At Window Nation, we know replacement windows. We’re third-generation window replacement experts who have been lucky to provide homeowners replacement windows, siding, and doors for over fifteen years. We opened our first showroom in Maryland in 2006, quickly growing to serve homeowners in cities across the country – and we’re not stopping there. We’re grateful for every homeowner who has trusted us to upgrade their most important asset: their home. We’ve learned a lot about home improvement over the years, but the most important thing we learned isn’t about window replacement. We learned the home improvement industry isn’t about offering the best windows, siding and doors; it’s about the relationships we build with our customers.

"That's what we like to hear! Thank you."
"Thank you!"
Did not hear anything until the 28th of April which consisted of a credit rejection letter from Green Sky consumer loans which I was not aware of. The same day I received a credit card from Syncrony for $9900. when I called I could not get any information i.e. rate, terms etc. I was told to contact Window Nation. I called April 30, May 1, May 5 left message for sales person and accounting .No one returned my calls. The only person who has been helpful is Jackie in customer care. She sent e-mails etc. with dates and times and neither person called me back. On May 5 someone named Joe called and said he would have Alex in accounting call me within two hours. Nothing happened. Finally today May 8 I called Angie's List and got another telephone number for Window Nation. I called today 5/8/2015 after asking for the manager I was transferred to Alex (in accounting) who stated that the salesman had told her that he had spoken to me on Wednesday, April 29th so she did not call me. This is absolutely not true I have not spoken to the salesman since the initial meeting in spite of my numerous unreturned calls. Alex did explain Window Nations process which is what I had been asking for. I had additional questions concerning the windows which she stated that she would get back to me with answers within two hours. That has been over 5 hours ago. Guess What? No return call again. I have no idea of the quality of the installation or the windows at this point but I do know their non responsiveness is totally unacceptable!
Although the house is in Maryland I gave everyone my cell # 202 413 7942 to contact me because my daughter who lives in the home is hearing impaired and would not be able to communicate on the phone although the sales person insisted that I put the number associated with the house on the contract.

"[Member Name Removed], we dropped the ball on providing you with an "A" experience and for that we apologize. We hope that our team was able to accommodate you to address the issues you had. Thank you."

"Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us! We're happy you're happy!"
"Hi [member name removed]. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I personally read and review every one - good and bad. I spoke with our team and we were able to offer a special discount because we had a cancellation. Sometimes those things happen and we try to pass the savings on. I'm happy to discuss that with you more if you'd like. And it's true - we often suggest both partners be home when we visit, but it is not required at all. We're happy to talk with anyone at anytime. I apologize if that wasn't made clear to you. If you'd like to talk more, I'm at [email protected]. Thanks. Harley Magden, co-founder/owner."

I am appalled that AFTER being told to stop calling me on a Sunday that this company would continue with such tactics. I should have stopped things when they started insisting that a wife had to have her husband present just to get windows installed. But for this man to keep calling me after he knew I wanted him to stop calling me on a Sunday shows that this company knows absolutely nothing about professionalism.
I had to cancel to get them to stop this intense Sunday harassment and I will NEVER use this company
"Hi [Member Name Removed]. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We take all reviews seriously, good and bad. As such, I pulled the calls with you to listen and learn. You requested an appointment on a Monday and it is our policy to always call the day before to confirm. Also, it's true - years ago we suggested both partners be home but we no longer do that today. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding there? I'm sorry if you don't agree with our approach or felt bothered in anyway. That's certainly not the impression of us I'd want you to have. I wish you the best of luck with your home. Regards - Harley Magden, co-founder and owner."

Myles was professional, polite and knowledgable. The quote seemed fair based on our previous experience with Thompson Creek (which were way more expensive). This was our first quote and based on "special deals" and offers we signed a contract only because Myles pulled out their 30 day price guarantee, which states that if within 30 days you find a comparable window installed professionally by a recognized window company, they will refund the difference plus $250. This gave us the confidence to sign the contract and then look around. A week later we received a quote from what seems to be the nations largest window installer and found what seems to be a very comparable window installed at $2000 less. We have submitted the information to Window Nation and expect the refund based on the stated conditions on the guarentee policy document. I will update with the outcome. If they do honor the guarantee, I will be very happy as I liked Myles and would like to give them my business.
12/17/2014:
Window Nation accepted the competitive quote and matched the price and knocked off $250 for my trouble. I am VERY impressed and would recommend them highly. I await the install by their installation team eagerly.
