Spoke to Plumb Crazy concerning a tankless water heater and sump pump back up. They were very informative and helpful with all my questions and concerns. Very happy so far!...

I called Plumb Crazy because my disposal had stopped working and I needed it fixed. I was throwing a wedding shower that day adn things were crazy. They came over within 10 minutes and fixed it on a Saturday and did not charge me for the emergency service. He also showed me what to do myself next time and left me a tool to do it with. Super helpful and responsive!!

They were very friendly and take a lot of care in their work. The employees who are there have been there for quite a while. They repair what’s needed and don’t try to sell me on unnecessary repairs. They were very responsive as this happened on a weekend. We had called our normal plumber and they were not able to come out. They came out and handled the situation quickly and professionally. Great experience. After checking Angie's List for a plumber, I sent an e-mail to the company requesting help and received a call back within two hours to schedule an appointment. Since it wasn't an emergency, I scheduled an appointment for the following day. Their technician (Scott) arrived on time, identified the issue, provided a quote, replaced the pipe, and left the area clean. Scott was professional and pleasant. Recommend the company to all.

Scott was fantastic. I went to the store and purchased the products he recommended (Plumb Crazy provides the garbage disposals as well, but at Scott's recommendation, I bought one from Home Depot to save $50). We had another provider come in and provide an estimate, and although the estimate was higher and I would have much preferred to go with Plumb Crazy, by the time the estimate was received Scott had already arrived to another job site (other customer left work to facilitate the apt so Scott could not reschedule it). I would have waited to have PB perform work tomorrow, but I may have to work and can't risk leaving a leaky sink until I'm available next week. For the same work I had performed, Plumb Crazy was $80 cheaper ($540 vs $470), and Plumb Crazy's service calls are $59 rather than $69. All around, Scott from Plumb Crazy was fantastic and I will absolutely go with him for any and all plumbing work we have in the future. I definitely recommend him and his company for his honestly, responsiveness and professionalism.

Very responsive. Came to the site within 2 hours of phone call on a Saturday. Arrived in a timely manner to perform the work the following Monday. The fee for this service was a bit high, but the workmanship was very good. Suggest getting a few other quotes to keep them in line. Otherwise, very satisfied with their work.

They called me back and asked me some questions about what was going on. They gave me a preliminary diagnosis of the problem and asked me to check/try some simple things prior to having them come out. It was totally refreshing to have a company provide that kind of help over the phone and at no cost. Great to know that they put their customers a head of making a quick buck.

toilet didnt seem to fill properly. in addition unit would not flush completely. ended up being more cost effective to replace than repair. new unit flushes and fills like i had hoped

Absolutely terrible and terrifying. Strongly advise against using this company, especially if you are a woman alone.

Scott and his guys are great. Over the last couple of years they have replaced a garbage disposal, fix the hot water in an upstairs shower and fixed a leak under my kitchen sink. Always on time, follow instructions and the price is fair. They are the best.

My kitchen sink sprung a leak last year near the p-trap. I 'fixed' it by using more plumbing tape. Last Thursday the same spot sprung a leak. I tried plumbing dope and tape; nothing worked. I called 3 plumbers and only Scott (Plumb-Crazy) said he could come on Saturday. He also suggested some ways to fix it myself. I took his advice and tried to fix it myself...again. So Thursday night I tried again and Friday I came home from work and it had leaked again. I called Scott back and he said he could still come Saturday. I sent Scott some photos of the existing plumbing and he called back and said it didn't look good (the previous plumber did a bad job). He said he'd be at the house by 2; he showed up at 12:45. He and Johnny (his coworker) went to work and an hour later they had pretty much ripped out the existing plumbing and put a new system in. He and Johnny were very nice and worked efficiently. I'll definitely keep Plumb Crazy on speed dial for any future needs. Thanks Scott and Johnny!

