They did a good job. Scheduling was good, I had a date that I needed it done by and they met that. Three people did the work and they finished in an hour.

Responsive, professional and flexible (we added a few more things at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us on the spot, even though it meant sending out an employee to deliver extra moving blankets). We are planning to use Quality again and also for long-term storage.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went very well. The company worked with my timeframe to deliver the supplies. There was one item they ran out of, but they delivered the remainder very promptly, and exactly when they said they would. When I am ready to complete my local move, I will definitely talk to this company.

The 2 men who came to remove the boxes and furniture were very friendly and very professional.  They were very careful with furniture items and also careful with walls and corners.  Was very pleased with the results.

Awesome experience.  Was moving out of the state when this deal came up and was worth every penny.  I had to use another provider to physically move stuff through my employer, and their prices for packaging materials were outrageous and they had really crappy customer service, so I when I saw this deal to get materials through someone else, I jumped on it.
Service was excellent - showed up when they said they would, and still treated us with top-notch respect even though we weren't using them to move their stuff (I think this deal is a loss-leader or at minimum lead generator as they offer free quote).  Threw in some extra paper and an extra wardrobe box. 
All materials of super high quality and would not hesitate to buy again or use these guys to move.  A+ in my book.

The man who came out from Services Moving was really nice. He was great. He came, delivered them to the house. He was very nice and friendly. He was quite happy to put the boxes wherever I wanted them in the house.

Initially, they were slow to respond and return my phone calls. Then there was a bit of unwanted pressure to purchase additional services. For the price of the packing materials, I would give them a B. It was reasonable. However, the quote to pack and move everything was very high.

They did an excellent job. They were very professional and the gentlemen that were there were very  did everything in a timely manner. We could not have been happier. The last day we had a rainstorm and they kept packiny everything up.

That was great. It was my first time using Angie's List so when I placed the order I expected the Moving service company to contact me within 2 days of making the order and it was like 2 weeks and a half and I still hadn't received any phone call. I had to contact them several times and had to have them dig through their records to find me, so that was kind of stressful. I don't know why it happened but otherwise everything went great. I ended up spending the exact value of the deal.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was fine. They called me right away after I called them, and they delivered the packing boxes in a couple of days, and the guy was pleasant. I haven't moved yet, so I may consider them when I move.The price of the big deal was good.

That went fine; they did come. A couple of the boxes were damaged, but the guy came out the next day and replaced them. They did come out a little later than the guy had promised. He came by after hours. They had messed up the order. He did show up with them. They did make good on it. Price wise it was a good deal. They were very responsive. I would use them again.

Prior to the move, we had difficulty reaching the people coordinating our move. We did not know the plan until the day before the pack day and received NO information on how to best prepare for the packers. We organized everything and the 4 person crew was very nice but inexperienced. I walked around, answered questions, gave specific instructions on what to write on the boxes, but that was not done.  At the end of the packing, I opened the front closet and it was full. The packers literally threw coats and shoes into a wardrobe box and stuffed a few expensive jackets in an open box with boots and blankets!  I did not see this being done but found out when unpacking.  They did not wrap lamp shades so we have 5 damaged shades.  Boxes mislabeled so we could not find essentials for days and had to buy more. For example: BOOKS/OFFICE was actual bathroom supplies. Bottom line - untrained crew with a crew boss who did not check on the others. She stayed in the kitchen and dining room and nicely packed the breakables but did check on crew.  
Movers the next day were very nice but they put garage/shed items in wardrobe boxes with no labels so all those boxes ended up in our guest bedroom. The movers also placed heavy items on top of furniture in the warehouse breaking a lateral file, part of a desk, lamp and scratching furniture.
The move-in crew at the new house did not communicate well.  Did not read the boxes and put them in wrong rooms.  And, very heavy boxes, marked heavy, were placed on top. The dropped a desk drawer and broke it but that was an accident. Nice guys like the others but not properly trained.  We contacted Quality Services about the boxes and demanded they send someone to relocate the heavy boxes to the shed and to correct rooms. We are unable to lift heavy boxes which is why we hired movers!  It took a week to get a crew out, so we lost another week of unpacking time.  The second crew was excellent and actually knew what to do.  They got everything done within an hour and covered the wood floors (we asked the other crews but they did not have floor pads or cloth!). Our floors are scratched too. 
We have filed a claim for the broken and damaged items but if we receive compensation it will in no way take care of the time and money lost during the past 3 weeks.  Lost work hours, buying duplicate items, and extreme frustration for the entire family.  I am still trying to have a conversation with Andy Graves but we have not been able to talk yet.  The claims person is very nice.
I really wanted to give them an F but the company did OK in a few areas.

