The have a large selection. Prices seem a little high. Shawn worked with us to help us make our selections. Euro Stone also connected all the counter-mounted plumbing fixtures including the undercounter sinks. One of their representatives came out to measure, or 'template', the tops. He wasn't aware of all the countertops we were replacing (never learned why). He asked all the right questions and explained how the countertops would look (radii of curvature, overhangs, etc). He made his measurements photographically and sent us drawings a day or so later. We checked them, asked a few questions, and gave our approval, or so we thought. The delivery of the countertops was delayed about ten days from the day we were told by our remodelling contractor to expect them. We never learned what happened but there was a breakdown in communications between Euro Stone and the remodelling contractor. We discovered this ourselves and prodded the two companies to talk to eachother. Euro Stone came back to us on a couple of additional occasions asking for confirmation that their drawings were OK. Seemed like an overabundance of caution on their part but then I don't have a quantity of mistakes for sale at reduced prices. The installation went smoothly.

"Thank you for your comments, Member. As you mentioned, we were a subcontractor in this transaction. Unfortunately, we have no control over a contractor's response time and how much they charge for our products and services. I am glad everything at the end came to your liking and look forward to seeing you again in the near future. It was a pleasure working with you."

Pretty well -- the whole process took only a couple weeks, and they were pretty quick with the turnaround from templating to installing. It seemed pretty expensive for the amount of soapstone that we got, but I thought the service was pleasant and their responsiveness was good.
Response from Euro Stone Craft

"Thank you for comments. Of course, Soapstone is not an inexpensive stone compared to Granite. I am glad your were pleased with our service. Thank you again for your valued business and I hope you will consider us again for your future projects. Shawn"

After I received my initial estimate from EuroStoneCraft, I had my questions regarding certain parts of it, which I assume many customrs experience prior to contractual locking themselves into a large expenditure. As the old saying goes, I don't mind helping the contractor pay his mortgage, but I sure don't want to buy their house for them". One of the questions that I had pertained to the excessive hours (rate) the were estimated for actions that are very short in nature (e.g. disconnect sink/faucet/dw hoses and then reconnect when the sink is installed). As I pointed these types of charges out to them they made me aware that they only utilize "skilled craftsmen" (my guess is that's lingo for the ability to overcharge) and that they do not use "day labor personnel" (I'm not sure what they were alluding to here but I will give them the benefit of the doubt that it was once again a reason to overcharge). Now the ironic part, after all of their taking offense at a customer suggesting that the rates seem high (can you imagine a customer trying to get a better deal, what was I thinkin') I received a revised estimate from EuroSportCraft, one that was $600 less than the original estimate that they submitted. I'm not a psychic, by that action surely validated my initial perception that the rates were a little high. If they had not taken such an offensive front from the beginning and said, yep we probably can reduce our price a little it probably would have been a happy ending. Instead they made it a personal attack than made everyone unhappy and I was most disappointed that that had to drag my sweet wife into all their attack offensive. Here is another turn in the story, pretty much immediately after we had received this revised (and reduced) contractor, we were both verbally, (and in writting) notified by EuroStoneCraft that we had been DISMISSED as prespective clients and that the estimate that we had just received had been rescinded which almost appears that the reduced estimate was just a facade.

"Dear Member, Thank you for taking the time and writing your comments. Your comment and feedback is very important to us. First of all, I am very sorry that we were not able to earn your business and please accept my apology if we came across as being over priced. The fact is that we do not offer plumbing services directly. We just offer it as a service for customers who are looking for a turn-key solution with their countertop replacement. The plumbers we hire all have Master Plumber license, insured, and bonded. We cannot hire a handyman to offer these services as our reputaton is on line. I hope you will consider us again in the future and giving us an opportunity. Best, Shawn"

I had a bad experience with this company. My contractor spoke to him and tried to purchase an item at a agreed price, but the guy from Euro Stone Craft backed out of the deal. They were dismissive and no help to me. Their customer service was very poor and I would highly recommend that customers stay away from this company. I will not use this company in the future.

