I was tasked with helping my mother repair/replace the roof on the house she has lived in for years, so it was important to me that the work be done well and with integrity. When I asked friends and acquaintances who they would recommend, Nathan's Roofing was the only company whose name was repeated multiple times. So I scheduled an appt and appreciated that the estimator was on time and was there to evaluate our needs (not give a sales pitch). I asked for both a repair quote and a new roof quote and was not pressured to choose either. We hired Nathan's and the work has been the highest of quality. It is evident that Nathan is an involved business owner, and that he wants to do the best and be the best for his customers. The members of his crew are polite, respectful, efficient (and leave the worksite clean), and his office staff are wonderful--very pleasant and responsive. In my opinion, you have chosen the best in RVA, if you choose this company.

It was a challenge because of all the rain last month, however the crew came on a Saturday and returned on Tuesday to finish the job. The front office was great. The on site manager could communicate a little better. Make sure you check your house for old roof shingles marking up your siding...Nathans came back fast and cleaned a few areas. Excellent service!

Our roof was 27 years old. Nathan’s crew completed the work in one day. We were flexible with our schedule, they came on the date scheduled. We choose Nathan due to other neighbors having a good experience and the price was right.

Nathan's Roofing is wonderful! I needed to replace a large part of my roof recently. Nathan talked to me about how to best resolve my problem. I had talked to at least a half dozen other contractors. Nathan showed the most interest and concern about my issue. He scheduled the work, and then a wonderful crew of the nicest men you would ever want to have working on your home arrived for the job. They were polite and pleasant - a real joy to have around for 3 days! I have only good things to say about every employee of Nathan's that I encountered - from Nathan to the lovely ladies who answer the phone to the men who completed my job - they are all so nice. All of the work performed was done in a professional manner. The crew was highly competent and knowledgeable about what they were doing. Precautions were taken to protect the surroundings - shrubbery, brick stairs, brick walkways, windows, driveway. All the debris from the old roof was completely and thoroughly cleaned up and removed. My roof looks FABULOUS! It is absolutely beautiful. Better than I could ever have dreamed that it would look. I am so pleased with how everything turned out. They did a great job on the estimate. We chose Nathan’s because of their price. Nathan’s was very busy, there’s been a lot of roof damage in our neighborhood so they were very busy. It took them a while to come out. They did a good to fair job of providing an estimate. The price was very good compared to Davidson. We have word of mouth on Nathan’s which a lot of people had used them and said they did fine so it just didn’t seem like worth paying extra for the other company.

The service provided by Nathan's was A+ all the way. Starting with our initial consultation, Spenser was polite, articulate and clearly established what our expectations should be during the course of the work. As we have used Nathan's in the past on smaller roofing jobs and always have been impressed with their customer service, we decided to place our business with them. We were told that we would be given 1-2 days advance warning of when the crew would arrive with a start date of mid-late January. This is exactly what happened. The crew arrived and carried out the work in as timely a manner as Mother Nature would allow. The guys were polite, professional and cleaned up behind themselves everyday before leaving. At the completion of the job, we inspected the roof and could see that these were men who took pride in their work, a quality rarely found these days. Not only did they do a consummate job on the roofing, they also cleaned out all our nasty gutters and washed the glass on all the skylights. We are beyond impressed! Additionally, we have three dogs with constant access to the back yard and they were very careful at always keeping the fence gates shut as they moved back and forth through them. They were also respectful of the foundation plantings around the house. Nathan's has earned our business and respect through excellent customer service and quality work. You can't do better than that!

The new skylights they put in had some spots on them. The paint chipped off and we had to make several calls before they finally came out and repainted it. Also, when they were removing the old shingles they did some damage to the wood siding of our house. They said they wouldn't fix it because it was not covered. The contract we signed before the job says that they were not responsible for damage to the siding. In all fairness to them the siding on our house was not in that great of shape anyway.

Nathan's Roofing replaced our cedar shake roof and a skylight.  Nathan's roofing is an exceptional company that I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to have a roof replaced.  Nathan's roofing came recommended to us and we are extremely happy with the quality of work and exceptional service we received.  The crew was always on time and very professional. I find it hard to describe in words the level of service you will receive by hiring this company.  The level of responsiveness to questions/ or concerns that may arise as a homeowner having a roof replaced by Nathan's is by far the best in the industry.  If you want a company that cares about the quality of work being done and is responsive to your concerns, then you want Nathan's.  It was truly a pleasure dealing with everyone at this company because they were all true professionals!

I've used Nathan's Roofing Repair several times over the last year or two. They are very good and reasonably priced. They were professional and efficient. They repaired vent boot's, repaired storm damaged shingles, and replaced vent end-caps.

They were very good.

They did an excellent, excellent job. They were timely, they cleaned up, the people were pleasant, and they also replaced my roof with cedar shake. There was one window that had a small defect I didn't notice, and they came back and replaced it. They give back to the community, like our local swim team, because they work within the community, and they put it back within the community.

They were very easy to work with.  The estimates were completed quickly with no games, and they were eager to get started within a few days.  The general manager came out a couple of days before to make sure that an attic fan would be sufficient, as opposed to needing soffit vents (which would be more expensive).  He also offered to install a new attic access door (for free), since my old one didn't have a good seal.  After the job was completed, they were prompt with taking care of any other little things (like offering to clean off some oil spots left on the driveway).  I decided to use them a few days later to get gutters and gutter guards.  I needed them to come back a little later to fix some flashing that was a bit crooked, and they promptly took care of that.  
Would definitely recommend them or use them again.
