Description of Work: I have recently ordered floral bouquets for a cousin in NY from Blooms Today. The first time I placed the order I called them. The second time I did it on-line. Everything went flawlessly: delivery was done as requested, the flowers were beautiful and quite long lasting. My cousin was surprised and thrilled each time. The prices are reasonable. This is a very professional company and they aim to please. When my cousin was transferred from one facility to another, about a week later, the flowers went with her!

Terrible experience, call your local florist that will personally deliver your flowers.
Description of Work: This is not a retail florist! They take your money, keep a percentage of it and send a percentage to a hardworking local florist It's companies like this that are putting out the people who get their hands dirty. They also kept billing my credit card each month after I placed my order with them. Shady company. Does 1800Flowers own them too? Sure seems like it.

I told the entire story above, but overall it was a disaster and hurt so very badly at such an already painful time. Please let others know that Blooms Today cannot be relied upon and they are extremely unprofessional. I just cannot believe, with all the time they had, that they could not either get the required flowers or contact me and try to provide a floral arrangement that would have been equally suitable, even if it was not exactly what we wanted.
Description of Work: I placed an order on 16 Mar 2012 (online) for a delivery of a specific advertised floral arrangement my sister and I had chosen for our father's memorial service to be held yesterday, 28 Mar 2012. This floral arrangement was to be delivered to the Winter Park Masonic Lodge in Winter Park, FL no later than 1:00 pm 28 Mar 2012. The delivery -- despite the order confirmation sent via e-mail to me on 16 Mar 2012 -- was not made, with no pre-notification that morning (or even at any time between the 16th and and 28th of Mar 2012) before I had to leave home at 10:45 am yesterday morning, 28 Mar 2012. I came home many hours after the Masonic service and small family graveside service to find a message on my answering machine (made precisely at 4:04 pm) and two e-mail messages timed at 4:05 and 4:06 pm (the answering machine message and the two e-mails were made more than three hours after the required time we needed those flowers) notifiying me that none of the three florists they dealt with in Winter Park, FL were able to fill my order despite how long they had to pre-order the required arrangement components. I recommend that no one ever uses this service in the future as they are completely unreliable. No services were performed aside from the $14.99 contributed to the National Arbor Day Society to plant 5 trees (one for each of our father's five children) in our father's name.

I picked out my selection on-line. I selected the "Deluxe" option. I also paid an extra fee of $5.99 so that they would send the flowers within 4 hours. My friend did not receive the flowers yesterday. I called Blooms Today to tell them my friend didn't receive the flowers, so they said they would reimburse me. I finally found the flower shop that they sent the order to. I was charged a bunch of different extra fees. The $49 price included a "delivery fee" of $14, so I was actually only buying $35 worth of flowers. Then the local florists takes out a delivery fee also. The local shop did not see any remarks on the order saying it was a "deluxe" order. This company is a rip-off. Please call your local florist who will contact a local florist on your behalf, even for out of state deliveries! Any florist stops taking orders after 2:00. Between 5:00 and 6:00 is the normal delivery time for florists, you shouldn't have to pay extra.
Description of Work: I went on-line to have flowers delivered within 4 hours.

Ordered the flowers supposed to be delivered on Saturday the 5.19.07. The flowers were supposed to be dropped of on my back porch, but never were dropped off. So when I called them they marked August to be the delivery date. They took it off of my card but didn't offer anything else for reimbursement for not delivering the flowers. That was the first excuse that I got. They said they called, but always had the option to change flowers if they couldn't get the flowers I requested.

I called the day of the funeral at 9 am and asked if it could be their by 1 pm and they said no problem. I asked for specific multi-colored arrangements and I asked for bows. The first 2 flowers came at 2:30pm and the third didn't come until 5pm. They also were tiny arrangements without bows. The first 2 only had white flowers and the third only had red flowers. I called immediately to complain and they said to call back after I received the bill. When I got the bill I called and the girl said there was a delivery charge for each of the arrangements even though they all came from the same location. I asked for the phone number of the florist and she refused to give me the number and no one told me there was a delivery charge. She said that if I returned the flowers I could get my money back, but the flowers were at the funeral home and I was told to wait until my bill came. I was told that I would get a refund, but not told what that amount would be.
Description of Work: I purchased three separate arrangements for $300 for a funeral. They had a coupon that stated same day delivery and a $25 discount.
