They did an awesome job. The installers are extremely professional and quite talented. Their prices are fantastic. We've used them twice so far and highly recommend them

Purchased an entire kitchen worth of cabinets from EZ Cabinetry, Inc. and Quartz countertops from Stone4Kitchen (sister companies). My contractor installed the cabinets. Stone4Kitchen installed the countertops. In the process, Stone4Kitchen damaged (beyond repair) a cabinet and finished cabinet refrigerator side piece. They believe that since they did not install the cabinets, they should not have to actually repair them. That is ridiculous. They broke it. They bought it. Over the past 5 months I have remodeled 2 entire kitchens, purchasing the cabinets and counter tops from these companies, totaling $34,138.37. Apparently they don't care. They messed up the installation, damaged cabinets...and they simply don't care. They don't care about my business or yours. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE COMPANIES...you will regret it if you do!

I put down $2K to reserve 2 granite slabs that were marked down because they were cross cut and would only match said stones. While asking for installation, they sold my slabs. Patrick said we could pick a similar stone and they would honor the same price. In person, the owner would not. He sold my stone and wanted to charge full price for the replacement stone. In addition, I was buying Calcutta Brazil Quartzite for my kitchen. They wanted to do an 8 inch or so seam so they could cut on site rather than making precise cuts at the factory. My current granite counter is one piece and less than the length of the slab I was buying. Do not do business with them. Both professionalism, and craftsmanship are poor.

Bad , Sorry for such a long review, but its worth make decision that u wanna go there or not,Worst experience ever i would not suggest anybody go there for install stone at home or any other place. Cause some people already said that they don't clean the area ,but my actual problem is installation and stone. Back in april i went and choose stone to install in my kitchen, after two weeks they come and install stone latter i found some crack in stone and lots of epoxy on surface of stone,i have made complaint and they agreed and said they will change whole stone in couple weeks they made schedule to install stone in two weeks but guess what they they have to reschedule installation date.after this they took almost six months it means in 1st week of October to reinstall the stone but guess what this time installer bring the stone and broke the stone while installing stone and also broke one of my cabinet frame.he said he will come back with another stone but same thing happen it took another month, so this time i have choose another stone because they didn't have the stone that i like, so i chhose another one. They came to install stone in November again this time they installed stone but very unprofessional they moved my cabinet while pushing stone over it and glued it without out pull cabinet to its original place.and when i talk to them about it they said they cant do anything now cause stone weight, they are like very unprofessional and installation guy is very rude talking when i said u cant leave without fixing mistake they did but he talk rude and left without fixing it.

The good, these guys do a good job cutting and prepping the counter-tops. The Bad, they leave your house in a mess. They don't clean up after themselves, granite dust, wood chips and other debris all over. They can't even reinstall the drawers that they take out to work. They also took down 3 large mirrors in the bathroom and left them for me to put back. Not only did they break my cherry vanity but they also left a gap in my kitchen counter large enough to stick my finger in. After explaining to them that I was not planning on painting the walls, they still tore up the sheet-rock and didn't cut the back-splash high enough to cover the old one. For $3620 you would expect a professional finished job, but I had to go behind them and do a lot of work myself.

Very courteous & well-informed salesperson. Work was scheduled within 2 weeks. Workmen arrived early, performed installations expeditiously, and cleaned up after themselves. Their price was 33% below the competition.

It went exceptionally well. We went to the store front, met with Marques and arranged for someone to come out to do the estimate. I was surprised that the estimator made a template of a tricky multi angle section of our countertops. We received an estimate for each of the four levels of granite. We made our selection of the granite from the stone yard and paid a 50% deposit. Once the selection was made we were on the schedule for installation a week later. The two man crew showed up exactly on time and 3 hours they had removed 77 sq ft my old counter tops and sink and installed the level 2 granite and a new sink. They cleaned up so well there is no granite dust anywhere in the house.

Overall the quality and price of work is pretty good for this company. The office staff was top notch and really helped guide us in design and choosing products. The installers did a good job adapting and overcoming obstacles to make the counter tops look good. However they make a total mess, with granite dust all over the house and don't clean up after themselves (even in their immediate work area). Also they don't do any real finish work (moldings didn't match up to new granite), I would expect spending over $4k that it would be a "turn-key" job. Also they told me that it would only take a 1/2 day, and after showing up an hour late it took almost 3 days. There seems to be bad communication between the estimator and the install crew. Also I was never told that I needed to hire a plumber to reinstall the sinks, again assuming a "turn-key" job.

"We would like to say thank you for your patronage. During this job there were many obstacles to overcome and we appreciate your grace in working with us to complete your project. We are very much aware of your concerns with the crews punctuality and we do our best to have everyone grouped into time frames of 9AM to 1PM or 1PM to 5PM. The crews is expected to arrive in a timely manner (within the allotted time frame) or notify the office if anything changes. This particular week proved to be challenging for our crew. The snow and ice backed us up the 2 days preceding your install. In the future we hope to have a better plan of action as to how to handle "mass cancellations" and "inclimate weather". Our deepest apologies as the crews are advised to clean their work area at the very least. We thank you very much for your feedback on how our business can run smoother and more effectively."

They were wonderful. The bath has 3 different counters. They came out within a few days to measure and showed me more possibilities for the stone. They also took a sample of my tile back to the store to see what would work out best. I had a call within a few days to come see other options. We found the perfect stone and it was installed with 10 days. We had checked out Lowes and they were twice the price.

