George Ronan Power Wash/Roof Wash

It had rained shortly after the day he came so I looked the house over the next day. Brian did a very good job. He was on time, courteous and professional. We will use his company next year.

I chose George Ronan due to his price. I received 5 estimates for pressure washing my 2 story house. 2 of the estimates were for $149, and 3 of the estimates were for $300. I chose Mr. Ronan because he had pressure washed a friend's house and she was happy with the service performed. My husband stayed home of the date the service was provided. The crew was extremely prompt. They used no ladders to pressure wash the 2 story house. All work was done from the first floor. They sprayed a bleach based solution on the house and then rinsed it with a pressure washer (the interior of my house smelled of bleach for hours). They completed work in 1 hour. When I got home from work I walked around the house to check quality. We have a wrap around porch and I knew the north side of the house had severe mildew on the second floor above the porch. When standing on my driveway, everything looked fine, but if you stepped back about 6 feet you could see that they missed a large mildew spot (about 1 foot diameter) on the second floor. Additionally, when standing on the porch and looking up at the soffit that surrounds the porch, the entire south side soffit adjacent to the gutters was still mildewed. I called Mr. Ronan and told him I had quality issues and where I had problems. He told me he could not return (I am at the edge of his service area) for 9 days to correct. I told him that would be fine but that I wanted to be there when they returned to do the work. Mr. Ronan called the day before the crew was to return and told me they would be to my house between 11am and 1pm. I told him I would be at work and requested that his crew call me when they were about 20 minutes away. This did not happen. They came to my house and left a note that they had cleaned 2 areas that I had not reported needed to be redone but did not clean the areas that were still dirty. I will not use this company again. You get what you pay for.

I am very pleased with the work that George did in the house. I marked Responsiveness with a B because I called the company on 26 March 2012 and I got a call back a month later. :-) But, he was willing to do the job on a Sunday, and he arrived on time. Saw advertisement in local coupon distribution; called Mr. Ronan and made appointment to clean/seal the deck and fence. The employee (his son), who was assigned the job showed up on the day scheduled and inspected the job; told my wife that he needed to help someone on another job and would be back that day, he did not return until several days later. We had to call and reschedule. The employee (son) showed up and performed the power washing of the fence and deck, as agreed. The deck and fence were sealed by the same individual a week later; he was on a cell phone talking to someone the majority of the time he was sealing our deck. After he completed the work we asked if his company power washed house siding, he said yes, and that he could come by the following week in the afternoon to perform the work for us. We agreed upon the day and time and asked him if we needed to call anyone else, he said that we didn't need to call. No one showed up the following week to power wash the siding on the house. When my wife called Mr. Ronan to find out what happened, Mr. Ronan said that we were not on the schedule and indicated "strongly" that his son would not have scheduled the work as it was not his job; strongly enough that my wife was upset concerning the call and I called Mr. Ronan and talked with him at length concerning the phone conversation with my wife. In a nutshell, we went over the whole story again and Mr. Ronan said that there must be have been a communication problem, (primarily on our part) and asked if we would like to schedule the siding power wash. I told him that we would not need his services.

I am very pleased. The estimate was the best one I have ever had. I was concerned because my deck is Trex and the manufacturer does not recommend power washing. Mr. Ronan assured me that they had cleaned a lot of Trex . The employee arrived on time and was courteous. The deck looked pretty bad with mildew and dirt stains. He spent over an hour on it and it looks great now. He even washed my swing.

This is the worst job pressure wash job that has been done on my house since living here (1996). There were two men, to wash a two story house, however, one stayed in the truck smoking or walking around. I asked the man who was washing the house to go over areas several times that were missed. A film residue was left on all windows. On the underside of the vinyl siding, most areas were missed and you can still see dirt. A large bucket of bleach solution was spilled on the driveway, but they did nothing to clean this up, so now one area of a two car driveway is 'bleached'. I called the owner, George Ronan out to take a look. He came a couple of days later, but was very arrogant. I showed him some of my concerns, but he showed no concern. George Ronan also said he would call me to come out again and re-do, however, here we are on May 31 and still no call. To be perfectly honest, I really don't care to see them again. The initial visit was May 4th. I DO NOT recommend this company for ANY service they offer.

Showed up when they said they would. I was unable to get away from work to oversee the work, but they left a bill and did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

The call to Mr. Ronan was in response to his special coupon ad in Val-Pak, and I found a favorable grade for his service on Angie's List. I telephoned him on Tuesday and he showed up three days later, as promised, without requiring me to take time off from work to be home for his service. He left a courteous message on my telephone answering machine the day before to confirm his arrival the next day. When I arrived home today to see the great job he did, I immediately wrote a letter of thanks to him and mailed it with my check. It is so refreshing to get this kind of professional service during a time when there are so many poor to mediocre service providers in the market. I highly recommend George Ronan Powerwash, and I look forward to calling him again in the future.

Excellent service. Arrived on time and completed job quickly and correctly. Roof wash vice pressure wash removed mold and did not damage shingles. Pressure wash of siding removed mold and allowed me to maintain Home Owner Association maintenance requirements for a small cost.
