I had a couple of problems with them and that is why I didn't hire them. They missed appointments and the guy that came out was kind of cocky and I didn't feel comfortable with them. The guy was looking at the roof and I was inside of the house and he got a personal phone call. He was saying that it was a nightmare roof and he really didn't want to do it. He was kind of a jerk. He missed the day that he was supposed to come out with the bid. He called and said he couldn't make it that day at the time that he was supposed to be here. He came out the next day and he was 1/2 hour late. I was not terribly impressed. I?m sure it is a good company, but the guy was just an idiot.

I haven't had the time to initiate it right now. They came out and gave me the quote in June 2009. They have done some work for me before.

It turned out acceptable. The work was done by outsiders, and no one inside the company came to look at it. They did call me a month later to make sure it was alright. Everything looks okay, but I would have appreciated if someone from the inside had come out to inspect the work before or when the project was completed.

It was fine, and it is not leaking anymore. It was difficult to schedule because of the weather, but that was not their fault. I was happy with them.

Very pleased overall. Roof leak was difficult to find because it only leaked when wind driven rain coming from a certain direction. Leak discovered and fixed. Original contractor put gutters on the building that were undersized for the amount of roof area. Water was overflowing from every rain. Larger gutters were installed and that has taken care of the problem.

It was fine. They did good work and I have no complaints. I would use them again.

Everything went well for the most part. I was not told about some flashing on dormers they put on, and I did not like them. I asked them to fix it and they charged me, which disappointed me. However, I do appreciate that they tried to make it right and I have them under contract to do some additional work to repair a leaking gable vent this spring.

The work they did was fine. They did not exactly fix our problem, but I am not displeased with the work they did. They fixed a leak, but it did not fix all of the leaks. Because they didn?t anticipate the other leak, repairing the other leak was outside of the scope of the contract. Therefore, they would have charged more to fix the leak, so they did not fix the problem we hired them to fix. Their price was high, and we had to wait several months between signing the contract and work beginning. We are not likely to use them again.

Except for some paint chips scattered on the ground you would never know the old, peeling gutters had been taken down.

This is a dream company. Everything they said they would do was done, done well and on time. As roofing is a "fair weather" business, they kept me posted on the changing start date.

They were professional, responsive and punctual. Their pricing was reasonable and the quality of their work was good.

Very expensive! Their initial estimate was 25% higher than the nearest competitor and double the estimates from two other contractors. The only way I could get them to reduce the price was by eliminating some of the proposed work ? no haggling here! Even so, I selected them based on the many positive reviews and my belief that I would be happy with the work performed. And while I?m no expert, it appears to me the quality of their work is impeccable ? I?m very happy with the finished product. Unfortunately, the overall experience was not as pleasing. There were a couple initial problems with the contract ? the work described and the warranty did not agree with what we had discussed. Both issues were quickly resolved to my satisfaction. The biggest problem I had was when the workman doing the trim pointed out that we had lost 3 or 4 shingles. I asked if they could just add the shingle repair to the work already in progress and was quoted a ?minimum repair charge? of $475. That?s an additional $475 to replace 3 or 4 shingles when they were already onsite doing $4100 worth of repairs! Of course, I expected to be charged, but not that much! I sent them an email complaining of poor customer service. In return I received a reply which explained they would need to bring in a whole different crew for the roof repairs. In the end I hired another company to replace the 3-4 missing shingles, plus additional shingles on the back of the house that had come loose, and to also repair failed seals on two vent pipes on the roof all for $100. I?ll use the $375 I saved for Christmas shopping! In the email complaint I describe above, I also mentioned that I would express my dissatisfaction over the shingle repair pricing situation when I submitted this review to Angie?s List. The response I got was not at all what I would expect from a professional. I can accept their pricing ? it?s up to them to charge what they see fit and I can take it or leave it. But I can?t accept a disrespectful correspondence from someone I?ve hired at great expense to do a job. More than any other reason, this is why I personally will not deal with this company in the future.

