Little Appliance is incredibly efficient, friendly, and above all, supportive. We needed to replace our microwave and electric oven. Yet we have a gas cooktop – an old one with a gas line and regulator that needed to be moved. The old gas line blocked where the new oven should be. Even though it took appointments from a few plumbers and inspectors, and then, a few friendly, helpful visits from Little Appliance, they installed it! The oven and microwave look great and work faultlessly. We thank Matt, Mark, and the crew at Little Appliance.

We purchased a new Amana side by side refrigerator from Mark Reynolds at Little Appliance and had the unit installed by Matt and Kyle. We could not be more pleased with the exceptional service provided by Mark, Matt, and Kyle. This was after we purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot and was promised delivery, installation and disposal of the old refrigerator. The Home Depot delivery guys would not install the unit because "We're not licensed to do plumbing work." I called the store and was advised I would have to get my own plumber to do the installation. NOT WHAT THE HOME DEPOT SALESMAN TOLD US! Home Depot's customer service is as bad as Little Appliance is good.

It went very well, because even though the dish washer was working now the repair man gave me possible options for what to do if it started to not work again. Very helpful information!

They are a small operation with quality service and sales. They are a quality outfit, but is a small operation compared to a big box store.

It was the best purchase he and his wife had made in quite a few years. It was on sale, and there was a holiday special, so they got it for $150 which was fantastic because it was listed at about $429. It was cheaper to buy the new microwave than it would have been to repair their old microwave which had failed and was full of dust. He loves that it's a small business and they have great service. They said they would be at his home on Tuesday at 12pm and they were. They are very punctual and get overnight delivery from manufacturers they represent. For a small shop they have all of the features. Usually their prices are a little higher, but they believe in service and their level of expertise for quality. He gives them an "A" all round and he will continue to use them in the future.

They ended up ordering the wrong part. Thankfully there was no charge since he ordered the wrong part. I decided to use someone else after that.

Oven baking element flamed out. Little Appliance repairman was very quick and responsive, coming out within 24 hours (2 days before Christmas). He was punctual, neat, professional, efficient, and courteous; he quickly found the source of the problem (a short in the junction box wiring behind the oven, not the oven itself), and told me how to get an electrician to deal with it. Apologized for not being able to fix it himself, as it did not involve the appliance and he was not an electrician. Very honest.

We have large (48 cf) built-in freezer/fridge, and the freezer part went south - soft ice cream, auto ice maker only made 2 cubes/day. After scouring the city for someone to fix it, all deferred such a large built-in except Little Appliance (perhaps a contradictiion in terms?). First they came out, made the diagnosis of the problem in about 3 minutes, ordered the parts, and within a week came back to fix it, all of which they did pleasantly, efficiently, neatly, and professionally. More expensive than I was expecting, but after pricing a new similar unit, it would have cost 5 x as much, so glad we got it fixed. Working great now!

The service from Little Appliance has generally been good but this was my first non-warranty repair. The technician was there for between 45-60 minutes. I was puzzled to see that the bill included a $69 service charge and $50 labor charge. I called and was told that the $69 charge is for the diagnosis the labor is separate. I asked if they waived the $69 charge if I already knew what the problem was and, of course, the answer was "No". So beware that a service call from Little Appliance is $69 + parts + $50/half hour of labor...I was actually being done a favor that I was only charge for 30 minutes.

I called several and none of them would service my washing machine and they were the only ones who responded. They were friendly and professional over the phone.

The work is still pending completion, but I felt a review was necessary at this point as I am extremely disappointed in the responsiveness of the office worker/scheduler based on 3 scheduling errors delaying repair of our microwave. I would have called someone else by now, but Little Appliance is the only provider I've found that can work on my appliance. The first time I called to schedule (on a Wed), the scheduler told me a technician would not be available until the following Wed (which was fine). I called the Tuesday before to check on the window of time for service and to also see if the technician could look at our ice maker. The scheduler called back on Wed (the day I was told a technician would come) and she said the technician was not scheduled to come until Fri. After already waiting a week, this was a disappointment and a miscommunication on her part, but only 2 more days so I was ok with that. On Fri, Will, the technician, showed up promptly and fixed the ice maker but said that a second appt would be required because he was unable to finish diagnosing the problem with the microwave without another person or lift equipment (the microwave is large and very heavy). I paid for the service call and Will said he would put in a ticket to reschedule with ample time and also with the necessary extra person or additional equipment. I expected the scheduler would call back to confirm a second appointment. After 2 or 3 days, I called the scheduler to confirm the next appointment and she seemed confused and had to dig up the ticket with all of Will's notes. We then scheduled a second appt for another week out (today) and she just called to let me know that she had lost the original ticket and did not realize Will needed the additional time to work on the microwave (which he had documented) and that she would have to reschedule for ANOTHER week out. At this point, I feel her errors and the delays they cause are unacceptable and others should be informed. If you do repair business with Little Appliance, I recommend following up with them regarding your appointment (excessively or more than what should be required) to make sure you are not greatly inconvenienced. On the flip side of this review, I have no reason to believe they can not fix my microwave and do a reasonable job. Will seems very prefessional and capable.

I had used Little Appliance previously for years and their customer service had always been exemplary. I don't know what happened today except that I possibly had one of the worst in-home customer experiences I'd suffer in a long time. I had received the confirmation call days in advance. I was told the technician would arrive during a four hour window and so I would get a call first. No call came but the technician did show up during that timeframe. I said something to the technician, and noticed that he was surly. When he began working on the refrigerator, I asked him if he needed more light. I was ignored. I guess he did an assessment of the refrigerator and then provided the same diagnosis that I had received from an earlier and more professional technician. I said, I know that, and I had shared that with the office. I want the frig fixed. He seemed surprised, called in the office, wrote up the estimate and explained (again) what needed to be done and how much. By this time, I didn't feel he was competent enough to handle the task.
I had used Little Appliance before and have enjoyed fantastic customer service, but not today. I couldn't get that rude person out of my house fast enough. All I can think of is that I wasted $69.00 on some really bad customer service.
