over the top and took much longer than they said it would.  However, at the end of the day, the quality of the company and the price were very good.

Window Nation, was great! The initial consult was an easy sell and the process was smooth from beginning to end. One comment the caulk used had a strong odor that seemed to linger, overall awesome job.

They did a really good job. It only took a day for them to do it. We really like our windows.

Had 5 companies come and give estimates for the work.  WIndow Nation was not the cheapest but they worked with us to provide exactly what we wanted and we we very impressed by the Softlite windows they recommended.  The install crew did not have anyone who could do a decent drywall job and so I had to do the drywall work around the Baywindow myself. We had one window that was not correct but they got it in a week or so and installed it.  Had some draft problems with the bay window which they caulked.  This winter we noticedcondensation on the windows.  Softlite sent out a technician and we identified one window that had bowed down in the middle of the bottom channel. They are coming to re-install next week.  The bay window still has condensation on it but is not Softlite.  The technician looked at it and said it needed some additional caulking or insullation and would tell Window Nation.  Have not heard back on that part of the solution yet.  Also have one window where the J-channel that was installed does not cover the siding (was behind a shutter so I never noticed it until the shutter came off and we noticed a draft near that window).  Show the technician whose solution was move the shutter, believe the J-channel should be re-installed. Not sure of the solution for that either.  Over all, we have been very pleased with the Soflite windows themselves but not as impressed with the Bay window  or the install crew, who while very polite and professional, appears to have done some hurried work.

UPDATE:  Came and replaced the windows with condensation issues and the screens.  Also fixed the J-channel that was not straight.  Told me they would stand behind their work and the product and they did. 

I spent $8000 plus on their services.? The windows are working fine.? I liked the service.? The installers had a good team and I was very happy with them.? There was one mistake with a window.? The window came with a wrong measure but that was fixed within a week or two.? Their price was competitive.? I will use their services again in the future.