We had used Quality Services Movers in 2010 when moving from a commercial townhouse in Dupont Circle, and I knew they would do a great job when we needed to move again to an even larger office downtown.  We thought the estimate was thorough and very fair, and we were thrilled to see three trucks and a dozen of their guys show up on the morning of our move!
Everyone at Quality Services was helpful from beginning to end.  When I went to their facility on a Saturday morning to pick up some boxes, one of the warehouse guys stopped what he was doing to help me load them in my car.  When we hadn?t finished disassembling furniture on the morning of the move, their team took care of it for us.  The team leads were extremely organized, and the entire crew worked like a well-oiled machine.  I was amazed that the move to our new 5,000 square foot office was completed in just a few hours? time.
I would recommend using Quality Services?and their efficient crew?to anyone in the DC area who might be looking for a good moving company.

Absolutely call Quality Service Moving!  We received three bids to move.  Craig Little came over with a smile on his face and confidence in getting the job bid correctly.  He was spot on.  His bid beat the others by a lot.  Further, when the move-out crew showed up, they had a system that moved rapidly.  Each person was strong, pleasant and worked well with each other.  Everything was loaded except one wall mirror.  (read on)
The deliver came the next day on time.  One crew member (the crew chief) stayed with our belonging.  The other men were equally strong, pleasant and worked well with each other.  They were patient with us as we determined where to place each piece and even offered to move certain items around to our liking ~~ with a smile!  Our beds were put together and our lives were back on-track.  When we realized one mirror was missing, I called Craig Little.  After checking every possible place, Craig went back to our old house, knocked on the door and retrieved the missing mirror - and then delivered it!
What a relief it was.  I plan to use Quality Service Moving again when my parent relocates and I've already referred them to two other customer. 

My friends reported:   WOW!! No wonder QSM is the number one rated independent mover in the world.  We moved from Alexandria Virginia to Austin Texas in late April, and we had to leave on a Tuesday afternoon before the truck was loaded in order to make the drive to Austin so we could close on a home Thursday morning.  In addition to household goods, they also moved both of our cars.  That worked out great as we put all that mileage on a rental car instead.  
Truck issues the morning of the move had slowed things to a crawl, and I was in a panic about leaving on time (and missing the Washington, DC traffic!). The team, led by Joe Madison, OUR HERO, Jorge, and Horacio packed our valuable art collection and our remaining household goods without our being present, so we could get on the road. We felt comfortable that we could trust them to get the job done right.  As we had hoped, they were amazing!  Because of some challenges encountered, QSM promised that our household goods would be delivered early in Austin.  True to their word, our truck arrived almost week ahead of schedule. We were thrilled!  Andy Graves, thanks so much for your help and also thanks to Ben Knowlton for handling our calls with professionalism and calm reassurance.  Just what we needed!   QSM rocks!

Everything went well.  They were very professional and did a good job of handling my belongings with care.

The movers themselves were great. However, several pieces of furniture were damaged and my Vespa was completely destroyed.  What's worse is that it took nearly 5 months for someone to review my claim, and the person that I was attempting to contact was no longer with the company.
