Description of Work: We ordered a leather sectional couch, coffee table and end table on 5/27/ 2012. The leather couch was custom made so we were told it would take 60-90 days. I called in the middle of August of check on the status of our order and was told by a woman in the office that the order couldn't be found. After talking to the store manager, Michael, who was also our salesman, he said he found our order and it would take another 4-6 weeks!! October rolled around and we still had no couch... Michael was no longer working at the store and the new manager said it would still be a few more weeks.... so he gave us a loaner couch as well as delivery of the coffee table and end table. During this conversation we learned that our couch had not even been started because the manufacturer had never been paid..... side note, we paid for the entire purchase in May when we placed the order. Very very very long story... our couch was finally delivered today, December 1, 2012. Most pitiful experience we've ever had. We spoke with people at Thomasville Corporate headquarters multiple times also, and they didn't seem surprised that we had to wait 6 months for a couch that was supposed to take 60-90 days. I always thought of Thomasville as a reputable furniture store but I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

Not well. We will never step foot in that store again after we finish this transaction.
Description of Work: The fabric on our $5300.00 couch and love seat fell apart and because it took so long for any kind of customer service to happen. We now have to pay another $800.00 (price increases!) for our reselect on the fabric. We talked to everyone we could talk to and basically they will not help at all. We started this process in May 2008 and it is now October 2008!

We purchased the furniture from Thomasville in the West End of Richmond just before Thanksgiving 2005. It was delivered just after New Years Day 2006. There were numerous things wrong; the chairs weren't the ones we ordered, one of the glass shelves had a big chip in it, the skirt of the table was separated from the table top, and within two weeks long cracks developed going down both sides of the dry goods cabinet. Well for $10,000 I expected everything to be great. It took two weeks before anyone at Thomasville returned my call. The man I spoke with told me he would take care of it personally. Two more weeks go by and he's "no longer with them" and they have no record of my problem. The glass shelf came within a month. I had to threaten legal action to get the chairs and dry goods cabinet reordered. Its October of 06 and I'm still waiting on the replacement cabinet. The store manager I was dealing with is "no longer with them" either.
Description of Work: We purchased a dining room set, large table, ten chairs, china cabinet, and a dry goods cabinet. We love the look and design of this furniture but were shocked at how we were treated when problems arose.
