We originally reached out to Timothy's roofing due to a needed repair but we realized it was also time for a new roof. Russ came out and gave us and estimate and told us he'd call to schedule the new roof. In the meantime, he arranged to have the repair fixed at no cost which was greatly appreciated. The crew installed the roof during just 1 day. All-in-all, it was an efficient, painless process and Russ was great to work with.

Staff was punctual and completed job in one day. No hard sales.

The company gave me a very good competitive price (out of four estimates) and did an excellent job. They had done my roof 25 years ago and I had no problems. Russ was very professional and the workers were very efficient and cleaned up the premises thoroughly. I highly recommend this company.

Called and was told it would cost $85 for an estimate on their roof. Agreed. Receptionist said we would get a call to schedule. Two days past, called again. Receptionist said Tim would call by the end of the week. Never received a call back. Meanwhile called another roof repair company on Angie's list. They responded that day, scheduled an appointment for the next day, provided an estimate, returned two days later to do the work. Upon review of the work done on the roof, the new roofer noted the poor quality of the work done.

Absolutely professional and outstanding service. I had tried to get the roofing contractor who replaced the roof to come for this repair for a couple of months and he was always too busy. I called Timothy's Roofing and got an almost immediate call back. The repair was scheduled for the same day since they were working in the area. The crew cane and replaced the 2 or 3 shingles very quickly and performed a check of the overall condition of the roof (about 11 years old) for any other potential problems. I was amazed at this quick response, and was very impressed by the crew who really knew their business. The price was good based upon what I had paid for previous repairs over the years.

Tim's Roofing had a rep out that day and 7 days later we had a brand new 2000 sqft roof with 400 sqft of flat rubber, painted white. They upgraded my vents and fans as well as redid all the flashing, vent stacks and new rubber on the chimney My wife is very happy with the work. Their prices were incredibly competitive and there were no hidden costs or up-selling. I have some experience in construction and I will say they were completely honest and professional. Their crew was respectful and quick, cleaned up their mess. Highly recommend Tim's Roofing.

The team did a grade A job. There was one hiccup, where a bit of unnecessary work was done when we would have preferred less work would be done, but our representative offered to fix the problem.

Project was completed on time and the siding looks great. The gentleman who did the work was quick and precise and had knowledge of this profession. Removed all old siding & debris... Timothy’s company is very professional and his estimator can explain all the details of the job needed. I would definitely recommend them to others.

The whole process was fantastic! I would highly recommend this roofing company for several reasons: 1) It was easy to get a hold of Tim and Russ and get a very reasonable quote quickly; 2) They are pleasant and accommodating in both communication and in work to be done; 3) They came all the way to MD to do the shed roof and did it on a Saturday (only 2 days after approving the quote); 4) They are extremely neat in old roof removal (instead of throwing the materials on the ground and on our garden beds, they carefully piled up the material for neat removal) and in installation, which I really appreciated; 5) They installed the roof quickly and very professionally; 6) The roof looks great, and there is no clean up needed on my part; and 7) They also do repairs with matching shingles to the existing roof. To summarize, Great Price, Great Quality, and Great Service!

We were amazed at how hard the crew worked, putting in long hours with little break time, despite temperatures in the mid-to-upper 90's. They also suggested replacing one section of gutter, which was old and not fully secure, and we elected to do so. The job took 3.5 days and the results were great. They took care not to damage plantings and carefully cleaned up the entire area around the house. No price surprises. We highly recommend Timothy's.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Russ and his crew to anyone in need of a roof replacement. Great price, he was easy to deal with, providing us with all the necessary information needed for us to make an informed decision.

They quoted the work within 2 days ( very quick and responsive) we scheduled the job and they called to ask me if I wanted it done earlier ( which i did not) My original quote for the roof via a different company was incorrect and Russ set me straight as to why it was not only wrong but that they were trying to gouge me for 3 times the price. He quoted 14K for a 3750 Sq foor roof which beat any other estimate I had. All three estimates were with the EXACT same material ( GAF architectural singles) They delivered the materiel to my house ( stored them on the roof). I wasn't home nor did I need to be as it was all done very quickly. First day of work (Saturday) They arrived @ 8:00 AM on the money, removed the majority of the old work. I wanted to inspect the roof myself, they showed me an area or two, and they proceeded to repair 1 spot, and they set to work installing the roof. They completed removed the old roof, applied the new roof, cleaned up any and all mess, then came back on Monday to complete the job. They showed up @ 8:30 AM Monday morning and completed the small flat roof, they added new flashing all around caulked and cleaned up and were gone by 1:30 PM. Russ was very easy to work with, he was quick to call me back when I had a question. He responded very quickly to any questions from me, and went out of his way to make sure I was pleased with their work. I learned a great deal just talking with him and would encourage other people to ask questions if they had them.

