most of the good reviews are from previous company Dwyer.. furr bought company then fire the entire staff.. and treat good workers like trash.. so they force good works out.. then hire unexperenced technicians to pay them less.

Richard Shaw, the Technician handling the work, was wonderful-- professional and friendly. He arrived on the early end of the time frame I was given. He used covers for his shoes, which doesn't always happen. He knowledgeably answered all my questions. Mr. Shaw suggested an annual contract which will save me money over the long run. I look forward to working with him again.

They did a good job for us and were available and able to come quickly.

Snake a drain

Positive experience with using Dwyer to inspect our boiler before the start of winter. Easy to schedule and the technician was prompt, appeared thorough, and was easy to deal with.

Men called ahead, showed up on time, got the work done ahead of schedule, were quiet, friendly and neat, and left without leaving a mess. They stayed long enough to make sure the system was working well. We were really impressed.

Excellent- the flood in my basement was determined there was a back up from the sewer line. Right away the plumber called the specialized team to bring equipment to check the sewer line. A break was found on my property. I was given the estimate, which was less than I expected. The next morning they arrived with the heavy equipment, located the break and completed the repair.

The initial phone call was courteous and professional. The plumber arrived early. He was courteous and professional. I had a kitchen faucet that had hot water pouring out. The plumber told me there were several additional leaks under my sink and he replaced two valves. He told me he would have to order a new faucet and return to install it, which I agreed to. I asked about the new faucet and he said he would have to order it special because an overhanging ledge over my sink necessitated a certain size faucet. I agreed. Charge for 1st visit and valve replacement was $280. The plumber returned 2 days later with the new faucet and removed the old one and installed it in less than an hour. The charge for this included a charge for $500 just for the new faucet! When I asked about the price, he repeated his previous explanation that this special faucet was necessary because of an overhanging ledge above my sink. I paid it, then after he left checked Home Depot that had numerous kitchen sink faucets that would have fit my sink (measurements were the same for length and depth) and the area above it in the price range of $29 - 49. I assume that because I'm an elderly woman living alone it was thought that I wouldn't know that $500 for that faucet was a rip-off. I did. I wouldn't call Dwyer plumbing again for anything. If you're a woman or an older person, beware.

These guys are wonderful! My heater broke the Friday before the long Christmas weekend. And it's freezing here! They came right away, the same day! Showed up when they said they would, gave me an estimate and fixed the thing right away. So now I'm wrapping presents in a happy, warm house, instead of scrambling to buy space heaters at the Home Depot and blowing my fuse box. Thank you Dwyer for being a big part of my merry Christmas!

They did a fine job repairing a sewer pump. They attempted to have me replace my sump pump as well, but I declined. I probably would not use them again based on feeling they were not completely honest with me about needing my sump pump replaced.

I called to get an estimate. The lady answered right away and was friendly. We went through all the details to set the appointment. Just as I was about to hang up, she tells me there's a fee for an estimate. I'm serious about getting a humidifier and I'm not paying for and estimate. I'll move along to another plumber.

Was great, Was an after hours call. He called me back with in minutes of me calling the company. He listened to my problem, clearly explained the pricing for after hours to be sure i understood. He came out faster then his estimated time of arrival. He diagnosed the problem and replaced the valve much faster then i anticipated. He showed me the bad part after and gave me an invoice to use for my insurance company right away. Was great experience with a friendly plumber that seemed to care about getting it all fixed and stopping the leak for me.

It went very well. After another team had come out and been unable to identify the source of the leak, Nabil (from the HVAC side of the business) was able to correctly diagnose the leak source as the humidifier within about 10 seconds of entering the mechanical closet. Nabil and his assistant corrected all the associated problems within 45 minutes. Both Nabil and his assistant did an EXCELLENT job and brought us some much-needed peace of mind.

He checked for water damage in ceiling in laundry room. No leaking pipes but leak was found coming from hairline cracks in shower in master bathroom above laundry room which was dripping down drywall in closet under stairs. He explained what I need to do.

Excellent workmanship (after hiring a friend of a friend who did poorly)-excellent discussion of pricing, great manners and very through! Will definitely use again!!