"Dear Member, Thank you for your comments. I searched your name in our database and we have no records of ever giving you an estimate or working with you. Per your comment, you did indicate that you had been working with a contractor and not us. We have no control what a contractor charges you. I am sorry that we left a bad impression. Shawn"

It's unbelievable the amount of slabs they have on-site for us to choose from! All the work (cutting, polishing, etc) is done in house with a very modern machine – the same type that makes aircraft parts – so it is very accurate. The sales person we worked with was very helpful, friendly and was able to answer our questions. We also got a discount per square foot, a discount for the edge (about the ¼ of the price Lowe’s or Home Depot charges) and a free large sink. The person who came out to measure used modern equipment so I knew the measurements were going to be perfect (which they were). I went back to the location to look at the slab and see exactly where they were going to put the seam. The president of the company stopped what he was working on and grabbed a roll of tape and marked on the slab what part of the counter would be where (with my input of course) and it showed up cut in the exact locations we marked! The granite was installed the day I wanted it to be (easy to work with regarding the schedule). The installers were about 30 minutes later than the appointment time, but I was called ahead of time so I knew to expect them a bit later. The reason for the delay was due to the stone I picked and an issue with taking more time to make sure the edges were perfect. I’d gladly take showing up 30 minutes later rather than the edges not being perfect! The installers did a great job and answered all my questions. Their plumber wasn’t able to hook up the faucet and cooktop the same day due to the lateness of the day, but he came out first thing the next morning and after about 3 hours he had everything hooked up and running perfectly. I worked with about 6 different people throughout this process and they were all extremely professional and helpful. We are going to use them for our next project – master bathroom countertops. I’ve already checked their prices against Lowe’s and they are about half as much!!

The installers arrived on time and started right to work. It took two hours, during which I was working from home in the next room. The main installer came and told me they were done and I went in to look at it. I was disappointed in the attitude of the installer - he never asked if I was satisfied - just said "finished!" It wasn't - there was a huge gap between the granite backsplash and the tile above it, and he was going to leave it and told me I could put in grout or fill it with white or brown caulk (this for a gap between sand beige tile and dark green granite). I called Randy and told him I was not happy, and he apparently advised the installer to shim it up. He did, and then told me it was "finished" again. I told him I expected it to be truly finished, and leaving a raw gap between tile and granite was not my idea of finished, since I was not prepared to put in grout or caulk it myself - it was my understanding that the job would be turnkey. I had to ask him if he had clear caulk, which he did, and then finished it. He was obviously very unhappy that I expected him to do a good job. I was also unhappy to receive a call from the office later that day that the plumber was unable to come and reinstall the faucet and disposal the same day (as promised). When I asked whether they could get someone else, I was told that they use only one. When he did come, he did a nice job and cleaned up after himself, which was appreciated.

"Dear Member, Thank you for your constructive comments and feedback. I am truly sorry about your bad experience with our installer. Their action was certainly not acceptable, and we have since provided additional training to our installers and put everyone on notice that will not follow our high standards of customer service. Thank you again for your feedback. Best, Shawn"

After searching for some time to find a company to replace our countertop we settled on Euro Stone Craft. We were impressed with their showroom and adjoining shop and with Shawn Daghigh who helped us through the process of choosing what was right for us. After a state-of-the-art measurment their estimate came in significantly lower than two other estimates that we received. The downgrade on punctuality concerned them not getting back to us after our initial contact (however, gave us free edge upgrade for that miscue), and not informing us that they were coming to install the countertop (fortunately we were home). Duke and his crew did an excellent job installing the countertop. A misunderstanding concerning the backsplash was quickly handled to our satisfaction.

They were great communicators and were very reliable. Their price was reasonable and competitive with everyone else's. They did a quality job, and they came back and fixed any issues we had.