I went online to research the major asphalt shingles manufacturers which included Certainteed, Owens Corning and GAF. After considering the pros and cons, and certifications I chose GAF Timberline HD architectural shingles. A big factor in my decision was the Golden Pledge 50 Year Warranty with 25-year warranty on labor if their shingles were installed by GAF Master Elite Factory Certified Roofing Contractor and Installer. It is my understanding that only one percent of contractors are GAF Master Elite Factory Certified Roofing Contractors and installers, I did an indepth analysis of reviews listed on Angie's List with this certification, and as my final decision, I selected Timothy's Roofing Incorporated. After reviewing and looking at roofs they installed, I contacted their Sales Manager, Russ Robertson, concerning the various aspects of materials, color, and installation, Russ was so helpful and patient in determining our consideration of the above. We obtained several bids but no one appeared as responsive in assisting us in making final decisions. Timothy Roofing reported on time and removed the old roof and felt without doing any damage to the bushes/ flowers, etc. The workman were master elite certified craftsmen, and they were very diligent during every detail during installation. I was very impressed with their skills and professionalism. After the project was totally completed, the clean-up was as if they had never been there. I would highly recommend Timothy Roofing to anyone interested in a quality product and outstanding workmanship. Our roof is picture perfect, and we have receive many compliments from our neighbors and people driving by. It is not easy to find a roofing contractor who considers the customers' needs a requirement while giving a fair and reasonable price compared to the other contractors I evaluated. Timothy's Roofing was recommended to us by a neighbor; the company has replaced roofs on several of the town homes in our Reston neighborhood. Not only was their estimate quite reasonable, but my neighbors were very satisfied with the work, and the GM, Russ, took the time to explain how and what he was going to do to replace our 20+ year old roof. They arrived on time and left the jobsite so clean I would have never known they were here. As a bonus, they didn't trample my landscaping and flower beds.

Excellent work, prompt service, and responsive communications. I highly recommend Timothy's Roofing and would hire them again in a heartbeat. My best home improvement experience. Just one example of their superior service: The supervisor put extra workers on the job on the weekend to get the roof finished before a predicted rain storm hit the area.

My roof is really steep. They had a good rating. I thought they were really, really good. They were top notch. I would use them again in a second. They also offer a lifetime warranty that could be passed on.

Russ from Timothy's roofing was very responsive, punctual, and very professional. He was able to estimate, answered my numerous questions, all within the 45 minute timeframe. He showed up within 1 day of my call. The entire visit took about 45 minutes. I discussed the roofing supplier (GAF) and mentioned that I was a little bit familiar with the product. He discussed my options we came to an agreement and they will be replacing my roof.

Russ showed up for the estimate on time, and quickly took a look around and agreed with what other companies said. Russ didn't waste any time, took measurements, calculated some things and gave me a price on the spot. I had 2 other companies provide estimates, gave me presentations and assured me that "it all depends what we find when we start tearing shingles off". Russ told me up front what to expect and that he can practically guarantee "no unexpected costs unless they find something catastrophic". After wasting 2 weeks to finally get prices from the others, it was clear Timothy's was going to win my business. Within a week, they were at work with a skilled crew. It took 2 full days, and even though they're coming back for the gutters, I'm ready to give them a glowing review. Russ quoted me quality products without up selling, including new skylights. As expected, since I was getting new decking there were no surprises, other than them offering to do the shed for a few hundred extra. A pleasant surprise for a meager amount. Readers, I can only tell you that Timothy's is a straight forward company that has been roofing for a very long time. While other roofers were shocked and said "I've never seen a roof with double plywood", Russ was not suprised and has seen it all. They fixed my house up right. And the best part of it all is that the price was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the other Master Elite roofers. I mean drastically lower, by the order of 33%. I just paid $19k to write this review, and it was worth every penny. Timothy's should be your only call. Save time, cut the B.S., get an incredible price, and a top notch installation. Look no further for a roofer.