This job was much like a comedy of errors. During my initial meeting with the estimator Jack, my concerns began because he said a countertop template would not be prepared because, "That's why we're so cheap." In spite of that, I wasn't too concerned as my top is a simple "L" and any misalignment at the wall would be covered by the backsplash.

I had requested an a.m. schedule for installation but received a call on the scheduled day explaining that even though their scheduling calendar included my job, the "a.m." portion had been omitted and the crew had already left on another job so we rescheduled for the following Saturday. When the crew arrived that day and after my old sink and top had been removed, they realized the new top would not fit as it had been cut incorrectly. Fortunately,  the crew reinstalled my old top/sink and after I reconnected the sink drain, I was able to continue to use the kitchen as normal. I have no idea what caused the incorrect countertop cut because Jack had correctly measured the sink centerline but the incorrect top dimensions did not match that centerline measurement and this prevented them was installing it. The job was rescheduled for the following Tuesday in order for a new slab to be cut.

On that day, the top went in and it does look good but the final polishing of the slab after it was cut lacks professionalism. Sliding your fingers over the top gives a slightly rough sensation in that it seems as if you're feeling tiny particles of sand every 1/2" or so. This is very much unlike the sample they provided or other slabs I've seen in that the others are smooth to the touch. Finally, yesterday I noticed a 6" gouge at my newly installed (3 months ago) sheet goods flooring caused by the crew moving the refrigerator. My refrigerator is on wheels but it's obvious from the scraping appearance of the gouge that instead of rolling the unit on its wheels, they pushed it sideways at some point thus dragging the wheels across the floor causing the damage.

I would not recommend this contractor.

"Hello Mrs. [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your review and letting us know on some areas that we could work on to make our business better. Last october we moved offices and perhaps that is one of the reasons we were not as prompt in getting back to you. We do believe in taking care of our clients needs and requests in a timely manner and please accept our apology for the delay. If you still have questions with your sealant we would be more than happy to address your concern and we can make an appointment with a service technician. Please call our office at your convenience to make arrangements. Best Regards, Patrick"

On site staff were extremely helpful. Took the time to explain our options and help us make a decision about granite selection based on samples we brought along and listening to what we wanted. Installation went smoothly although when we were told it would be 'after lunch' for arrival time, I didn't expect that to mean 4:15pm. Installation was quick and we are happy with the results. Definitely more selection and better prices than the big box stores and we got personalized service. We always prefer to go with a local small business if we can find one and they did a good job.

We went with Stone 4 Kitchen because of their lower prices compared to other area granite companies and great customer service (Thank you, Peggy!!). They really worked with us to find and get a hold of the granite we wanted. Peggy went above and beyond and spent a lot of time with us measuring out layout. The guys were able to install it about a week later. Install went smoothly and we were happy with their work. We had a great overall experience and would use them again.

Three things stood out when we visited Stone 4 Kitchen:  price; the helpfulness of John, one of their installers; and Peggy, inside the showroom.

Our initial contact with the office staff was outstanding.  Peggy, in
the office, was very helpful and gave her opinion, which we
appreciated.  She made a suggestion of doing 1/2 bull nose on the parts
of the counter top that wouldn't show as much when I was wanting a full
bull nose all the way around.  Did her suggestion and saved a bit while
still very satisfied with the look.  She also had some suggestions for
various curves of the granite in a corner.  I did not go with her
suggestions, but my husband liked her ideas better than mine, so the
ideas were appreciated and things we had not considered.

The
first day, the installation went very well with the John here as the
installer.  Very professional and smooth.  They had to come back a
second day and it did not go as well.  John was not working and a second
crew came.  They were not as professional and gave me push-back on
electrical sockets that John had started working around.  There was some
issue with the way the sockets were initially installed by the
builder.  John seemed to be willing to fix it and finish the granite
around them, but the second crew told me they were not electricians and I
would have to get electricians in to fix them.  After some back and
forth, finally, John was called.  John, on his day off, with his wife in
the car, came and fixed the sockets. His sacrifice and willingness to
finish the job was so impressive.

The second team installers were
very sloppy with the grout work around the granite, so I asked them to
not do it, knowing that I have a painter (Always Painting by Tommy) that
was coming who does very neat grout work.  Tommy came in and saved the
day with the grout and it all looks fantastic.

Overall, very
pleased with the price of Stone 4Kitchen as they were several hundred
under everyone else.  Also, overall, very pleased with customer
service.  I just wish I didn't have to argue over finishing the job the
way it was started.   I would recommend them for future purchases and installations.

We had to drive from Norfolk to Hampton to view slabs but the trip was well worth it.  We were able to get counter tops with lots of movement for considerably less than we would have paid for a more generic slab.  Everyone from the owner, to the salesperson to the installers were great to work with and the removal and installation went smoothly.  I would highly recommend them.
If you do decide to go to their shop I suggest that you call in advance and get instructions (they are located behind a cabinet shop and not easy to find).

Everything went extremely well from start to finish.
The granite and marble counters are absolutely stunning and they really bring this kitchen up to date.
I must tell you we shopped a number of places around the Newport News area and this place just blew the competition out of the water.
The price and service were outstanding, almost unbelievable.
I would honestly urge you to shop your wants/wish list around and then go to Stone4kitchen. Or save yourself all the time and go there first.
Peggy at the front desk is one hard working lady that is dedicated to taking your dream and turning it into reality.
She makes it happen.
Gana and his men are extremely talented artisans and really paid attention to my plan for the edge details and shape of my island. I just showed them my design on paper and they carried it out....
This was the absolute best part of the kitchen remodel for us and we could not be happier.
Thank you Stone4kitchen!