Our Basement flooded badly during Sandy due to failed dry well - which our laundry, sink and shower in basement, along with any water draining into basement drained into. We had been told that the floor drainage system was connected to the town sewer system. NOT. The owner of Plumb Crazy researched finding the sump pump system we wanted - one that had a secondary system that ran off of a battery when power was lost. They also found out why the drain system wasn't working properly - an old dry well system that had collapsed. It was definitely not connected to the town sewer lines as we had been told. The owner and employees of Plumb Crazy were responsive, on time and ended up having to jackhammer a hole into solid bedrock under our basement cement floor to install the sump pump equipment. A big surprise that resulted in about 10 hours of jackhammering. We were amazed at the employee's willingness to keep going for those long hours until the necessary hole was completed. Of course this resulted in an invoice for this additional work over and above the original estimate. Willingly paid. The new sump pump system exceeds our expectations and is working very well (much better than past slow draining problems). It is now correctly connected to the town sewer system. Great because we pay for sewer costs based on water usage. Additionally, they corrected an improperly installed drain pipe to our kitchen sink, which they noticed when working in basement on plumbing. This company is one we can unreservedly recommend and have done so to a friend who had a flood emergency in his basement - they responded very quickly and satisfactorily for him too. The owner is very responsive and knowledgeable and his employees really know their job and offered us excellent input/advise on another plumbing problem.

I was really looking forward to doing business with these guys for some non-emergency work. When I spoke them on the phone they advised that they can't provide quotes over the phone because they charge by the job....that sounded fine, but then they wanted $60 in gas to drive over and provide a quote (price does go toward the service, but this pretty much forces you to use them). When I acted a bit surprised they were going to charge me for a quote, I was told "well we're not going to waste gas providing quotes for free"...I half-hazardly mentioned it didn't seem like a good way to get business and the reply was "we've got plenty"..., I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Conversation was short and tech was not very knowledgeable. He did not know how much it would be for a new construction toilet/single sink hook up. He said it could be $1000. I would stay away.....

It was a great overall experience. They called right back and came out the same day that I had the problem. They were able to get the water heater and install it the very next day (which is great because I hate taking cold showers!!). They were very tidy and cleaned everything after they were done. Very nice guys!

I discovered that my sump pump failed in the middle of Hurricane Sandy at around 8 PM Monday night. I went out in the storm looking for a new pump, but Lowes and Home Depot had closed an hour earlier. When I returned, water was seeping in all around the basement, and I had to move a bunch of stuff upstairs. Finally, at about 9:30 or 10 PM, I took a chance and called Plumb Crazy, even though I figured they were either closed due to the storm, or so overbooked that they would not fit me in. To my surprise, they answered, and said that there were a couple jobs ahead of me, but they would be here as soon as they could. The plumber (Johnny) arrived less than 2.5 hours later, while the storm was still raging, and promptly replaced the sump pump. It is working great - catching up with the influx of water, and now (a half hour after he left), it appears to be ahead of the deluge and the water is receding all around the basement walls, where there had previously been 1 - 2 inches of water. While I will still have to replace the carpet and have days of drying out ahead of me, at least I can go to bed knowing that the flood will not get any worse. I was afraid that I would be waking up to a foot or more of water in the basement. These guys are my heroes!

All of the work went smoothly and was done well. Both Scott and Johnny patiently answered my many questions about faucets and shower heads, elbows and valves, gave suggestions, and really tried to make sure that I would be satisfied with the end result, i.e., they didn't just stick a shower head up and not consider how appropriate the position of the bar would be. I was consulted and ultimately the new one was removed and the old one re-installed since I would have been less than satisfied - not because of their work - but because the part didn't really fit my shower space. I was always treated with dignity and understanding while I pondered my decision. My situation wasn't an emergency so Scott suggested I call Moen about my kitchen faucet's warranty; I was able to get a new (and better) replacement faucet which saved me approximately $240.

A very nice young man arrived at my home about an hour after my phone call, doubled checked the bathtub faucet's lack of running hot water to confirm the over-the-phone diagnosis, then went straight to work. The faucet has been put to use and works perfectly. I'm very happy with this experience. I gave the price a B because I think $234 seems like a lot of money for the part and less than an hour's work, but I really don't know if it's the norm or not. The original price was $259, but I had a $25 coupon that was applied to the balance, thereby making my cost $234.

The job went well. They arrived in the window given, quickly assessed the issue and were able to get the job done that same day. The whole experience from start to finish was very professional and of the utmost quality.
