Ben and his crew did a fantastic job. The materials and labor were first rate, and the price was substantially better than all other contractors I interviewed.

Ben is a man of his word, very responsive and personable. He oversees one roof-a-day, his team replaced my entire roof working non-stop in about 10 hours. They also followed CertainTeed's Integrity process and material guidelines. Ben and his team (including Susan, the receptionist) made the entire process as smooth and headache-free as-possible. His integrity is a rarity, it's also excellent "service with a smile". His website says: "We roof your home as if it was our own..." and his company actually does what it says. Highly recommend!!

Ben and Dulles Roofing were perfection from start to finish. A friend recommended his company and he was the least expensive of 5 companies. I usually don’t use the least expensive company but my friend and his friend both highly recommended Dulles Roofing. I am so glad I did! Susan who answered the phone was a gem! And Ben was always so responsive, genuine and pleasant in every way. He kept thanking me for my business and I felt like I had known him forever. Ben and his team were meticulous. He only does 1 house per day and he has an incredible foreman and team. I loved the fact that he does quality over quantity. With the big companies I heard stories about issues with their work and quality control lacking. Ben was on-site the entire day and showed me his work from drone pictures and answered all of my questions. There was an old satellite cable hanging from my house or my neighbors house. Ben got back up on the ladder once I confirmed it was an old cable and could be snipped. His and his team’s attention to detail impressed me, and I have high expectations. And the best part is that he, Susan and his team were all so incredibly pleasant and helpful. I have already recommended Dulles Roofing to several friends!

It was a great pleasure to work with Ben Burnie from the very time I spoke to him on the phone in Summer 2020 for a price proposal and then again recently. I found Ben as a thorough professional meaning that he was exceptionally responsive, ethical, courteous, and immersive. He was personally involved at the onset of work when material deliveries came, kept an eye on his otherwise well-trained crew through the course of work, and then inspected the work quality at the completion of work. His mannerism and approach to the project did not go unnoticed as my neighbor mentioned a day later about his interaction with Ben and exclaimed that he too would have no hesitation in referring Dulles Roofing to other homeowners who are seeking to replace their roofs. Examples of Ben’s straightforward and ethical approach: (1) Did not require all homeowners to be present as two other companies demanded (for mainly marketing and influencing purpose); (2) Accurate and ethical satellite estimate of the roof area (which he attached to a simple, not wordsmithed, proposal). This in contrast to another company which cushioned their proposal by 23% disingenuously (using the same satellite company and not attaching their printed roof area with the proposal).

Everything happened when promised or sooner. Work site cleanup was exceptional. The business owner was a pleasure to work with. He explained the work and responded to questions with clarity, brevity, and courtesy. He was willing to tackle of couple of small items beyond re-shingling. Altogether my experience was exceptional.

I worked with Ben at Dulles Roofing to have a new roof installed on my house in Sterling Park. When I had him over to do the estimate, he listened carefully, had thoughtful suggestions about materials and finishing touches and was conversational and easy to work with. He delivered a very competitive and complete bid. He was forthright about the likelihood of needing several sheets of new sheathing plywood--due to the age of the house and damage to the existing roof--and built a buffer into his bid for that. I gave him the go-ahead, the job proceeded flawlessly and he completed it without a hitch. Later, as I completed renovations inside the house, I needed more roof penetrations. He came back to do that and was very reasonable about opening the brand new roof he'd just installed in order to install additional fittings. I have no reservations about recommending Dulles Roofing for anyone needing roof work and would not hesitate to do business with them again.

Totally exceeded what is normal for replacing a roof. Ben's communication was clear and responsive. He is an extremely helpful person who provides conscientious guidance on roofing materials, problem resolution, and has a great deal of knowledge. The team was fantastic. Ben personally provided the on site inspection and estimate. he was knowledgeable, on time and courteous. The price Ben quoted was very fair and reasonable and was the lowest of those I obtained. The work was scheduled promptly; the crew showed up on time and Ben was on the property before during and after the work. The quality of the work was superb, the roofers were careful and neat and the work looks first rate. I would use Dulles Roofing any time I had work they do.

Ben's team were right on schedule and completed all elements of this job in a timely and efficient manner. As this is and old house, areas of concern or difficulty were addressed early or as job progressed. A final home inspection cleared any further concerns or questions on the completed work. The house looks 100% better than before work was done.

Fantastic experience working with Ben at Dulles Roofing. I got a number of quotes but went with Ben because his price was fair and his website was excellent but mainly because after speaking with him my gut told me that I could trust him. He and his team were the model of efficiency, professionalism and teamwork. Communication was great, answered all of my questions, never pushy. The roof looks great and the yard was completely cleaned up afterwards. If you need roof work do yourself a favor and work with them.

We are SO happy with the roofing job we received from Dulles Roofing. Ben was wonderful to work with as we organized our payment method and determined the right time for the work to be done. Even during the Corona Crisis, they were punctual and completely professional. We were impressed when Ben even made suggestions on alternative ways that we could save money. They did a beautiful job on the roof and an excellent cleanup!

Ben was friendly, informative, and responsive throughout the entire process. We unfortunately had to deal with some weather delays, but he kept me posted the entire time and was able to replace our roof as soon as it cleared up. He and his crew did a fantastic job, our roof looks incredible!

Ben from Dulles Roofing was fantastic to work with! We hired Dulles to replace our aging roof, and the work and communication was excellent. We live away from our home in Leesburg, so we were unable to meet in person. Ben did a great job of keeping us in the loop and informed of what was going on. Our tenants only had good things to say about the roofing crew. Bonus: Dulles Roofing was also the cheapest quote we received, but close to $3000.

The job was well executed on all fronts. Being an architect, I hold more scrutiny to construction work than most home owners. Ben Burnie with Dulles Roofing had no qualms with that and in fact stepped up and took extra pride and care in his work. He shared photos of what not to do, and photos of his install, explaining how to do it best. There was no huge binder of previously built projects or lengthy sales pitches. His candidness, professional manner, and character are what ultimately convinced us to choose him. As a bonus, his pricing was lower than other roofers we got quotes from. I can't recommend Dulles roofing enough, and find that they stand out in area where construction professionals often fall short on what they say they'll deliver.

If I had to get a new roof on another house, Ben / Dulles Roofing would be my first call. He did a great job on my roof. He was patient with all of my questions, walked me through all the details, gave good advice, and his team did a nice job.

Best experience with a contractor we’ve ever had! Ben Burnie, (owner) was very pleasant, extremely knowledgeable, and responded quickly if we had any questions. He was onsite and working with his team during the entire replacement of our roof. That is unusual these days! I can not say enough good things about Ben and very highly recommend him. I just wish he did more than roofs because I would hire him for all our needs!

Ben was a pleasure to work with. We needed to get a new roof in preparation for getting solar panels. I got several estimates. His price was very reasonable. He gave me a detailed proposal and answered all my questions. The job was completed in less than one day. The next day, we noticed some gutters that were a bit dented and crooked. Ben came back and fixed it up, even providing new gutter guards at no additional charge. I would definitely recommend Dulles Roofing.

Extremely well. A new roof was done 4 years ago and there was a lot of moisture in the house with even a leak. The other company didn't even pull up the old underlying paper when they put the new shingles down. Dulles Roofing did it right, as I was watching them most of the time. They did it in a day, including adding a new fan. I feel they did a top notch job and would recommend them highly.
