The brake light came on so we made an appt with a local dealership that is open on Saturdays. The dealership personnel are very professional. We dropped off our car, got a rental for the day, picked up the car several hours later. They replaced the front pads and rotors. They also provided an evaluation of preventive maintenance that they suggested be done which came to about $4600.

. 75,000 mile service (plugs, air filter, engine diagnostic, oil and filter change, serpentine belt assessment)
We got a second opinion from another dealership who told us the upper control arm bushing was fine, the cowl didn't need to be flushed, and that the serpentine belt looked good. Our thoughts are that West Broad Audi was following a recommended service at a particular mileage chart and being proactive, however, we want a recommendation of what needs to be addressed now, and what might need to be addressed in the near future - not a $4600 preventive maintenance suggestion.

I hadn't been to the Audi dealer in a while, but only because of the cost. They are WAY more expensive than any other place I have priced for the same stuff. They seem to do a good job, though, and they are nice. My first beef with them when I moved to town was no Saturday hours. It is a great place to sit and wait for your car, too. Totally confortable. I also don't feel like they try to sell me things when I am there. If it were not for the prices, I would take my car there all the time.

West Broad did great work and I was very pleased. I have used them for years and they have never tried to do more work than what I needed. I think that they are very honest and reliable. I did have a short wait but nothing that was overly annoying or uncalled for.
