They were spectacular. Very polite, very professional, very down to business. They expressed everything that we expect out of a real American corporation.

The price was reasonable. They worked with us because we had our own fabric. They were done in a timely manner. The quality was great.

Things went very well. When I received the chair, there were a couple of touch items that not done, they return the chair to the shop and it was completed without any problems and redelivered to me the next week.

I had sunroom furniture, what I wanted him to do was make a new set of cushions. They took them apart, when I wanted to keep them. They did re-imburse me $300 for them. If you take cushions in to be re-done, be sure to communicate exactly what you wanted done.

It went great. I would recommend them and use them again.

They worked within our price budget. Provided different examples of material and helped with the final decision. Also provided options for hanging the drapes. The final product satisfies our needs. No regrets.

I wanted to have the chair re-upholstered in similar fabric that was on the chair....I was shown several samples and was able to pick one out that was very close to the one on the chair....chair was re-upholstered and new brass tacks were put around the arms and trim of the chair....it came out very nicely.... Very helpful and professional service.

The upholstering work is top notch! The stool is very solid and nice. The pillows are beautiful. There were some issues but we are happy with the work in the end. A true mark of any business is how they take care of the issues and here is where they excelled. The chair and pillows were delivered a week late (no call that it would not be on time). The stool, which had to be custom made was much later than that (was promised the same time as the chair). There was a problem with the stool. I am not sure where the measurements for the stool height were obtained (though I admit it was signed off on) but the stool was several inches higher than the chair seat. I am surprised someone did not notice when they had the chair and before making the stool but it was not desirable when it was delivered. However, they totally reworked the stool to make it the right height. This required reconfiguring the stool and then taking the feet off later. The stool is solid and looks great with the chair. Fixing the stool, which had been signed off on, was done at their expense to make my mother happy. The markdown on professionalism is because they were not very communicative (my mom had to call them almost every time to find out about missed deliveries).

First, the staff was very helpful in helping me chose the fabric. They looked through fabric books and chose fabrics that they thought would be a good match. The workmanship on the finished chairs was first rate.

very personable and prices are good. the only hitch was a decision made between available options without consulting me after what had been agreed upon turned out not to be possible. but when i said i would have preferred another alternative, they redid that part of the work without any objection on their part. i would definitely use them again.

Very happy with the service provided

I delivered the backs and seats for two kitchen chairs to The Upholstery Shop, selected the covering I wanted, and provided a deposit. They said it would be ready in three weeks and finished right on time. The workmanship was quite good and I would use them again.

Our experience was very good. They are very knowledgable and efficient.

They helped me decide on what material to use as filler for the sofa cushion backs. They gave me the cost and a date that they hoped to have the job completed. They did complete the job on the date given. I was very pleased with their work and one of the staff carried the cushions to my car for me. I would definitely use them again.

My cushions were in need adding some filling in them. They were timely. The cushions look great and were returned very clean. Now when I sit on the couch, it’s much more comfortable. The customer service was great. They were just really friendly people.

This old rocking chair was in terrible condition, but it was the one I rocked my children in so I didn't want to just throw it away. The Upholstery Shop did a great job. They were able to make a piece of fabric I already had work perfectly even though it was a little smaller than they would have preferred! The chair is now very attractive and comfortable.

My inexpensive sofa was too firm. Eddie replaced the foam and coils with a good quality latex foam. The cushions are now very comfortable. I got just what I wanted. The guys are great. The shop is great too. Beautiful fabrics for window treatments, pillow or any home dec project as well as upholstery use are discounted. I would recommend this shop and would use it again.

I had gone shopping for new family room furniture and just couldn't find anything that my family liked, plus most new furniture was either way too big for the room or "apartment style" furniture that wouldn't comfortably hold my family. Since we all love our old couch for naps and curling up in the oversized chair to read, they begged me to find a way to keep them. My caveat was that the cost had to be reasonable and that the pieces needed to be updated in some way. I called The Upholstery Shop, and Eddie suggested I take pictures of the furniture (including the legs since I thought I might want to remove the skirts) and bring them in for him to look at. After reviewing the pictures, listening to me very carefully and asking a bunch of good questions, Eddie gave me a straightforward quote right away, so that I would know whether reupholstering versus buying new made sense. He also helped me to understand what to look for in determining whether the pieces were still in good enough shape to warrant the cost of reupholstering. Once I decided to go forward, he helped me identify fabrics that would hold up well in a family room, and his staff even calmly helped me destress when I hit "fabric overload". They all have a good eye for color and patterns, and help you stay on track when the possibilities seem endless. I was able to take home several fabrics and live with them for a few days until I found something we all really liked. I never felt rushed by any of the staff to just make a choice and move on. They understand that you are going to be living with your furniture and want to get it right. Eddie told me it that once my order was placed, the process would take about five weeks total: three to get the fabrics in stock, and two weeks to reupholster the furniture. This was exactly the case for my fabric and furniture -- and it looks stunning! Eddie even added zippers to all the cushions so everything is easier to remove and clean, if needed. He also adjusted the sizing of the extra lumbar pillow I ordered so that it was a better fit for the chair. The quality of his work is fantastic, and being able to choose from a large variety of fabrics was great. This was a very cost-effective way to get custom furniture for my home and in a relatively short time frame. (In comparison, most new furniture where I wanted to pick the fabrics would have taken 8-12 weeks to get delivered and cost at least $500 more.) One note: they only pick up and deliver furniture on Saturdays, but they give you an set time frame (generally a two-hour window) which they met both times for me.

I took the cushion and fabric to Eddie and he advised it would be approximately 2 weeks and that he would call when the new cover was ready. He called in exactly 2 weeks. I was very pleased with the beautiful workmanship of the new cushion and actually found it to be of better quality than the one made by the furniture manufacturer. Eddie was very professional and nice to work with. I highly recommend this shop. I have since had another cushion cover made.

They gave me the best estimate for my chair project. Price did not include the fabric, but did include retying the old springs in the seat. Took several weeks to complete, but definitely worth it.

EXCELLENT JOB DONE IN ESTIMATED TIME GIVEN. I LIKED THAT THEY WILL USE MY FABRIC RATHER THAN MAKE YOU FEEL YOU MUST PURCHASE FABRIC FROM THEM. I PLAN TO GO TO THEM AGAIN, AND AM SO HAPPY THEY ARE LISTED WITH ANGIE'S, WHICH GIVES ME CONFIDENCE THAT THEY ARE STILL PROVIDING QUALITY WORK.

They made it look so much like it's a regular upholster as opposed to a slip cover, it looks so good. They are very efficient and do very good quality work.
