They were wonderful. The tech explained how they worked and got it ready for the season. He also picked up every speck of dirt left behind.

Linda in the office was very nice and scheduled service for us. Our service tech, Nathan showed up on time and promptly began preparing the area, using a drop cloth to collect debris, and then began cleaning the gas logs, pilot light, etc. He cleaned and checked everything, and got our fireplace working properly. Nathan was very courteous and knowledgeable.

a little tardy, got job done in fair time, brought blankets to keep place clean, explained items and answered questions.

First of all I got an appointment for the plumber to arrive one to one and a half hours after I called, and this was not an emergency. He happened to be in my neighborhood, and secondly the cost for him checking the problem was $40.00 less than some other plumbers that I called on Angie's List. The plumber checked all washer hoses and connections and ran different cycles on the washing machine and said they weren't the problem. He said the problem was in the washer's shutoff valve that shuts the water off when a cycle is not running. He said the valve may have something stuck in it to prevent it from shutting off, and that it may clear out by itself after a few washing cycles. That is precisely what happened, it cleared itself after a few washing cycles and the problem is gone. Great diagnosis by the plumber. Will use them again.

After giving me a, frankly, ridiculous window of time, I took off work for a half day to meet them. After 2 hours, I called to get an eta for the service provider. I was told “he’ll come to you after his current appointment.” An hour later, they called back to say “sorry we’re going to have to cancel.” So I lose a half a day of pay fooling with extremely unprofessional people? My time is as valuable as theirs. There are too many plumbers in Richmond to deal with people so blatantly disrespectful of their customer’s time.

I filled out an email request On Monday 2/26/18 and was called with in a few hours. The lady I spoke with said they could do the work the next morning at 7:30 am and I said that was fine, I would be there. She then stated the cost would be $350.00, which I thought was steep but agreed any way so could get it done. My husband just didn’t have time to do it himself right now. The next morning the plumber still has not shown up by 8:15 am so I called. I spoke with Kristin when said he should be there and asked if she could call him and call me back, to which I agreed. She called me back with a couple of minutes and apologized stating the worker got the appointment mixed up and thought it was later but was on the way then. Well 40 minutes later he was still not there so I called back and told them to cancel it because I needed to go work. The lady I spoke to this time apologized and asked if I wanted to reschedule and I said no. I can’t tell you how the work quality was since nothing was done. Keep in mind their office is about one mile from my house. I strongly suggest they keep better tabs on their workers.

Very well. They got it working properly, fixed the remote and even cleaned the fireplace.

Once the appointment was scheduled, it went very well. The service professional quickly identified the problem, and had the parts on hand to get our hot water heater repaired immediately.

Tommy's team was prompt, polite, and quick. The technician, Marty, got the utility sink connected (properly!) with a solid solution that gives us confidence we won't have paint-y or any other dirty water spilling out onto our pantry floor again! Thanks, team!

Andy was very professional and friendly. We are new to the area and have never had a gas fireplace. I appreciated his attention to detail and making sure I understood how to operate my no vent fireplace safely and confidently. He even took the time to make the flame beautiful replacing lost embers and pointing out that we should move a painting we had hanging over the fireplace as it might get damaged from heat exposure. I appreciated his knowledge and kindness to both me and my dog. I would highly recommend and will be calling them again next fall for annual maintenance. Thank you Guirkin!

Pipes and faucet were replaced in a timely and professional manner. Representative was courteous and very helpful.

Guirkin charged $65 to come out and tell me I needed a new blower motor AND said the $65 would not be applied to the cost of replacing the motor. Cost for new motor from them would be over $600. I said no thanks. Called another company who said the problem was the capacitor. They were right and the cost was less than $60 for the call, labor and part.

The plumber came...inspected the hardware...did a little scaping on both the sink and the shower and then told me I needed to replace my entire shower handle and faucet for a cost of $375.00. They already charged a $95.00 service fee. I got someone else to come in and work on it. This service was not a service. It was extremely overpriced. I don't think he was here 15 minutes.

It went very well. The service was completed very quickly and we have a new Trane water pump that works very well and is quiet. The other services were also completed quickly and the whole process only took 3 days from signing of contract until work was completed. Highly recommend.

Both the office staff and the plumber who came out were very professional and knowledgeable. Our house is only two years old but apparently the plumbers who installed the faucets originally did not tighten them properly. This was a simple project but Marty took pride in his work, aligning the bathroom faucet perfectly.

Great. I called early Friday morning. The scheduler gave me a good estimate as to when their technician would arrive--instead of "I can call you a half-hour before he comes," or "It will be sometime within a 4-hour period." Andy came out mid-morning. He immediately spotted the problem and fixed it within a half hour. I asked him to perform a service check while he was here, which he did without trying to sell me something more than what I need (very different from other companies I have used). He detected a potential problem, but said we could monitor it to see if something else would have to be done at a later check. I asked to be put on a twice per year service schedule. They do not require a complicated contract which escalates in price every year, as many companies do.

My wife called in the morning and they did the work by that afternoon.

They canceled on me the first appointment but they did call to reschedule and I was very pleased with the service. They were knowledgeable and I found they do A/C service as well. I plan to use them Again.
