Pro-Fitness Repair

I had a couple of different experiences with Shannon. First time, all good - would rate A. Second time, nightmare. Shannon came to move my treadmill from one room to another. He severed a harness accidentally. His normal part supplier didn't have the part but I found what was described as the right replacement & ordered it myself. When he came to put it on, it had the wrong connector (female/male was reversed). He took the part I ordered & said he could take it to Best Buy & get the guys there to change it out. Said it would take a couple of days. That was early Dec. 2016. Never heard from him or saw him again. Reached out - nothing. Finally, in desperation, I called & left a msg. a few weeks ago. He responded - said he would come by Friday after T-giving. Didn't show. I waited all day long, changed plans, emailed him - to no avail. He finally texted & said he didn't make it to town when he thought - was supposedly arriving Fri. He never responded to say when he could come by and never did show or communicate on Friday or for the rest of the weekend. The repair would have taken about 20 min or so. Now, I'm out the $40 I spent on the part and my treadmill has been sitting in pieces since last Dec.

He was so very knowledgeable - much more than any other fitness equipment repair professional I've utilized in the past. My only regret is that I didn't find him sooner. He went out of his way to accommodate my schedule (first repair person I've had to actually show up when he said he would & give me updates on his arrival time), putting that first, even agreeing to come out on the weekend if needed. He was able to diagnose the problem, fix it immediately, and give me so much information on the care and maintenance of my new treadmill. He explained everything so that I understood what the problem was, what he had done, what to look for in the future should I have any concerns. A truly skilled and consummate professional, who was kind, compassionate, and friendly. I'm so relieved to know I can call on him any time.

This was my first time using this company. Found on Angie's list. Shannon got back to me promptly and performed work next day. He was very professional and knowledgable and able to perform the needed maintenance within an hour. His pricing was more than reasonable. $65 for visit and work. I have added him to my list of exceptional contractors and will use him for all my future treadmill repair needs. He is also a military veteran. I highly recommend this company.

He was reliable. He came out when he said he was and he was very pleasant and trustworthy.

MY TREADMILL BELT WAS SLIPPING AND I WASN'T SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS SINCE IT COULD BE THE BELT, THE REAR ROLLER, THE MOTOR, THE MOTOR BELT, ETC. I NEEDED A PROFESSIONAL. SHANNON, OF PRO-FITNESS REPAIR PROVED TO BE THAT PERSON. FIRST OF ALL, HE WAS GOING TO BE A FEW MINUTES LATE AND HAD THE COURTESY TO CALL ME AND LET ME KNOW THAT. WHEN HE DID ARRIVE, HE WAS FRIENDLY AND IMMEDIATELY SHOWED A WILLINGNESS TO LISTEN TO MY OWN ASSESSMENT AND QUESTIONS. HE CHECKED THE TREADMILL THOROUGHLY AND DETERMINED THAT THE BELT SIMPLY NEEDED ADJUSTMENT. HE DID THAT AND THEN PROVIDED ME SUGGESTIONS THAT I SHOULD TAKE TO KEEP THE MACHINE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER. I TOOK NOTE THAT HE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY AS DO ALL REPAIR PEOPLE TO TELL ME THAT I NEEDED SOMETHING ELSE; BUT, HE DIDN'T. INSTEAD, HE ACTUALLY CHARGED ME LESS THAN HE QUOTED ME. HE EVEN SAID THAT HE WOULD RETURN AT NO COST IF THE BELT NEEDED TO BE TWEAKED AFTER I HAD USED IF FOR A LITTLE WHILE. MY EXPERIENCE WITH SHANNON OF PRO-FITNESS REPAIR WAS BETTER THAN I COULD EVER EXPECT AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM.

Throughout the time he worked, he indicated where the parts were failing, and why. My husband and I were certain that we would need to replace the treadmill deck due to the worn pockets in the wood. Shannon said it wasn't necessary, that he could flip the deck to the other side, therefore buying us perhaps another 2-3 years. Needless to say, we were thrilled. The total cost for Shannon's labor and some washers came to $120, a great deal less than the cost we were expecting. Shannon provided quality work at a great price, and I was able to check this to-do items off my list faster than I thought possible. We highly recommend him!
