Sam came out and measured the doors, and explained the installation process to me. He showed me an example of the Haas door that would be installed, along with the color chip to make sure the color would match our paint. He provided a brochure so I could pick out the window type I wanted. The price He is running as a special on Angie's List is very good: $1399 for two doors, with labor and the hardware included. The windows and window inserts are extra, but only an extra $280 total for two windows. The total cost was way below two other estimates I got from other companies. The two young men who came to install were prompt and professional. They worked efficacy entry and were done in about 2 hours. They made sure each door was working exactly right with my existing door openers, and that the doors were adjusted correctly. They took away the old doors and cleaned up after themselves. Sam made a follow up phone call to make sure that the installation had gone smoothly and I was satisfied. Nice touch! Good warranty on the doors, very good insulation rating on the doors also (R 13.5) compared to Clopay doors.

Excellent service. Advanced garage showed up at the appointed time to measure our existing doors and show us the type of doors available. The rep even turned around after leaving to show us the color palate again when we had more questions. The install took place at the given time and we love our new doors. Great communication during all stages of our small project.

The provider scheduled appointment, came out with opener, and realized he would need to customize a shorter rail. He came back three days late with a different brand of opener, noted that it was still too long and stated that he would have to "cut" the cover in half to make it fit. He later stated that he would need to cut more of the cover, and light would not work. The provider then stated that he did not feel it was a appropriate to cut down the so much, and offered to install a more expensive option, for an additional $160. Having already paid for the installation, I agreed, and the provider returned a few days later and completed the work.

I had a couple of quotes and definitely I got the best quote from Sam. The guys showed up on time and replaced my garage door within an hour. They also hauled away my old garage door with no extra cost.

Sam came to my home to provide me with a free estimate. He showed me a brochure so that I could see the available choices. He also walked with me so he could point out some of the specific differences in the types of garage doors in my neighborhood. He was very patient and thorough. I later emailed him with photos of the options that I chose. He helped me narrow down my choices and agreed to come back to write up the order a few days later. Once ordered, it took approximately three weeks for the doors to arrive. Sam sent his technicians, Aaron and Jason, to do the install. They were very polite and professional. They assisted me with deciding on the placement of the door hardware. They then explained to me, in detail, the operation and upkeep of the doors. I am very satisfied.

The deal was $799 but adding windows cost an extra $100. They added a 2-layer door plus a key lock (rather than an inside lock) for free. The contacted me within 2 days and we set up a time a few days later to discuss details. The door was installed the next week on the scheduled day while I was at work. No issues. I am satisfied with the door and installation.

So it was 4:30 on Wednesday evening when my mother called and told me her garage door was stuck half-way down. It wouldn't budge. The company she called said they wouldn't come out until Friday. So at 4:30 I called Sam at Advanced Garage Doors. Sam said he'd get a truck out to her within 30 minutes. He arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem, did some extra fine-tuning on the door, and hauled away some old garage door equipment that he hadn't even replaced. This is the kind of professional we all want to rely on. Peace of mind! We'll keep Sam and Advanced Garage Doors in mind when we need to buy a new door down the road.

My garage had been broken for weeks. I finally decided to try out Angie's list and I'm so glad I did!! I was able to get an appointment for the very next day and Sam fixed my door better than new! It is now quieter and runs smoother than it did when I bought the house brand new 6 years ago! He was awesome and was very quick!! I would absolutely recommend AGD LLC and use them in the future!

I called the Advanced Garage Doors on Monday and requested to have the service done on Tuesday. They agreed to come at my requested time. The technician arrived withing the time window, promptly changed the springs, lubricated the parts, and gave me some tips on how to maintain the door. They also gave me warranty on the parts and labor and assured me that if there were any issues, they will come back to fix it. I was very happy with their service.

Sam was punctual and very professional. He did a great job installing our new opener and bracket, and he tuned up and lubricated our aging garage door hardware. The job took a couple of hours, but Sam still took the time to thoroughly explain the operation of the new opener and accessories. In short, this was a fantastic experience. I'd definitely use Advanced Garage Doors again for any garage-related issues.

the tech was prompt, and in person, communicated clearly. the door is noticeably quieter and functions much more smoothly now. there was no sales pitch for other services, and it was a pleasant, professional experience. the only reason we gave "B" for professionalism rather than "A" grade was that there was a bit of miscommunication or having to repeat to different people the same information during phone contacts prior to actual service visit everyone was polite and helpful. we were glad to be able to take advantage of this special Angies List deal

Advanced Garage Doors LLC repaired one garage door (broken springs) and replaced a second. They did a great job at a fair price, and were very knowledgeable. We would definitely go to them first with any future garage door issues.

They came out the same day. The technician was great and very skilled. He tried to repair our broken garage door opener first. He expressed an interest in saving us money from the start. When it could not be repaired (and trust me, he tried everything) he showed me the worn parts and problem, gave me a variety of options, listened to me when I explained how we use separate doors for my wife and my car, and then recommended the perfect system for us. Had the new opener on his truck )along with the other options so we could look at each one). Installed the new system in less than 30 minutes (working alone I might add). Very refreshing to have some A+ service from a company for a change. Like most people, we have learned to accept the unacceptable when it comes to service ( late arrivals, missed appointments, cost higher than estimated, etc. These folks have the customer service/quality part nailed. We will absolutely use them again when my door fails....which I am sure will be any day now after 14 years.

I called at 630 am because we couldn't raise our garage door. They said they would be here in half an hour which turned into more than an hour and a half. The roads were still snowy due to a large storm the previous day so they get a pass on that. They were here about 1.5 hours, were professional, courteous and thorough. They diagnosed the problem right away. (essentially no maintenance done on the door in many years) To be fair, i hadn't researched the prices for garage door repair, but i found the cost of new springs ($300) to be rather high. In all, i would definitely recommend this company.

Affordable Garage Doors coordinated date and time of the appointment the day before. Sam and his able assistant arrived on time. Sam inspected my door, confirmed in writing the price and work we had discussed over the phone. He and his assistant were in a blue uniform shirts that identified the company and were extremely polite and professional. He immediately got down to work. I decided to replace the rollers and get a full tune up to ensure the door continued to operate well. After working on my very heavy door, they confirmed that 25 year old door was fine and advised me against replacing it as it was still very serviceable and better than most of the newer doors now on the market. I will have Sam back my detached garage needs any door repairs and recommend him without hesitation to my friends and neighbors. I like dealing with small independents who are honest and hardworking like Sam.

I called Sam when my 12 yr old garage door opener suddenly died on me. Sam promised to stop by on the same day after finishing a job he's working on. He kept his promise, even though he finished the other job after 7pm. After many attempts to rescue the old opener, he determined that it's time to get a new one. He accompanied me to the Lowe's, and helped pick an opener with all the features I liked. He then replaced the old with the new, and did a thorough job testing everything. He also provided a bonus tune-up service. He then took the time to show me how to re-set passcode on the wireless unit, among other things. He cleaned up everything before he left, and offered to come back if any adjustments needed. I highly recommend Sam to anyone who has garage door service needs. His price was way below others (I spent almost the same amount for just a tune-up in the spring). And the quality of his work was top notch. He's honest, and worked as hard as anyone I know. I received many compliments on how quiet and smooth my garage door with the new opener moves. And I thank Sam for that.
