The Upholstery Shop

After 12 years, the seat cushions of my family room couch and loveseat had become very squished and looked terrible. The upholstery shop made me new foam inserts and did a fantastic job. These pieces look so much better now - must less expensive to fix the seat cushions vs. replacing the furniture.

They did an excellent job... they took an old ugly sofa and modernized it.. the workmanship is impressive... they know what there craft.. I supplied the fabric.

They did a fantastic job with the chair and I will return!

Magnificently. Upholstery shop gave me a price over the phone, I brought in the overlarge cushions, badly out of shape, and with velcro tabs for securing to wrought iron bergere chair & ottoman. All were covered first in batting, returned to original shape, and recovered (with self-piping). Everything turned out far better than I thought. They're better than perfect, and I wish I'd learned about them sooner.

Excellent in all respects. They have a great selection of fabrics to choose from. We are already planning to use them again.

After trying unsuccessfully to cover the very worn leather on my prized Stokke Gravity chair I've had since 1990 I entrusted it to Eddie to recover with Naugahyde. I took the arms out first to see how well it would turn out and happy with the results took the rest of the chair out to his shop in Herndon. The work was done in a timely fashion and Eddie was easy to communicate with via email. I'm very pleased with the results, especially since the chair is no longer available in the form I have.

We had 3 chairs done at a time. The first 3 took 2 weeks, the 2nd 3 may have taken a week longer or so. The chairs came out beautifully...

I have received the settee and it looks beautiful. The side chair is still being worked on. The settee looks beautiful. The price was better than other quotes I received, and the work was completed much faster than I anticipated. I am so pleased that I am going to have two other club chairs reupholstered.

We met with Jeffery Colon in his shop in Herndon in December, 2015. He was very accommodating and helpful. After understanding our needs based on the photos we had brought of our couches, he generated an estimate of the cost of the job. The price was acceptable, although more than we had envisioned. However, we decided to go with The Upholstery Shop while there in the shop. 
Jeffery was helpful in showing us all the possible fabrics we might consider. He then gave us 7 books of swatches to take home to consider. Two days later we had selected a fabric to our liking and informed Jeffery. Because we would be out of town in January, we requested that the work take place then. There was some confusion about pickup of the couches (3 weeks after we placed the order) by Eddie. Nonetheless we arranged for someone to meed Eddie at our home for pickup while we were away.
In mid January Jeffery notified us that the job was complete and requested when it might be delivered. Again, because we were away, we had to arrange for someone to receive them. Upon our return, we were very pleased to find that The Upholstery Shop had done a great job. We have no complaints and are pleased with our new couches and ottoman. I would recommend them for any reupholstery job without hesitation.

Great!  Almost 8 months later and the seat cushions are holding up well.  I highly recommend Mr. Eddie Colon.  I found him using Angie's List.  Another great referral.  The only issue I have is with the 5% off for all Angie's List members.  I never received it.  In fact, I sent a followup e-mail to him dated October 13, 2015 and never heard back from Mr. Colon.  :(   The work he did was so wonderful I would use his services again.