There was a storm last week so we had a water leak around the chimney. I called them and they were kind enough to come and check it out. They told me it wasn?t the problem with the roof. They are a decent company. I chose them because they were highly recommended on Angies list and there was a coupon available for using their service. The representative came out and took the measurement and typed up the estimate. The work went well. We had to put down a deposit and schedule the appointment a couple of weeks later because they were working on a lot of roofing job and waiting for the rain to hold of and so forth. They had sub-contracted the job out to some other company. The last time when he came out to inspect the leak around the chimney I asked the representative about it and he said all those workers went through the training with them. They didn?t want to work with their company as they had some benefit working with the other company like hourly wage , etc.

From start to finish, this company is represented by highly competent and motivated people. Initially, I contacted the company on line. I was called several hours later by an admin person who scheduled an appointment with Dave Phelps, one of their sales representatives. Dave arrived punctually, explained the various products this company uses, and provided two quotes. He came prepared: he verified the company?s license/insurance information, provided numerous references, and thoroughly answered our questions. To help us decide upon a shingle product, at our request, he provided a list of homes that had the shingle colors we were considering. The project manager for our roof was D*** Cohen who was punctual, professional, and personable. He was on site at various critical points in the job. The roof installers were careful and highly skilled. There is an incredible amount of debris produced when roofing shingles are removed but our yard was left in excellent shape. Everyone was easily accessible ? there were absolutely no disappearing acts. The cost varied from the estimate by $200-300 ? there was an area of damaged wood that needed to be replaced. We were advised upfront that replacement of damaged decking would result in additional cost. The roof system from The Roofing Company that we purchased carries a 20-year manufacturer?s warranty and is guaranteed up to 110 mph wind speeds. This company has an excellent reputation and works every day to maintain it. We are extremely pleased with the appearance and quality of the new roof.

Everything went very well. They did a great job, and they even had the roof inspected when they were done to make sure everything was done correctly. I was happy with their work and would use them again.

Company representatives were very professional, estimates were prepared and presented in detail-explaining precisely what would be done. They did an excellent job. All work was completed on time and clean up was excellent.

They came and assessed the problem, figuring out what was wrong and then fixed it. They were very professional. They exceeded my expectations in all areas! I would use them again and would recommend them to my friends.

They have managed to restore my faith in home improvement companies in the area as one that actually knows what they are doing! They did a first rate job! Prior to this I had contracted with some other companies that did horrible work. This company from start to finish was professional, just first rate. They were fast and courteous, spelling everything out and leaving nothing to question. Their pricing was right in line with what I thought it should be, as I've had this type of work done before. They did a good cleanup job when it was finished. D*** Conner, was the primary pesron I dealt with and he was excellent! I would refer them to anyone!

Everything was done on time and as expected. I would use them again.

They were very professional and neat. I would refer them to anyone who asked about a roofing problem. I would not use anyone else, they are just very professional!

A two men crew showed up, who were very professional. They contacte dme to ensure it was a convienent time to come out and even emailed me the day before to remind me. They were very professional. It was a couple of hours for the job. I was very satisfied with the work they did, they were very easy to work with!

They were very good and they did what they were supposed to do. They cleaned up after themselves, explained what they would do, and did exactly what they explained they would do. I was happy with their work.

The Roofing Company was my third estimate (my habit is to always get three). Although they had to higher price, the professionalism of presentation and education about the process and various materials available was what sold me. They provided a three tier estimate approach, which I really liked. Economy, middle and high end. Each estimate was done in detail, listing out materials and work that would be done, including the various warranty differences between materials and work. We then negotiated to a price that I could afford and there was absolutely no pressure to accept more than what I felt I could afford. They responded to all my questions, even the 'stupid' ones (I'm roof impaired!) with professionalism. Clean up was very good, found only a few nails in the flower beds, which is to be expected. The warranty which had to be summited to the shingle manufacturer, has already arrived, with a clear list of who is responsible for what.