The services provided by Timothy’s Roofing Company, Inc. were exceptional in every way! They installed a new asphalt shingle roof and I could not be more pleased with the “final” product and the manner in which they performed their work. The following applies: REQUEST FOR A QUOTE – They were very responsive to my call and were here within two hours to provide an estimate. They provided a drive-by on four houses they worked on in the neighborhood, as examples of their work. Very impressive! PROMPTNESS – They arrived on the date and at the time agreed upon. MATERIALS – All materials were delivered ahead of time; and their trucks were fully equipped; and there were no wasted materials at job completion. EXPERIENCE – Their mechanics and technicians were experienced, long-time employees and most professional in their work and demeanor. Shortcuts taken by the previous contractor (years ago) were pointed out and corrected; this explained issues I had been experiencing – but thankfully no more! CLEAN UP – All old roofing and residue were completely removed. There was no damage to shrubs or lawn and no roof residue was in evidence after they departed. PRIDE – Their finished product was impressive and met my expectations. This is a reflection of the pride they take in their work. All edge shingles were cleanly cut and other shingles well fitted around vent collars and chimney flashing. I love the ridge vents they installed. PRICE – Work was performed at the estimated price; there were no attempts to “up-price” or sell extra services for the work. I received four quotes and found their price (while not the cheapest) to be fair while providing the best value. They also provided a few small courtesy extras at no additional charge. This was noted and very much appreciated! . Timothy’s Roofing was very thorough, in their site survey, in describing what they would do and the materials that would be used. I’m more than satisfied with the quality of the materials used and the way they were expertly installed. I researched the products they recommended online and found their information to be spot-on. My old roof was 25 years old and the updated technology in under-lay material has changed significantly for the better and they were patient in explaining the benefits from these materials with their installation. BOTTOM LINE – I’m glad I used them; will use them again and highly recommend this company and their work. I have no doubt they would be responsive to any call back issues and resolve them to my satisfaction. Customer service appears to be their hallmark and a job well done… their signature “dish”!

Very well. They sent Russ out to give us a quote; were helpful as we navigated the HOA; and put the new roof on promptly. We had to replace some of the plywood underneath the roof causing our price to increase but we were prepared by them that this might be the case.

I highly recommend Timothy's Roofing. The process went very well! I worked with Russ throughout the entire process. He was responsive, honest, and easy to work with. Timothy's Roofing is a GAF Master Elite Contractors which beyond a good credential, enabled me to obtain a 25 year LABOR warranty through GAF. From start to finish, Russ, was on top of things. When I received a competitive bid from another company, he took time with me to go line by line through the other company's estimate and pointed out things that I hadn't noticed. It's not been a little over two months since my new roof was installed and I haven't noticed any issues. It give me piece of mind to know that I chose an accredited local company to do the work and they did a great job! I would definitely recommend Timothy's Roofing to friends and family. They do superb work. I didn't want to write a review right away because I wanted to see how the roof handled rain and snow.

Russ clearly knows the business and home improvement from top to bottom. He and the company are literally 'in the neighborhood' but they also feel like a neighbor when dealing with customers. This was not only true of myself and my wife - but also in his interactions with other neighbors who came and asked about our renovation - and resulted in asking about projects needed on their own homes. He stayed in contact contact with us throughout the project and ensured that we were comfortable every step of the way. He was even comfortable with us going to the local supplier to pick out our own entry, screen and patio doors - which is way better than looking at a catalog or online. The size of our project was massive - but Luis and the team made it seem easy from start to finish. They take pride in their work and it shows. There are beams that extend from both ends of our roof which were not exactly identical in size - Luis took the extra time to restore them so that in the finish product looked better than when the house was originally built. We decided to close in several areas that previously had windows - once again Luis and the team ensured that the inside work was ready for drywall - making it easier for my interior contractor to complete that portion of the work. There were also a few structural challenges with out home that came into play - which were not actually part of the original deal . . . but Russ and Luis evaluated the situation and decided that the extra hours of labor needed to 'make it right' were worth it to have a better overall finished project in the end. I really cannot say enough good things about this experience with the entire team from Timothy's Roofing - these guys are just awesome. If you are looking for any of the services that they provide - you will be glad that you contacted them. If we have other projects in the future - we will certainly be calling Russ right from the start!

I had Timothy’s Roofing replace my roof just under a year ago. Since then I have noticed a stain on my master bedroom getting larger so I thought I should have Timothy’s out to look at the stain and check the attic to see where the leak was coming from. I have been trying for over two weeks now to have them come out and just look at the issue. I have been flexible and patient with the timing of their scheduling. At first they said they would come out over the weekend but cancelled because it was too windy. Not sure what the wind has to do with being in the my attic to assess the problem. The Timothy’s said they would come out the following week, which has since come and gone. I have tried contacting Timothy's a number of times with no further responses from them. It would seem that since the work was done and the money paid they do not feel they have any obligation to existing clients. For this reason I would NOT recommend using Timothy’s Roofing Company.

Excellent! Really took care to thoroughly inspect a problem area on the roof-- also cleaned gutters. Great service-- would definitely use again!
