Valley did a very professional job. Their estimator did a very thorough job of checking the roof, including going inside the attic where he identified a leak and rotten plywood sheathing. The office kept me informed about schedule and accomodated a change I requested. Their installation supervisor spoke to me every day during the job to explain what was planned and then what was accomplished that day. They were careful to not make a mess,unlike other roofing jobs I have had in the past. The roofing crew knew their business and wasted no time. The job took four and a half days as I have a very steep roof with five dormers, plus weather caused delays on two days. I will say they were the highest of three bids, but I accepted Valley because I wanted quality and did not want to fight for quality details during the job. There were no disagreements during the job. I am quite happy and would recommend Valley to anyone wanting a quality job.

I contacted Valley Roofing to perform an estimate on re-roofing our home. I initially contacted via their web link. Someone from their office called me back the next business day. When I called back, they were able to schedule the estimate at my earliest convenience. The gentleman who arrived to perform the estimate was 5 minutes early. He was courteous and professional, and assessed the roof from ground level, on the roof, and with a cursory glance through the attic access hole. The total estimate time took less than 15 minutes to provide an assessment of work that would be needed. He provided a written estimate within 2 hours of his visit via e-mail. Three levels of service were laid out with full comparative details of each.
For our needs another company in the area had an estimate that was less expensive by a few hundred dollars, so we did not choose to use Valley Roofing. However, their pricing was competitive, and had we desired a more premium level of roofing, they would have been our first choice.

Within several days notice, Alan Martin arrived at an agreed upon time to evaluate roofing related problems at my new home. Later that day he presented me with a detailed estimate and work proposal. I agreed to his proposal several days later, and work-3 days-commenced about two weeks later. A prior home inspection report had suggested the roofing related defects of the home were a crucial and likely expensive item that needed to be dealt with. Valley Roofing patiently explained their approach and the negatives including shingles immanently coming loose, and eventual water damage to the basement from inadequate drain spouts if corrective work weren't to be done. Also, suggested the positive of money saving gutter covers-less need for annual cleaning.
With work now completed my home faces fewer risks, and it looks great. At least the roofing portion.
I unreservedly recommend Alan Martin and his firm Valley Roofing.

My call was promptly returned ans they sent someone out within a day or two to estimate the job. They started the (Small) job within 2 days .The roofer broke some (old) siding that had to be replaced - as soon as it came in, he fixed the siding ( not necessarily his fault older siding covered the reopened site)
